On August 24, liberal publication, Mother Jones, ran an article outlining things that the current president has done after January 2015 when he officially became a lame duck president. Of course, liberals think these things are great. The following is a discussion of the remainder of these items.

Got fast-track authority for the Trans-Pacific Partnership and seems poised to pass it: I wrote a series of articles on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. http://wingnutgal.com/while-we-were-arguing/. The TPP diminishes our sovereignty and gives the current president even more potentially dictatorial powers.

Signed a nuclear deal with Iran and appears on track to get it passed: We all know about the Iran nuclear deal and what a disaster it is. It guarantees that Iran will one day have nuclear weapons. The deal also ignores the nature of the Iranian Regime. According to nationalreview.com, Iran’s political strategy is not focused on respect. It instead focuses on the expansion of its forces throughout the Middle East. Of course, Iran will spend much of the extra cash it receives when sanctions are lifted on supporting Bashar al-Assad as he continues to gas, barrel-bomb, and starve hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and children. Furthermore, the language in the deal with regard to inspections is flawed. Iran fought hard to ensure that it can maximize the bureaucratic facing the inspectors from the IAEA, and the president has admitted such. Allowing Iran to be able to conduct inspections on itself has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. Iran is likely, very likely to continue its covert weaponization research. When the IAEA requests an inspection, Iran will delay as long as possible, hiding its activities. When the inspection does take place, Russia and China will say that Iran is living up to its agreement and sanctions will not need to be put back in place. The deal is toxic and anyone who believes otherwise obviously blindly worships at the altar of this president.

Won yet another Supreme Court case keeping Obamacare intact: Just the fact that his bill that was passed in 2010 is still tied up in the courts, only indicates what I’ve said about it all along; that it is worst thing that has ever been wrought on the American people.

Issued new rules that increase the number of “managers” who qualify for overtime pay: First of all, this wasn’t for managers only. This was for lower-tiered professional employees who are not currently eligible for overtime. This will totally and completely wreck the American workplace as we know it and further expedite the transforming of the United States of American into a socialist totalitarian state. I wrote a series of articles on the evils of this order. http://wingnutgal.com/obamas-executive-order-to-extend-overtime-part-1/.

Presided over the birth of twin giant panda babies at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.: Is this for real? Actually, I wish it was. Then maybe I could have something good to say about the president.

On Wednesday, the current president got enough voters to prevent an override of his veto of Congress’s vote of NO on the Iranian nuclear deal. Therefore, allowing the president to pursue this deal. We were told that this agreement would prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Not we that not only is that not true, but it all but guarantees that Iran will have such weapons and will also have long range missiles capable of delivering those weapons to our shores.

While our country is falling apart at the seams, the current president finds that he has the time to rename a mountain in Alaska while continuing to push his deliberate lies about global warming/climate change or whatever the Democrats/liberals/progressives want to call it these days.

This president has done so much damage to the United States of America that I wonder, even if we can elect a republican president and maintain majorities in the House and Senate, will we ever be unable to undo the damage he has done?

The current President of the United States has been in office for a little over six and a half years. We’ve had six and a half years of ultra-left-wing government and we’re still here. I started this blog in April 2014 and I’m still writing to it at least three times a week. I haven’t been hauled off to a gulag never to be seen or heard from again, nor have I been audited by the IRS, something that often happens to conservatives during leftist administrations. I started my own small business and I’m sure the current president would say I didn’t build that. After resigning from my day job in 2013, I had to purchase health insurance on my own and due to Obamacare, my insurance premiums increased by close to 50% and my policy is not as good as what I had. Furthermore, I can still afford to heat and cool my home and put gas in my vehicles. In fact, I added a second vehicle, a convertible.

With the exception of having to pay more for health insurance and not having access to the quality of health care I was receiving before Obamacare is the big negative difference in my life because of the policies of the current president. That’s enough, though.

The first time I laid eyes on this president happened while I was watching the 2004 Democrat National Convention on TV. He was an Illinois State Senator and delivered a riveting speech that had the Democrats in attendance slobbering all over themselves. I took an instant dislike to him then. It was something in the way he was delivering his speech and all of his talk about unity. I immediately thought of one world government where we were all little square people living in little square houses, driving little square cars. We would drive to our little square offices and sit in our little square cubes, perform our little square jobs to get our little square paychecks. I had a vision of a mechanical world and yes a socialist world.

Fast-forward four years where Democrat nominee for president, Barak Obama, told a rapt audience that his goal as President of the United States was to fundamentally change the United States of America. This statement concerned me. Just what was he wanting to change us into? I suspected a European-like socialist nation. I couldn’t watch any part of the 2008 Democrat national convention. Of course, I saw the videos of his acceptance speech with the Greek columns. This seemed more like the coronation of a King rather than the nomination of a presidential candidate. This began to disturb me.

After this president was elected in 2008, along with a Democrat majority in the House and a super-majority in the Senate, I could see how easily an established Democracy/Republic could turn into dictatorship. When Scott Brown, a Republican, won a special election in Massachusetts to replace the late Senator Edward Kennedy, I breathed a sigh of relief. The Democrats no longer held a super-majority in the Senate. This would mean that Obamacare would not pass in the Senate and would not become law.

Silly me! I never imagined that the Democrats would use every legislative trick in the book, including threats and intimidation, to pass this revolutionary piece of legislation. It happened, though, and Obamacare was signed into law. That was a day that triggered the descent of the United States of America.

With a willing media who has his back, and low information voters, we’ve seen this president get bolder and bolder. After losing both the House and the Senate in 2014, he simply said that he would use his phone and his pen to push through his agenda items without Congress. He justified this by saying that what he did was for the good of this country. That doesn’t matter. There are certain things in place in this nation that are to prevent such as that from happening. However, with his phone and his pen, this president turned this country into a dictatorship. He has changed the ACA without approval of Congress many times. He has failed to investigate one of his pet entities where corruption and illegalities are taking place. We have a president who obeys the laws he chooses to obey and the rest be damned. And I haven’t even discussed the environmental regulations the EPA has bestowed on us.

In my lifetime, there have been presidents that I’ve liked and those who I have disliked. When most of them spoke, I generally believed most of what they said, even Clinton most of the time. I may not have agreed with them politically, but I didn’t think they would lie to the American people. I don’t believe anything the current President of the United States says, nothing!

Except for costlier and less quality healthcare, I don’t’ guess my life with respect to government has changed that much. Unless there is an out and out revolution or over-throw of the government, the transformation of the United States of America into what the current president desires it to be, will take decades.

Make no mistake about it, the current president, along with his administration, have put the wheels in motion. National Healthcare, the Trans Pacific Partnership, gay marriage, etc. Liberals who know that Obamacare has not been nor will it be the panacea they envisioned, are already saying that the people will get used to Obamacare and accept it as the new norm. I sure hope that’s not the case.

What will this country be like in twenty years? I don’t know. I think we’ve traveled down the socialist/communist road to far. As I write this, I think only intervention, Divine intervention, directly through the man upstairs can save this country and deliver us from the evils beset upon us by this president and his administration.

I’ve been critical of Americans, both conservatives and liberals for continuing the discussions on the Confederate flag while the United States of America continues to burn. As a Christian, I don’t believe in coincidences. Instead, I believe that things happen because of God’s will. So, while we’re mired in discussions about the Confederate flag, the erasing of history surrounding the splitting up of the nation and the ensuing civil war, and the coming together of the American states after the war, things are happening that will soon have us all wondering about what happened to the United States of America.

A couple of months ago, I was talking to a low information voter friend who said she thought all issues with Iran had been resolved and we didn’t have to worry about that country any longer. I just about choked. I had to resist telling my friend that it was because of people like her that we have a President like the one we have. Thank goodness we live in Alabama where her democrat vote for president doesn’t count.

According to USA Today, the United States wants to ensure Iran’s nuclear program is just for peaceful civilian purposes with Iran saying it wants to produce its own nuclear fuel for domestic energy, scientific and medical purposes. Iran also indicated that would accept certain limits to a fuel production program it considers it considers its sovereign right, in return for the lifting of international sanctions that have crippled its economy.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu sees a potential Iranian nuclear weapon as an existential threat to nearby Israel, so he worries that any deal allowing Iran to produce nuclear fuel poses the risk that Iran will be able to create a secret weapons’ program.

Congressional Democrats gave the current president a March 24 deadline to reach a framework agreement. At that point, they will join Republican colleagues to consider increasing sanctions on Iran. Those favoring tougher sanctions say they are needed to prod Iran into an acceptable accord, but the current President says increased sanctions would derail the talks. As such, the current President asked Congress to hold off on new sanctions until after the deadline for a comprehensive agreement of June 30.

It’s now July 13. According to Huffington Post, negotiators at the Iran nuclear talks plan to announce today that they’ve reached a historic deal capping nearly a decade of diplomacy that would curb the country’s atomic program in return for sanctions relief, two diplomats told the Associated Press yesterday. A senior U.S. official declined to speculate as to the timing of any agreement of announcement, but said “major issues remain to be resolved.”

The pact is meant to impose long-term, verifiable limits on nuclear programs that Tehran could modify to produce nuclear weapons. Iran, in return would get tens of billions of dollars in sanctions relief.

The current President has indicated that he would not allow Iran to procure a nuclear weapon. I don’t know about you, but I feel so comforted. Has this President every told us the truth about anything? Is the rogue regime of Iran going to abide by any agreement? Of course not!

However, a nuclear deal will face serious scrutiny from members of Congress. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman, Bob Corker, said that he remains skeptical about a possible deal. This is something that those of us who consider ourselves politically astute must keep watching and not get distracted by what’s offending who and why.

Another issue that is taking place while we’re distracted is the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA). The TPA has passed in the House of Representatives and in the Senate. According to Senator Jeff Sessions’ website, it eliminates Congress’ ability to amend or debate trade implementing legislation and guarantees an up or down vote on a far-reaching international agreement before that agreement has received any public view. Not only will Congress have given up the 67-vote threshold for a treaty and the 60-vote threshold for important legislation, but will have even given up the opportunity for amendment and the committee review process that both insure member participation. This applies not only to the Trans Pacific Partnership, but all international trade agreements during the life of the TPA.

According to a USTR outline of the TPP, the TPP is a living agreement which the President could update as appropriate to address trade issues that emerge in the future as well as new issues that arise with the expansion of the agreement to include new countries. The living agreement provision means that participating nations could both add countries to the TPP without Congressional approval and could also change any of the terms of the agreement.

The Congressional Research Service reports that if the United States signs on to an international trade agreement, the implementing legislation of that trade agreement would supersede conflicting federal, state, and local laws. When this occurs, U.S. workers may be subject to sudden changes in tariffs, regulations, or dispute resolution proceedings in international tribunals outside the U.S. Can you say bye-bye to our sovereignty?
Information on Senator Sessions’ website further indicates that the biggest open secret in the international market is that other countries are devaluing their currencies to artificially lower the price of their exports while artificially raising the price of out exports to them. The result has been a massive bleeding of domestic manufacturing wealth.

The above is a smattering of information regarding TPA/TPP, and it is my hope that you will be motivated to learn more about TPA and TPP. Senator Sessions’ has a summary on his website that is understandable.Senator Jeff Sessions

Having elaborated on the above, there are some disturbing items arising out of this Confederate flag controversy. We all know that the “tolerant left” is never satisfied when they get something they want. They wanted the Confederate flags removed from where they were flying over government buildings. I’ve also heard that they are wanting to make flying the Confederate flag a criminal offense. Each day the liberals come up with something new that should offend certain segments of society. For all intents and purposes, we have lost our freedom of speech. Now it seems like the left desires to erase the history surrounding the Civil War. Remember how Stalin erased history?

Yes, we should be mindful of everything coming out of the Confederate flag controversy, but there are other things going on that we must be mindful about also. If we get passed the Confederate flag controversy, we may very well discover that our leaders have accomplished their goal of the destruction of the United States of America.

The last couple of weeks have been good ones for the Democrats and the current President. In its rulings, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare and same sex marriages. I have democrat/liberal friends and most are good people who sincerely think that Obamacare is a good thing and that allowing gays to marry will end oppression for them. How could anybody not want everyone to have access to affordable health care and how could good person not want equality for all?

With Obamacare, everyone I know who has to purchase their health insurance independently has seen a substantial increase in their monthly premiums. In addition, deductibles and co-pays have increased. In order to qualify for subsidies, a single individual must have approximately $12,000 in taxable income that is verifiable. However, if you estimate incorrectly, you could owe the feds at tax time.

For example, you begun the year doing odd jobs after being laid off from your high paying job. You are then able to get subsidies. Later in the year, you get a high paying job with health insurance as a benefit. You’re thus off Obamacare, but because your income for the year is much higher than you estimated earlier, you may owe the feds part or all of the subsidies you received earlier in the year.

There are so many strings attached to the subsidies that you wonder if it’s even worth trying to qualify for subsidies. Tax time next year is sure to be interesting.

Before Obamacare, 85% of Americans had health insurance and were reasonable satisfied with their health insurance. That leaves 15% who were uninsured for various reasons. If it was the desire of this administration that everyone have health insurance, why didn’t they leave the 85% along and concentrate only on the 15%? The answer: it was not the administration’s desire that everyone have health insurance, it was their desire to control one-sixth of the nation’s economy; and in controlling the health insurance industry, the government controls you.

With regard to the ruling on same sex marriages, the Supreme Court has ignored the rule of the people in 31 states and ordered that all states recognize marriages where the partners are of the same sex. With this, there has been talk of ministers being jailed and churches being fined for refusing to perform same sex marriages. Instead of seeking another bakery or photographer for services at the wedding, same sex couples are suing with intent to destroy the business and those folks who are associated with the business. Now, how Christian is that? Wait, I’m not supposed to invoke Christianity, am I? Wouldn’t it just be easier to find another photographer or caterer? But, what do I know, I’m just an unenlightened oaf. This college graduate/former software engineer is not able to grasp liberal thought.

What’s my point, you ask? The current administration doesn’t care about the Americans citizens having access to quality healthcare. If they did, we wouldn’t have the abomination that is Obamacare. Also, as much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, the current administration doesn’t care about equal rights for Americans who adhere to an alternative lifestyle. This is nothing but a war on Christianity.

Then there’s the confederate flag controversy. I just read an article where CNN was so shocked that the majority of Americans, not just southern Americans feel that the confederate flag is a symbol of pride and not a symbol of racism. But that doesn’t stop the “tolerant left” from labeling all those who take pride in the confederate flag as racists. In other words, they refuse to accept differing points of view and that makes them bigots. What else is new, we already knew that.

What’s so sad, though, is that the Trans Pacific Partnership is being implemented behind our backs. The TPP will put an end to American sovereignty, make us subservient to other countries, some with totalitarian regimes, and take us several giant steps forward to one world government. When the flak over same sex marriage, Obamacare, and the confederate flag dissipate, we’re going to find that the current President has kept his campaign promise to fundamentally transform the United States of America.

Things are looking mighty grim. The Republicans we sent to Congress have not stood up to this administration. I don’t know what they’re thinking. Are they scared of getting blamed for a government shutdown? Are they afraid of the current President? Are they afraid of the liberal media?

Our Republican led Congress is doing nothing to stop the abominable acts of the current administration. And if they are not going to stop the destruction of the United States of America, who is? It may have to be “We, the People.” Am I willing to travel to Washington and demonstrate? I’m ready to go. I don’t want to do it alone. I’d be unsuccessful. Am I willing to stand outside the White House with a sign? Yes, I am. Am I willing to engage in unruly behavior? I’m not.

What do I want to do? I would be willing to travel with a group to Washington to meet with the likes of Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, and perhaps the current President and present them with facts and grievances. Would the above consider meeting with a group of concerned citizens? I doubt it.

There has to be a way, though, to take our country back. I sincerely believe that there will be some sort of uprising soon. In case you didn’t know, I’m a huge Alabama football fan. Most of the time my team wins and wins convincingly. But the few times that they have stumbled, they’ve always turned around and “made a run for it.” Alabama doesn’t go down easily. I think the good people of the United States of America will do the same. Things may not be bad enough yet that people are ready to fight, but I hope and pray that at a certain point, the strong will stand their ground and not let the United States of America go down in flames. How much further do we have to go and how much worse do things have to get before that happens?

I watched the video of the current president’s eulogy of Reverend Clementa Pickney, one of the nine killed in the Charleston, S.C. shooting. Liberals, as usual, were swooning like they do every time this president opens his mouth. Some conservatives were indicating that the speech was about race and gun violence. It was also indicated that the president tried to fake a southern accent and talk “black.” Remember he’s only half black.

The first eight or nine minutes of the eulogy was good. The president said some very nice things about Reverend Pickney and I’m sure they were all true. He did try to speak at times with a southern accent and that was a joke. People should be themselves and talk like they normally talk.

After those first eight or nine minutes, things went to hell in a hand basket. He began deliberating on gun violence and how we needed more gun control in the country. He also spent time talking about race relations in the country and how the confederate battle flag was being taken down from various southern state capitols.

He did speak about God’s grace and it sounded like he was trying to be a minister, which, of course, he’s not. One thing had changed, though. Until the eulogy, the current president seemed to be uncomfortable talking about God, the Bible, and Christianity. On the tenth anniversary of 9/11, he was reading scripture at ground zero and seemed very uncomfortable. It was like he had never read the Bible out loud in his life. Most of us who have been reading scripture out loud since we were children know how God’s word ebbs and flows. The president was having trouble, though.

He seemed comfortable in the pulpit and I don’t quite know what to think about that. Even though the first eight or nine minutes were good and the current president sounded like he cares about people, I have to believe that he was faking it. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself and while, I may take some flak for this, I don’t believe he cares about the shooting victims and their families. I believe he just wants to continue to push his radical agenda of eliminating the ownership of firearms for private citizens and doing as much damage as he can to the southern states because we didn’t vote for him.

I clicked off the video as he was beginning to sing “Amazing Grace” at the end of the eulogy. I just couldn’t take it.

While we’re still discussing the merits of the confederate flag with the liberals calling anyone who connects with it a racist, things are happening to further destroying the United States of America as we knew it seven years ago. The Trans Pacific Partnership is going to end American sovereignty. It bothers me that very few people are talking about it. It’s boring and complicated; not near as sexy as arguing about the confederate flag and why the Civil War was fought.

Americans, wake up! We’re losing our country. We’re losing our free speech. We’re losing our freedom to practice our religion. Christianity is under attack. It has been suggested that ministers should be jailed for refusing to perform same sex weddings. I’m really back in the dark ages because I think private businesses should have the right to choose with whom they do business. That’s apparently gone out the window and I would be considered a twentieth century fossil for even suggesting such a thing.

In addition to ignoring the evils of TPP, we’re continuing to ignore the spread of ISIS in the Middle East. Plus we’re continuing to ignore a struggling economy. The national debt is approaching 20 trillion. Everything is overwhelming, and as I’ve stated many times, I no longer know the United States of America. What can we do to make things right?

There are several Bibles scattered in various places in my house. When we pray, God hears us and he answers us. Are all the bad things that are happening now signs that the end is near? We don’t know. Only God knows that. Should we quit worrying ourselves about the insidious things taking place that will surely erode the comfort level in which so many of us have existed our entire lives? Is it our turn to be uncomfortable about the United States being attacked by radical Islam? Is it our turn to be concerned about being able to worship the one true God freely? Is it our turn to worry about the degradation of our health care system, the degradation of the values we were taught in Sunday school?

We don’t know what’s ahead of us and I feel so helpless at times. As I said above, though, there are numerous Bibles scattered throughout my house. I need to pick up one right now. I need to read it and I need to pray. You should, also. That’s where it starts. Then God will surely show us the way.
