MELBOURNE CAMPAIGN RALLY

Was the so-called Melbourne campaign rally held by President Trump at the Melbourne-Orlando International Airport a waste of time or a stroke of genius?

campaignrally

When the Melbourne campaign rally was first announced, I was indifferent about it. It was being billed as a campaign rally because President Trump had already signed up to run for president in 2020 and the funds to pay for the rally were coming out of the campaign.

Of course, it goes without saying that those of the “tolerant left” totally trashed it. Here are a few of the comments that were made on a liberal thread to an article from Poliltico entitled, “Trump to Take Breather from White House, Hold Rally this Weekend.”

  • Hasn’t he taken a break every weekend so far?
  • He’s up to avoiding news conferences.
  • Rally to make himself feel good.
  • I would rather him do his (deleted) job instead of wasting taxpayer money on his vacations. The Presidency isn’t a Monday-Friday, 9-5 job.
  • I’d rather he do his job. Did you get vacations after three weeks on any job you’ve ever had? Me either.

And these were some of the plainer vanilla comments that were made. Furthermore, on this thread, commenters were alleging that President Trump had already taken three vacations since his inauguration. That’s bunk and everyone, including the liberals who are alleging this know it. He’s worked every day or almost every day since assuming the office of the presidency. Visit whitehouse.gov to see a list of his accomplishments.

Back to the Melbourne campaign Rally, was it a waste of time or a stroke of genius. I think even the “tolerant left” would admit to themselves behind closed doors that it was a stroke of genius.

We almost lost this country and had Hillary Clinton been elected president, within four years, only remnants of the United States of America would probably remain. Former President Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is a fragile think and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance, it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.” (Taken from Wikiquote.org/wiki/Ronald_Reagan)

Having almost lost this country, it is up to conservatives, including Trump supporters, the President and his administration, Congress, and the Judicial system to take responsibility for seeing that our freedoms remain in place for generations to come. Trump supporters, particularly, should not become discouraged. And while there are certainly going to be mistakes made, plus the left is not ever going to give up in its quest to oust President Trump, the conservative base must stay focused and ready to fend off the flames that the “tolerant left” is sure to throw.

After the president endured a grueling week, the Melbourne campaign rally served to reinforce Trump supporters and remind them of the things that this president has already accomplished and intends to accomplish. With the Internet and social media as driving forces that no one had heard of twenty-five years ago, especially social media, Trump supporters can mix it up with the “tolerant left.”

Many of us, myself included, have at one time worked in a customer service capacity. A lot of companies require their customer service employees to attend frequent seminars designed to reinvigorate and re-instill positive attitudes related to their work. This is necessary because everyone suffers burn-out occasionally and is prone to slack or sloppiness.

President Trump, in holding the Melbourne campaign rally, seems to be adopting the above approach in keeping his base reinvigorated. Plus, he is reminding the American people of the things his administration has accomplished and providing a roadmap to what he intends to do in the weeks and months ahead.

Should he continue these rallies? Absolutely! How often? The president has not called to ask my opinion, but when he does, I’m going to tell him that every 2-1/2 to 3 months is what I would recommend. Brian Kilmeade of the Fox and Friends show recommended every two months. Or maybe whenever needed would be a possibility.

Either way, the Melbourne campaign rally served its purpose. President Trump’s base got a dose of enthusiasm, and the liberals were left with egg on their faces.

FEELING GUILTY ABOUT BEING WHITE

As a political writer who must keep up with what’s current, I often read about such people, but I never thought I would have any contact with them.

Instead, I envisioned these folks as high academicians, giving lectures at institutes of higher learning and wandering through the halls and streets of places like UC Berkley, the University of Michigan, Brown University, Wellesley College, Radcliff, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. They taught graduate level classes in psychology, sociology, and philosophy. For the men, outfits consisting of jeans, t-shirts and old out of style jackets were in order, along with running shoes or Birkenstock sandals, weather permitting, dating back to when Birkenstocks were actually in style. If you’ve ever had a pair, you know they never wear out. For the women, it was much the same except for the jackets, they wore cardigan sweaters. The men would almost always have beards and disheveled hair. Most of the women would be thin with mousy hair. Of course no makeup was ever worn, and fingernails would be short and unpainted. The cars would almost always be older Toyotas or Nissans, containing only the bare necessities. Because fossil fuels were evil, gas mileage was of the utmost importance. Occasionally, one might splurge on a Prius. All of them longed for the day when the use of fossil fuels would be eliminated entirely. It goes without saying that these types fell far to the left in the political spectrum. Businesses, large and small were evil to these men and women.

They longed for the day when the governments ran everything. There would be health care for everyone, healthy food and clean water for everyone plus everyone would have a home or apartment. Political correctness would rule, making speech limited. Guns would be prohibited resulting in very low crime rates since those with criminal tendencies would not have access to guns. Terrorist threats would be eliminated due to universal love, the lack of guns, and climate change solutions that had been put in place by the United States and other countries of the world.

Until then they would be forced to exist in this world full of gun owners, capitalists, Christians, racists, misogynists, homophobes, and the worst of them all, Republicans, also referred to as conservatives.

Of all the sins of the world, racism was the most insidious, fostering white privilege, sometimes referred to as white supremacy. Every white person was born with the racist seed in them and would have to fight their racist tendencies all of their lives. Because of this, white people would be responsible for atoning for this evil seed though feelings of guilt and the inability to enjoy life because as a white person because you don’t deserve that pleasure. Furthermore, you must treat people of color much, much differently than you treat your white contemporaries in order to avoid hurting them further. Life had already dealt them a major blow because of their skin color and you must engage in all forms of political correctness when interacting with them.

After reading a few white liberal guilt articles, I was amused. This couldn’t be real. No one, except for the mentally ill could possibly be this way. Of course, these “tolerant” leftists hate people like me. They pontificate about all the hate that permeates the world and preach to all of us that eliminating the hate will solve the problems of terrorism, crime, misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia, and the worst of them all, racism. But they’re the ones who exude hate.

Much to my dismay, in the past month to six weeks, I have had the displeasure of communicating with two such folks through social media. So, these people do exist and are not that far removed from me.

Of course, you’re a racist if you don’t support Barak Obama’s policies. You can tell them until you’re blue in the face that it’s his policies you don’t agree with. You can further tell them that you have black friends, and patronize black-owned businesses, but it doesn’t matter to them. After 7-1/2 years of being called a racist because I didn’t support Obama’s policies and didn’t agree with him politically, I got fed up. No more Ms. Nice Girl! I put the ball back into their “oh so tolerant” court, telling them that unless they could point to anything I’ve said or written that denigrates this president due to his skin color, they best not hurl the racism accusation at me. Some liberals I’ve sent slithering back under their rock.

Earlier this week, I decided to get into a liberal thread where the “tolerant left” was ripping Melania Trump, wife of Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, to pieces for the alleged parts of her July 18 speech at the Republican National Convention, that were very similar to parts of Michelle Obama’s 2008 speech at the Democrat National Convention. The originator of the thread just couldn’t understand why no Republican friends of his had come forth with opinions on the alleged plagiarism. Of course, there were snide remarks about Republicans is the post. Remember, this person is a liberal.

My first post was as follows: “I’ve tried to ignore anything Michelle Obama has said after her comment, ‘for the first time in my live, I am proud of my country.’ Although I do remember something about going out and eating fried chicken and some anti-white remarks made to the 2015 graduates of Tuskegee University. I barely remember what I had for lunch yesterday, much less something someone I don’t like said in 2008. I have linked an article about it on my political website and reviewed the two passages that are similar. And that’s what they are…similar. Plus we’re talking a few lines from a fifteen or so minute speech. If that’s all the dems can pick out of the opening night at the convention, I guess the opening night was successful.

A so-called “white guilt” liberal commented to me, “Hi, Nancy, racist much?”

I lit into this person, giving them name of this website and told him what I tell other liberals who have accused me a racism because I don’t like the current president’s policies. This person then indicated that my attitude and reaction demonstrated that I harbored racism. Subsequently, this person indicated that he was prejudiced and racist also, but he tries to intellectually resist it. He admitted that he had work to do since he “brings prejudice to the table.”

This person wanted to help me and pointed out that the mentioning of fried chicken, Tuskegee, and anti-white with respect to Michelle Obama makes me a racist. In other words, pointing out that some of Michelle’s speech to the 2015 Tuskegee grads trashed white people was racist. According to this poster, Michelle Obama should be allowed to say and do anything she pleases, I guess.

The poster went on to accuse me of immediately judging and convicting Michelle Obama due to how she said something in her spouse’s nomination party speech. I didn’t say anything about Michelle Obama’s (2008) speech other than I didn’t remember it. This person also indicated that I condemned the first lady for all eternity, except to remember only the things that she did that were wrong. Oh brother! I don’t like her and I don’t like what she stands for. I’m human, what’s wrong with that? I wouldn’t be surprised if this person had some choice things to say about Nancy Reagan back in the day. But wait! Nancy Reagan was white and that makes it okay to say bad things about her. But Michelle Obama is black, therefore saying negative things about her is not okay.

This person also accused me a being a “label-jacker.” I don’t know what that means and I haven’t taken the time to look it up. I carry the flag of all lives matter to misdirect, denigrate, or water down people of color’s desire to bring focus to what is likely a long-term oppressive cry for help.  The poster said that he/she wanted to help me because I carry prejudice in my heart and mind, indicating that with so many people accusing me of racism, that I should ponder it.

This person is a genuine certified loon; and not having time to stay in this thread, I left. Sure, I could have refuted his accusations, but what good would it have done? There’s no reasoning with these folks. The thread began with a discussion of the alleged plagiarism in Melania’s speech, which should have been nothing than a “nuts and bolts” online conversation. Of course, it evolved into what I described above. I later found out that this person only lives a few hours from me. People like this in the South! “I think I need my smelling salts.”

Unfortunately, there are many folks like this person and they have one vote just like I do. Here’s a few links to articles about these folks. It’s scary.

GOTTA LOVE THE TOLERANT LEFT

One of my favorite topics to write about is the tolerant left, which we know is anything but. With a presidential election months away and a socialist/communist the presumptive Democrat nominee, educating voters is of utmost importance. The following not only illustrates liberal lies, but left’s intolerance of differing points of view and its overall dis- ingenuousness.

The following meme has made rounds on Facebook. “When a faithfully married black president who was the son of a single mother, the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review and a professor of constitutional law is considered unintelligent, immoral, and anti-American by the right while a xenophobic, misogynistic, serially philandering trust fund kid who quotes from the National Enquirer, peddles conspiracy theories, routinely calls women ugly and fat, calls McCain a loser for having been a prisoner of war, and who has advocated torture and the bombing of women and children has captured the hearts of a majority of Republicans. This is white supremacy folks. Plain and simple.

When this meme showed up on my news feed, I replied as follows. “Every president in my life time, and I’m sure every president back to George Washington has been accused of being unintelligent (dumb, a moron, etc.), immoral, and anti-American by his opponents. Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush probably took the most criticism of any two presidents in recent history. Like most Republicans, I have issues with Trump. He certainly was not my first choice for nominee, but I will vote for him. Some of the things Trump’s being accused of in this meme are questionable or flat-out lies. And I won’t get into that now. But how anyone can relate this to racism/white supremacy is beyond me. But it has been my observation that liberals amend the definition of racism to mean anything they don’t like.”

Like I said above, Donald Trump was not my first choice for Republican nominee for president, but I’m going with him because a Hillary Clinton presidency will mean the end of the United States of America as we know it. I do have issues with Donald Trump and felt that his comment about Senator John McCain was out of line and totally uncalled for.

The meme also indicated that Donald Trump was, among other things, xenophobic and misogynistic. I don’t know about the origin of these terms, but I had never heard these terms used until a year or two ago. According to Merriam-Webster, xenophobic means fear of hatred of strangers or foreigners, and misogynistic means, according to vocabulary.com, fear and distrust of women. As an international business man, I can’t possibly believe that Trump is scared of foreigners. I would have to guess that the tolerant left is labeling him xenophobic because he has pledged to stop the influx of illegal immigrants into our country. Again, that is no indication that he is xenophobic. As far as Trump being misogynistic is concerned. He is a successful business man and I have no doubt that he’s able to “get women.” However, there are women who have worked for him who have indicated that he was a great person and boss. His first wife had said some nasty things about him, but later indicated that these comments were made during their divorce, and she has nothing but admiration for him now. While there might be some problems between Donald Trump and individual women, this most certainly does not indicate that he hates of distrusts women. I thought the tolerant left was supposed to be open-minded, giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Next, the meme calls the presumptive Republican nominee a “serially philandering trust fund kid.” According to Slate.com, a far left website, Trump inherited 40 million from his father. Slate further states, “Throughout his career he has been a real estate developer and manager, a builder of golf courses, a casino magnate, a reality TV host, a celebrity who slaps his name on assorted buildings for a fee, a hawker of power ties, and much more. This cuts against the idea that he is merely a glorified trust-fund kid: Rather than sit on his wealth while someone else saw to its care, he decided to jump into a number of highly entertaining, risky, and at times ill-advised business ventures, which have collectively turned him into an international celebrity. He took risks with the money he was given, and they seem to have paid off over time, both financially and personally. Meanwhile, Trump runs a company with thousands of employees. Whatever wealth he has created for himself, the total value that his company has created over the years is probably far greater.” So, he has created thousands of jobs and many, many people have gotten rich because of Donald Trump. But wait! The tolerant left doesn’t like rich people or people who are doing reasonably well and don’t have to depend on the government. They’re obviously unhappy with the opportunities Donald Trump has created because he has kept people from becoming dependent on the government. Perhaps many of Trump’s employees vote Republican.

And speaking of “philandering trust fund kids.” Wasn’t one of the left’s most esteemed icons, Edward Moore Kennedy, a “philandering trust fund kid?” How many jobs and how much wealth did Teddy Kennedy create? But I must remember that the late Senator was an advocate of putting as many folks on the government dole as possible. That’s what the left likes.

Yes, Trump has called certain women ugly and fat, but I wouldn’t say he routinely does it. And he’s going to have to quit that.

In a Republican candidate debate on Fox News in March, Donald Trump did indicate that he approved of water boarding and going further if necessary in fighting ISIS and other terrorist groups whose purpose is to destroy the United States of America. He also indicated that he would possibly order the military to kill the family members of militants who threaten the United States. The following day he backed off of that with his campaign issuing a statement saying he would not order the military to take actions contrary to international of U.S. law.

To say that Donald Trump has captured the hearts of a majority of Republicans is a stretch. He did get the votes, though. However, every Republican I have communicated with, seems to feel the same way I do about him…not their first choice, but they will vote for him, Hillary would be beyond disastrous.

Notwithstanding all of the above, the most ludicrous statement in this meme is the next to the last sentence. “This is white supremacy folks.” How is this remotely related to race? The author accuses Republicans of calling President Obama unintelligent, immoral, and anti-American. This president, like all other presidents, has, of course, been called names by his political opponents and detractors. Unintelligent, immoral, and anti-American are not racial slurs or indications that the person describing the president using these adjectives is a racist or advocates white supremacy.

Why should any of us be surprised, though? This is the tolerant left at its finest, always boasting that they are the ones who respect different points of view, always giving folks the benefit of the doubt, etc. Yeah, right!

TAKE COVER CONSERVATIVES, THE TOLERANT LEFT IS COMING AFTER YOU!

It’s approximately six months until the 2016 presidential election and the “tolerant left” has already declared a “no holds barred” war on Republicans, conservatives, Christians, and of course, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. So, take cover conservatives, the tolerant left is coming after you!

As an alumnae and fan of the University of Alabama, who won the national championship for the 2015 football season, I sometimes get irked when our rivals only chant, “Beat Bama.” Would it hurt you to occasionally cheer for your own team instead of being constantly obsessed by the Crimson Tide?

This obsession by Alabama’s opponents reminds me of the obsession the “tolerant left” has with conservatives, Christians, and Republicans. Because the left can’t win arguments on the merits of the issues, they have to resort to denigrating their opposition, conservatives, Christians, and Republicans.

One of the first times I took on a liberal was on Facebook where I indicated that all the Democrat party cared about was getting as many folks dependent on the government as possible. This liberal then started accusing me of hating people that were receiving benefits from the government, including Social Security and Medicare. This person was a Ph.D. and well-informed regarding political matters, but still it didn’t seem that she was able to read and understand what I was writing. Like I do with most liberals, I had to ask her to go back and re-read what I wrote. I doubt she did because she just kept on with her false accusations that were totally off the subject of my post. I admit that I was shook up after our exchange and had second thoughts about continuing this blog.

In the following months, I learned that discussions with liberals followed mostly the same path. Because liberals don’t care anything about facts and statistics, they can’t discuss an issue with any sort of reasonableness. Therefore, they get emotional and accuse you of hating the poor, hating minorities, hating public education, not wanting people to have access to healthcare, etc. Then they call you names. I’ve been called the following names: nut case, moron, idiot, ignoramus, buffoon, brain dead, and others. Because of their intense hatred for Fox Cable News, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, etc., they will denigrate you for watching Fox or listening to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. I was having a back and forth with two liberals about six months ago. After I had won the argument, one of the liberals addressed the other liberal saying, “give it up, she probably thinks Fox News is real news.”

Because facts and statistics are hard to remember and liberals will be shrill and emotional when they come at you, it might be a good idea to keep a few notes in your wallet or on your phone.

A few issues to keep in mind include energy policy, foreign policy, healthcare, ISIS, immigration, and race relations. These are a few of many things that Obama has messed up. In fact, Obama has messed up everything he has touched since becoming president.

So, my fellow conservatives, Christians, gun owners, Trump supporters, be brave and be strong, and continue to read Wing Nut Gal.

You can win arguments with the left, it’s not hard to do. Just don’t get discouraged when you’re called names and accused of things that just aren’t true. It’s a fact that liberals are not tolerant of different points of view. They are also much more racist and bigoted than conservatives. And if you really want to make one mad and perhaps defriend you, point out to them how racist and bigoted they actually are. This seems to drive them crazy. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re strong and confident. We’ll weather the storm.

DETERIORATING RACE RELATIONS UNDER OBAMA

Are there deteriorating race relations under the current president? Absolutely! And who’s to blame? The current president, the current administration, and “the left” in general.

Obama to blame for deteriorating race relations.

Deteriorating race relations in America are this man’s fault!

I’m reviewing an article on aol.com discussing how racist commenters on Fox Cable News attacked Malia Obama after the cable news network ran an article indicating that she would be attending Harvard University after taking a year off from her studies following high school graduation. After the unacceptable comments appeared, FNC did remove the comment section of that article.

Of course, the “tolerant left” is going to call all those who watch Fox News every bad name they can possibly think up. Racist, bigoted, ignorant, low-life, etc. But before I can form an opinion and give my two cents worth, I need to know how many comments were made before FNC removed the comment section and how many of those comments were inappropriate. While the “tolerant left” doesn’t care about facts and statistics, I do.

Remember when former president Jimmy Carter was diagnosed with brain cancer? Fox News ran an article about the diagnosis on its Facebook site. Then, numerous far left websites published articles regarding the hateful vitriolic comments made by those horrible Fox News followers. Well, I found the article. There were approximately 2,000 comments. I took the time to skim about 1,000 of those comments and found only six that were inappropriate. Furthermore, numerous replies were made to those inappropriate comments telling the commenters that they were out of line. Did the “tolerant left” lie? Not really because there were some inappropriate comments. But to accuse those who watch FNC and follow their website and Facebook sites unflattering names is just wrong.

Having said the above, I am noticing more use of the “N” word and other unflattering words when racial issues are being discussed. Why is this when during the Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2 administrations, race relations in the U.S. seemed to be optimal? It’s the democrats aka the “tolerant left.” In order to garner votes for their candidates, the left preys upon blacks and other minorities, telling them that they are still considered second class citizens and haven’t reached their full potential even though it’s been a half century since the Civil Rights Act was signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson. And why haven’t they reached their full potential? It’s because of “whitey.” The white establishment, particularly white conservatives, have kept you down because they are all prejudice. They don’t like people of color so they won’t allow you to succeed.

Race relations have certainly deteriorated since Barak Obama has taken office. Of course, the left will tell you that it’s because the whites, particularly the Republicans are prejudice and can’t stand the thought of having a black president. Well, that’s just BS and the left knows it. Besides the current president of the United States is half white. Want to make a black Democrat mad? Point out to them that you (if you’re white) have the same in common with the president with respect to ethnicity as they do. Black democrats don’t like to hear that.

Barak Obama and the “tolerant left” are 100% to blame for deteriorating race relations in the United States! Barak Obama injects race into everything he possibly can. And even though he’s half white, he always takes the side of the black person or persons, the facts of the situation be damned. And that shouldn’t be surprising to anyone because Democrats don’t care about facts or statistics. All they seem to be able to do is get emotional and accuse Republicans of hating minorities, hating the poor, and hating the current president because he’s black (excuse me, he’s half black).

Barak Obama is constantly denigrating Republicans and blaming them for everything that has gone wrong during his time as president. When, in fact, it’s his own policies and political philosophies that have caused things to do so wrong in this country since his inauguration. Furthermore, anything that the left deems as racist, even though it may not be remotely related to race, is now considered racism. When this president was elected, I fully anticipated that those who didn’t agree with him on the issues and didn’t fall in lockstep with his policies would be considered racist. However, I didn’t anticipate that if you cheered for the Denver Broncos with white quarterback Peyton Manning to beat the Carolina Panthers with black quarterback Cam Newton, you would be considered a racist.

People are fed up with this constant talk of race and ethnicity a half century after the Civil Rights Act of 1964. People are also fed up with those who get their feelings hurt and demand that a safe space be provided to them when they hear something they don’t particularly like. And “safe spaces?” What a crock!

Then there are the demands that all references to the Civil War be removed and erased from history, including the renaming of buildings that were named after Confederate heroes. Also, we can’t teach our children how this great nation was founded because many of the founding fathers owned slaves. This has led to many young people supporting Communist Bernie Sanders for president. And while I have been accused of racism because I don’t eat turnip greens and collards, a young white guy was assaulted by a black female because he wore his hair in dreadlocks.

What is it people, what do you want? I don’t think you know what you want. You’re told by your minority leaders that the Republicans are all prejudice against you when a Republican holds the office of the presidency, even though race relations are always much better when a Republican is president. Then when a Democrat holds the office of the presidency, you’re told by your minority leaders that the reason the Democrat president can’t get you the things you want because of those racist Republicans.

To all minorities out there, as long as you listen to the current president or anyone from the “tolerant left,” you’re will stay frustrated and spend more time bellyaching as to why you’re not achieving. Instead, become an individual and get out there and work for what you want to achieve.

This nation is in bad shape, very bad shape. Race relations, among other things, have been deteriorating to the point that it may take several decades to restore them to where they were before Barak Obama assumed the office of the presidency. Many folks, including me, have individually worked on making race irrelevant except for maybe identification purposes. And it saddens me greatly that one, Barak Obama, and his liberal henchmen have destroyed our work in 7-1/2 years.
