PRESIDENT TRUMP’S REFUGEE EXECUTIVE ORDER

The following is a brief article about President Trump’s Refugee Executive order, illustrating points that the reader should be able to use when having a conversation with if liberal, if it comes to that.

According to National Review, the order does the following:

  • Temporarily halts refugee admissions for 120 days to improve the vetting process.
  • Caps refugee admissions at 50,000 per year.
  • The order imposes a temporary 90-day ban on people entering the U.S. from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. These are countries either torn apart by jihadist violence or under the control of hostile, jihadist governments.
  • The ban is in place while the Department of Homeland Security determines the information needed from any country to adjudicate any visa, admission, or other benefit under the INA in order to determine that the individual seeking the benefit is who the individual claims to be and is not a security or public safety threat.
  • Included in the ban is an important exception that Secretaries of State and Homeland Security may, on a case-by-case basis, and when in the national interest, issue visas or other immigration benefits to nationals of countries for which visas and benefits are otherwise blocked. Hopefully this would allow interpreters and other proven allies to enter the U.S. during the 90-day period.
  • The president’s order also puts an indefinite hold on admission of Syrian refugees to the U.S. until such time as it is determined that sufficient changes have been made to the USRAP to ensure that admission of Syrian refugees is consistent with the national interest. This is largely a return to the order the Obama administration had in place from 2011 to 2014, virtually slamming the door on Syrian refugee admissions.
  • President Trump also issued a directive to “prioritize refugee claims made by individuals on the basis of religious-based persecution, provided that the religion of the individual is a minority religion in the individual’s country of nationality.”

Trump’s Executive Order on Refugees – Separating Fact from Hysteria

According to theconservativetreehouse.com,  there are two aspects to the Trump refugee executive order.

President Trump Releases Statement – U.S. Media Officially Twisted Like Pretzels

  • One aspect pertains to a 120-day pause on Syrian refugees.
  • The second aspect pertains to a 90-day pause on visas for seven countries outlined as “nations of concern” by prior law and Obama’s DHS policy.

Against the reality of President Trump simply following an almost identical refugee pause process as did Barack Obama in 2011, the media are twisting in the wind trying to make Trump into the evil persona they believe he is while maintaining that former President Obama is a saint. Obama put a six month ban on Iraqi refugees in 2011 and the media was silent, while Trump puts a 120-day suspension on Syrian refugees in 2017 and the media explodes. Furthermore, Obama selects seven countries for enhanced visa security policy and the media is silent while President Trump uses the same Obama DHS policy and the same seven countries for a 90-day visa suspension and the media explodes.

According to the New York Times, a growing group of Republican lawmakers criticized the president’s refugee policy. On Sunday, January 29, certain Republicans said the process, while initiated with the right intention, had been too hastily enacted, and warned that it could backfire against U.S. interests. Senators John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, led the criticism, saying in a statement that the president’s order was not properly vetted and that it could be seen as the United States turning its back on Muslims who had risked their lives to serve as interpreters for the country’s military and diplomats.

Growing Number of GOP Lawmakers Criticize Trump’s Refugee Policy

McCain said the plan was carried out without proper consultation of United States allies and that it mistakenly lumped together the country’s adversaries such as Iran, with allies like Iraq. Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee, the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, said that while he supported stronger screening, the order had been poorly implanted, especially for green card holders.

Democrats didn’t waste any time in displaying their dislike of the refugee executive order by showing up in airports across the country. Obviously, these protestors didn’t bother to study the aspects of the order, having only a desire to protest the new president and inconvenience as many travelers as possible. Had there not been protests by Trump haters, carrying on their vows resist anything this president accomplishes, would those who needed to be detained for additional questions been able to get through the process with additional expedience?

One also has to wonder, in the zeal of Chucky Schumer and the Senate Democrats to delay the confirmation of many of the president’s appointees, some items that may have slipped through the cracks in the refugee executive order and other orders could have been prevented.

THE CAMPAIGN ISSUES – WHERE EACH CANDIDATE STANDS (PART THREE)

This will conclude the series where I’m outlining where Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump stand on the issues affecting this nation. Taken from the website, diffen.com.

Trans-Pacific Partnership

Donald Trump: Trump has lambasted all trade deals, including the TPP, saying they weren’t negotiated well and the terms should have been made more favorable to the United States.

Hillary Clinton: Clinton was more measured in her public response to the TPP. When she was Secretary of State, Clinton and her staff worked to finalize and pass the TPP trade agreement.

The Death Penalty

Donald Trump: Supports the death penalty, and advocates mandatory death sentences for those who kill police officers.

Hillary Clinton: Clinton supports the death penalty, but believes it has a place in a very limited number of federal cases.

Syria and ISIS

Donald Trump: Would prefer not to have boots on the ground, and would rather eliminate ISIS main funding by destroying their oil wells, refineries, etc.

Hillary Clinton: Clinton supports a no-fly zone, as well as training Syrian rebels. She is for strong U.S. involvement in fighting ISIS, short of deploying boots on the ground.

Position on Iran

Donald Trump: Trump has said he would reject the Iran nuclear deal and renegotiate it.

Hillary Clinton: In favor of Iran agreement. As Secretary of State, laid the groundwork for sanctions on Iran and negotiations on the agreement.

Position on Afghanistan

Donald Trump: The Afghanistan War was necessary. Maintaining a presence there is necessary because of proximity to nuclear-armed Pakistan. Maintain troop strength to about 5,000 soldiers.

Hillary Clinton: Clinton has said she’d be open to maintaining some troops in Afghanistan as necessary.

Position on TARP

Donald Trump: Trump supported the Wall Street bailout. “Nobody really knows what impact it’s going to have. Maybe it works, and maybe it doesn’t. But certainly it is worth a shot.”

Hillary Clinton: Clinton supported the TARP bailout of financial institutions on Wall Street.

This concludes my three part series on where the Democrat and Republican candidates for President of the United States stand on various issues. I hope you will read and decide which candidate falls within your boundaries. And I hope you have boundaries.

PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE SPEECHES COMPARED

Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, began his acceptance speech stating that we’ll lead our country back to prosperity and peace and that we would be a country of law and order. He further indicated that the Republican convention occurred at a time of crisis for the nation with attacks on police, terrorism in our cities, violence in our streets, and chaos in our communities. Our way of life has been threatened. The above certainly indicates that our country is not a peaceful one.

HillaryTrump

In order to address the above issues, candidate Trump indicated that we needed a straightforward assessment of the state of our nation, and in doing this, we can’t afford to be smothered by political correctness.

Decades of progress made in lowering crime rates have now been reversed by this administration’s rollback of criminal enforcement. Last year homicides increased by 17% in America’s fifty largest cities, the largest increase in 25 years. In Washington D.C. killings have arisen by 50% and are up nearly 70% in Baltimore. In Obama’s hometown of Chicago, more than 2000 have been the victims of shootings this year alone, while more than 3,600 have been killed in the Chicago area since Obama became president.

The number of police officers killed in the line of duty has risen by almost 50%, compared to last year. Nearly 180,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records, ordered deported from this country are roaming free. The number of new illegal immigrant families who have crossed the border so far this year already exceeds the entire total from 2015.

Of course, presidential nomineeHillary Clinton mentioned nothing about the above in her speech except for a small blurb indicating that she wanted to reform our criminal justice system from end to end, and rebuild trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. She wants to reform our criminal justice system, but the current system is the criminal justice system of soon to be ex-President Barak Obama. She’s pledged to continue the policies of Barak Obama and I would assume includes the criminal justice system, which is obviously corrupt, almost always excluding facts if a particular case involves a minority against someone white or a criminal against a law enforcement officer. That’s what liberals advocate. They don’t care about facts or evidence.

Other statistics quoted by Republican presidential nominee Trump include that nearly four in ten African American children are living in poverty while 58% of African American youth are not employed. Two million more Latinos are in poverty today than when Obama took office. Another 14 million Americans have left the workforce entirely. Household incomes are down more than $4000 since the year, 2000. Our manufacturing trade deficit has reached an all-time high. Obama has doubled our national debt to more than 19 million and we have nothing to show for it. Roads and bridges are falling apart. Airports are in third-world condition, and forty-three million Americans are on food stamps. To increase revenue to the federal government, Donald Trump plans to repeal Obamacare and replace it with something less costly and where the quality of healthcare will be higher. He also plans to lower taxes, not only on the middle class, but to cut the corporate tax rate so companies will have less of an incentive to take their operations out of the country.

Hillary states that she and those who are a part of her administration are going to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Isn’t that what Barak Obama was going to do, but his policies failed miserably in that regard? She also states that the economy is so much stronger than when Barak Obama first took office. Obama took office following the crash of 2008. Up until then the economy was doing well. Granted the price of gas had risen. And we all know that if the price of gas rises during a Republican administration, it’s the fault of the Republican president, but if the price of gas rises during a Democrat administration, the president doesn’t have anything to do with gas prices. While yes, the crash occurred under George W. Bush’s watch, the root cause was the social engineering done during the Clinton administration where banks were forced to make high risk loans, so that people who couldn’t afford houses, could now purchase houses. See Wing Nut Gal: Democrat Lies about George W. Bush, Part Three.

There is no economy that will work for everyone. Due to her history and her writings, she favors socialism over our current capitalistic economic system. Capitalism doesn’t work for everyone, but it works for most and produces overall prosperity. Socialism works for no one except for the extreme lower income segment and then produces conditions only slightly above the poverty level for all except the very rich. To achieve her economy which “works for everyone,” she’s going to tax corporations and the super-rich. First of all, define super-rich for us? I believe the way Obama defined it would have a couple, a firefighter and a school teacher in New York City, defined as super-rich. And of course, let’s increase taxes on those evil corporations, corporations who hire people, give people raises, and provide healthcare for those people. Let’s have more and more people losing their jobs so that we can have more and more people on food stamps. In other words, more and more people on the government dole.

Hillary states that Democrats are the party of the working people. NOT TRUE! http://wingnutgal.com/ideology/another-reason-the-democrat-party-is-anti-middle-class/.

Trump went on to indicate that internationally, our citizens have lived through one humiliation after another, such as our sailors being forced to their knees by the Iranian captors at gunpoint, just prior to the signing of Obama’s nuclear deal, which gave back to Iran, $150 billion and gave us nothing resulting in one of the worst deals ever made by the American government. Another humiliation occurred when Obama drew a red line in Syria and the whole world know it meant nothing. In Libya, our consulate was brought down in flames. Trump concluded, like most of us, the world is far less stable since Obama made the decision to put Hillary Clinton in charge of America’s foreign policy.

In 2009, before Hillary, ISIS was not on the map. Libya was cooperating. Egypt was peaceful, and Iraq was seeing a reduction in violence. Iran was being choked by sanctions, Syria was under control. After four years of Hillary Clinton, ISIS has spread across the region and the world. Libya is in ruins, Ambassador Chris Stevens and his staff were left helpless to die at the hands of savage killers. Egypt was turned over to the radical Muslim brotherhood, forcing the military to retake control. Iraq is in chaos. Iran is on the path to nuclear weapons. Syria is engulfed in a civil war. The refugee crisis now threatens the west. The legacy of Hillary Clinton is death, destruction, and weakness.

According to Democrat presidential nominee, Hillary, She’s proud that we have put a lid on Iran’s nuclear program. Ugh! How clueless can you be? She did mention ISIS and her strategy for defeating ISIS will be to strike their sanctuaries from the air, and support local forces taking them out on the ground. We will increase the quality of our intelligence so that we will detect and prevent attacks before they happen. We will disrupt their efforts online to reach and radicalize young people in our country.

No mention of Syria and the refugee crisis, of Libya, and of the four dead in Benghazi, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Not even a mention of the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt and the chaos in Iraq. If she’s elected, it looks like we will have more of the same with Hillary that we had with Obama, the failure to utter the words, “Islamic Terrorism,” the continuous lecturing to the American people to not judge Islam by the actions of a few, and the failure to take the threat of ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups seriously. Instead, will we continue to blame Islamic terrorist attacks that take place on gun violence and call for more gun control laws?

Candidate Trump indicates that he plans to put America first, not globalism. He wants to make our neighborhoods safe, secure our borders, and protect us from terrorism. He will also outline reform to add millions of new jobs and trillions in wealth than can be used to rebuild America. While he doesn’t say how he’s going to do this, I have ascertained that he will increase revenues by decreasing taxes, thus allowing increases in wealth and higher tax revenues to the federal government. When more people have jobs and are prospering, more revenue to the government results.

Whenever Islamic terrorists pull off an attack on American soil, she will lecture us not to judge Muslims on the actions of a few. Subsequently, she will pontificate about gun violence in America and the need for more gun control. I also surmise than conservatives and Christians will somehow be blamed, even if the evidence clearly points to Islamic terrorism.

Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, stated that decades of record immigration have produced lower wages and higher unemployment rates for our citizens, especially for African-American and Latino workers. Thus, he is proposing an immigration system that works for the American people. He has indicated that he will build a wall on the Mexican border to stop illegal immigration and to stop the gangs, violence, and drugs from pouring into our communities. He has further indicated that we will stop, catch, and release on the border and will enforce rules for those who overstay their visas.

Hillary is proposing mass amnesty, mass immigration, and mass lawlessness. Her plan will overwhelm our schools and our hospitals.

Trump went on to indicate in his acceptance speech that he had made billions of dollars in business deals and now he wants to make the country rich again. America has lost nearly one-third of its manufacturing jobs since 1997, following the enactments of NAFTA, signed into law by then President Bill Clinton, and one of the worst economic deals ever made by our country.

Donald also indicated that he wouldn’t let companies move to other countries, firing their employees along the way, without consequences. But, if there’s no incentive for them to stay here, why shouldn’t they move. If he will follow through on his promise to lower the corporate tax rate and make this country a more corporation friendly nation, the migration to foreign safe havens will decrease.

Hillary supported NAFTA and China’s entrance into the World Trade Organization, another mistake. She also supported the job killing trade deal with South Korea and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Donald indicated that he would not sign any trade agreement that hurts our workers or diminishes our freedom and independence.

While Hillary Clinton has proposed a massive tax increase, Donald Trump has proposed the largest tax reduction of any candidate who has declared for the presidential race this year. Middle America will get tax relief and taxes will be simplified for everyone. America is one of the highest taxed nations in the world.

Hillary’s simplistic solution is to tax the super-rich and the evil corporation. Guess she doesn’t care how many Americans lose their jobs, don’t get raises, or have their benefits either reduced or eliminated altogether.

Excessive regulation is one of the greatest job killers according to Donald Trump, costing our country as much as $2 trillion a year. Donald has indicated that he will lift the restrictions on the production energy.

Hillary wants to put coal miners and steel workers out of work, but Donald Trump has so indicated that won’t happen. She’s said this time and time again, even before accepting the Democrat party’s nomination for president. She said in her speech that the Democrat party is for working Americans. To this, I’ve always said BS and will continue to say BS!

Hillary spent much time during her acceptance speech trying to humanize herself, talking about her marriage to Bill, her role as a parent, and her role as a grandmother. She also discussed this nation’s founding fathers, as did Barak Obama in his speech to the Democrat convention delegates and attendees. What gives? I didn’t think we could talk about the founding fathers because they owned slaves. Furthermore, didn’t Obama once say that there were so many things that he would like to impose upon this country and its citizens were it not for the constitution?

She also spent time ripping Donald Trump to shreds. She accused him of calling women pigs. The only time I heard him refer to women as pigs was when he was talking about Rosie O’Donnell. Well, if the shoe fits?

I’ve said this over and over again, “Donald Trump was not my first choice for Republican nominee for president of the United States.” The truth is, however, that we can’t afford another four years or eight years of Barak Obama policies. The current president has almost destroyed the United States of America. With four to eight years of Hillary Clinton, this once great nation will be history. We can’t let that happen. We must take back our country, take it back from those who seek to destroy it. We must create prosperity. This will not happen if we continue to punish those who have made this country great, the private sector job creators and the folks who fill those jobs and work their fingers to the bone in order to succeed and provide good lives for themselves and their families.

While mentioning this country’s founding fathers in their convention speeches, Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton have failed to grasp the principles on which this country was founded, less government intrusion into our lives, and the freedom to succeed according to our goals and desires.

Donald Trump and his campaign has taken a lot of heat from liberals because, according to them, he gave a negative speech, and indicated that he wanted to make this country great again. Yes, he did point to areas where this president has made things worse, and that’s in just about every area of the federal government. Whereas, Hillary’s speech was all rosy with puppies and unicorns. Plus, she listed all the freebies she’s going to give out; such as free, single payer healthcare, college tuition, the guarantee of a good paying job for everyone. Socialist utopia? Isn’t that par for the course? The opposition party points out negatives and how he or she will make things better; whereas, the party in power points out the positives of the administration.

If we elect Hillary Clinton to the presidency, we can kiss the freedoms we once enjoyed as Americans good-bye. With Donald Trump, I see a vision of making American great again. Yes, the United States of America is still the greatest country on earth, but our way of life has taken tremendous hits under the administration of Barak Obama. This must change. Voting for Hillary Clinton or one of the minor candidates, or even staying at home on Election Day is a vote for the demise of the United States of America. Is this what you want?

2016, A PRESIDENTAL ELECTION YEAR…THOUGHTS

Monday, January 4, 2016, the first workday of the new year began with a bang. The stock market in China collapsed, causing the Dow, here in the U.S. to drop also. As a result, we’re all a little poorer to begin 2016, an important presidential election year.

An important presidential election year? It seems like every presidential election is more important than any of the previous presidential elections.

That’s so true and the 2016 presidential election is certainly no exception. When the current president was running for re-election in 2012, conservative friends and I felt that the United States could not possibly survive another four years of far left leadership.

Well, here we are, having survived three additional years of far left leadership. Yes, we’ve survived, but how are we actually doing?

Those of us who have to purchase insurance from the Obamacare market place have seen our insurance premiums sky-rocket to the point that we have had to make substantial changes in our life styles. We’ve had to cut back on restaurant meals, travel, clothes, etc. As such, we’re not pumping as much money into the economy. Most of us are holding our collective breaths that we don’t have something catastrophic happen to us because our deductibles are so high that we’re sure to take a hit financially, if called upon to pay that deductible. In fact, health insurance may cause some of us small business owners to have to go back to work just to have health insurance.

Right before our eyes, an evil terrorist group, ISIS, took over the countries of Syria and Iraq as the current president, against the advice of his military advisors pulled American troops out of Iraq. Then the current president called ISIS, JV. The fact is they are the most evil organization on the planet. ISIS has a presence in the United States and has promised to carry out attacks on American soil, killing as many Americans as they can. And what does the current president do? Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Gun Control is trending at the moment with the current president who plans to sign executive orders with provisions, according to al.com as follows:

  • Close gun show loophole
  • Close loophole related to trust and corporate purchases
  • State participation
  • Streamline background check system
  • Lost or stolen guns
  • Mental health services
  • Gun technology
  • Increased personnel, other measures

The second amendment to the Constitution of the United gives Americans the right to own and bear firearms. This amendment was put in by our founding fathers in order that Americans would be able to protect themselves from criminality and tyrannical government, the type of government we live under with the current administration. Furthermore, the current president is not a dictator, though he sure acts the part. He is violating the provisions of the Constitution with his executive orders and should be impeached. And none of what he is doing would have kept the recent gun violence incidents from taking place.

The Republicans still have a plethora of candidates seeking the party’s nomination for president. How it eventually shakes out is anyone’s guess. On the other side, Hillary Clinton will most likely be the nominee for Democrat party. Sadly, there are folks out there who will vote for her. Which Republican candidate(s) will be able to beat her? Sadly, we don’t know if any of them can.

The job market has still not recovered and while unemployment figures are down, many people have simply given up looking for work. Liberals are telling us to accept this as the new norm, which is typical “liberal speak.”

Foreign policy by the president has been a disaster.

We’ve turned our backs on our allies, especially Israel. God has said that he will punish those who turn their backs on his people, Israel. In an article dated October 2012 in shelbystar.com, the author cites Bill Koenig, author of “Eye to Eye” where Mr. Koenig points out that hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and even terrorist attacks have hit American often within 24 hours of calls by U.S. officials for Israel to withdraw from Jewish land.

Hurricane Katrina struck when George Bush forced Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza. Just days after Obama insisted Israel must give up lands it won through military victory with its enemies, some 200 people were killed by a tornado in Joplin, Missouri. Koenig goes on to point out that six of the seven costliest hurricanes in U.S. history followed calls by U.S. officials for Israel to make land concessions in bids for peace with its neighbors, and three of the four largest tornado outbreaks followed such calls.

I truly believe that as Obama continues to widen the gap between Israel and the United States, while seeking to appease those countries which sponsor Islamic terrorism, we will continue to see more natural disasters here in the United States. Of course the liberals will say this is a result of man-made climate change and blame it on Congressional Republicans and Fox News.

Of course, any liberal who reads what I just wrote will be calling me a crazy and other things, though I doubt I will be called anything that I haven’t been already called by the left.

As I conclude my second post of 2016, I’m wondering if we can survive another year of this administration. What is our country going to look like in one year? Will I still be writing articles for this blog in one year? How many more Islamic terrorist attacks will be have taken place on American soil and will the current president continue to tell us not to judge all Muslims by the actions of an isolated few, while blaming all southern white conservative Christians, George Bush, the Confederate flag, and Fox News for incidents of gun violence that may take place or probably will take place?

THE EVIL IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL

If there was ever a doubt in your mind that the sole purpose of the Obama presidency is to destroy the United States of America as we know it, the Iran nuclear deal should convince anyone that operates even on one brain cell. That includes you, liberals.

In a speech in early August, the current president of the United States compared those critical of the Iran deal to the hard liners of Iran. It seems as though the president has discontinued the blaming of George W. Bush for his administration’s debacles; instead, he is blaming racism.

The president and the secretary of state of conceded that Iran would use the cash from the lifting of the sanctions to pay for new terrorism everywhere. This deal with radical and unrepentant Islamists is a deal just short of a suicide pact.

The current president has his Iran nuclear deal, composed of equal parts: hope, abject submission to those who wish America only ill, and subterfuge to keep the details from the people in whose name he acts.

The Iranian deal ignores the nature of the Iranian regime. Iran’s politically strategy is not one of reciprocity; or respect. Instead, Iran focuses on the physical and ideological expansion of Khomeinism throughout the Middle East. This expansion will receive a huge cash infusion which, as I indicated above, will be spent on expanding terrorism throughout the area.

Iran fought hard to insure that it can maximize the bureaucratic obstacles facing inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The president has admitted Iran’s success in that regard, indicating the IAEA will have access where necessary, when necessary. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Iran will certainly continue its covert weaponization research and when the IAEA requests inspections at those sites, Iran will delay the inspections while it hides the evidence of its activities. Then the IAEA will be allowed to conduct its inspections. Russia and China will say that Iran is living up to its agreement and should not face reinstatement of the sanctions.
According to National Review, the most critical of all is what this deal means for the balance of power in the Middle East. The Sunni Arab monarchies will look on this deal as Iran’s coronation as the regional superpower. Already perceiving themselves surrounded by Iran, the monarchies are not liable to loosen their restrictions on support for Salafi-jihadist groups such as al-Qaeda, in a desperate effort to check Iranian theological power.

When the deal was completed, Iran was supposed to be running low on uranium. Now the rogue nation just happened to find a uranium stash. Anyone surprised?

The following are some other reasons why this is a bad deal for the United States and the planet in general. I once said that ACA/Obamacare was the worst thing ever wrought on the American people by the government. I may have been wrong. The worst thing wrought on the American people by its government is surely the Iran nuclear deal.

  • Though the deal was originally being negotiated to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, in its final form, the agreement would allow just than when it sunsets in ten to fifteen years.
  • The deal will accelerate regional nuclear proliferation. Saudi leaders, for instance, have said that this deal is worse than the nuclear pact former President Bill Clinton made with North Korea.
  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this deal will give Iran hundreds of billions of dollars to fuel their terror and military regime.
  • Sanctions relief isn’t tied to Iran complying with the deal, meaning Iran gets massive amounts of relief before they’ve demonstrated strict adherence.
  • And the money can’t be taken back once Iran gets it.
  • That relief can and will be used to expand Iran’s malign and destabilizing influence in the region that has exacerbated sectarian conflict.
  • The money can and will be used to further fund Iran’s terrorist proxies like Hamas, Hazboliah, Assad, and Houthis in Yemen.
  • Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said that Iran will not change its American policy.
  • To enforce the deal, would powers must first know if Iran violated the deal, but that is an unclear process that can be delayed for weeks while Iran would be able to hide and obfuscate banned activities.
  • Iran doesn’t have to come clean on its past nuclear activity, leaving world powers this ability to verify future illegal advances.
  • Iran’s foreign minister interprets the deal very differently than the Obama Administration does.
  • He (Iran’s foreign minister) believes that the scale of foreign investments would effectively prevent the world from re-imposing sanctions on Iran, making the snapback provision of the deal effectively meaningless.
  • He (Iran’s foreign minister) said that Iran could deny inspectors access to nuclear and military sites under the deal.
  • He (Iran’s foreign minister) said that if Iran would not be violating the deal if it broke the UN resolution prohibiting the purchase of conventional arms and missiles because the arms embargo is implicitly out of the scope of the nuclear agreement.
  • Even is Iran adheres to the arms embargo, the embargo is lifted in 5 years giving Iran access not only to conventional arms to further fuel terrorism and their drive for regional dominancy.
  • In 8 years, the missile ban will be removed, allowing Iran to acquire missiles that could cary nuclear payloads.
  • The Obama Administration pushed for the UN to vote on the deal in an attempt to jam Americans and their elected representatives before they’ve even had a chance to review the deal.
  • Iran will be allowed to conduct advanced research and development that will pave the way for centrifuges that are modern and efficient. They will be able to enrich huge amounts of Uranium that will shorten their breakout time for a bomb.
  • The deal also provides sanctions relief to Iranian military leader Qasem Soleimani, leader of the elite Quds force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, who is a designated terrorist who is responsible for the deaths of at least 500 U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan
  • The deal lifts sanctions on two Iranian atomic scientists who worked on Iran’s illegal nuclear program and a nuclear proliferator who has previously helped smuggle nuclear components.
  • The murderous Syrian President Bashar al-Assad called this deal a great victory and congratulated Iran on their achievement.

The above 21 reasons that the Iran nuclear deal is a bad one are courtesy of Kevin McCarthy House Majority Leader. http://www.majorityleader.gov.
