Yesterday, November 9, 2017, the Washington Post ran a story where a woman claims that Alabama Senate candidate, Roy Moore, a Republican, initiated a sexual encounter with her when she was fourteen and he was thirty-two. The woman’s name is Leigh Corfman. Three other women interviewed by the Washington Post in recent weeks say that candidate Moore pursued them when they were between the ages of sixteen and eighteen, but none of these women say that Moore forced them into any sort of relationship or sexual contact.

The senatorial candidate has denied the allegations and alleges this is a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the left-leaning Washington Post.

As soon as I read this, I knew the candidate’s haters were going to come out of the woodwork. Even though Alabama is a Republican/conservative stronghold, liberals do live here and yes, they are liars, hypocrites, haters, and bigots in the same manner as Democrats throughout the nation.

Let’s assume first that Judge Moore did commit this heinous act. Everyone except a few “fringe” believe that the candidate should step down. Someone with this type of character and past does not belong in the United States Senate, or any public service capacity for that matter.

I’m a Christian which means I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who suffered and died, taking on my sins and the sins of the world, and was resurrected from the dead, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, Almighty. According to one of my Bible Study teachers, it doesn’t mean that I don’t sin, but it means that I hopefully sin less.

As a committed conservative and yes, Republican, I’ve often thought about what I would do if faced with the choice of choosing to vote for a candidate who shared my political views, but who was severely lacking in character, or choosing one who was diametrically opposite to me regarding current political issues. Judge Moore’s opponent, Doug Jones, is a liberal Democrat who aligns with the DNC on all issues, including abortion and believes that a woman has the right to kill her unborn baby right up until the time of birth. Once the baby has traveled through the birth canal, he’s an advocate for that baby’s life, but not before.  His values are not my values, and I believe having him in the Senate could jeopardize the Trump presidency and subvert the path we’re currently on for making America great again.

The election of Doug Jones will narrow the Republican Senate majority. Then Senate has already killed the repeal and replace of Obamacare and threatens to kill much needed tax reform. These huge pieces of legislation have direct effects on every man, woman, and child in this country. Without these reforms many, many Americans will be damaged extensively. Having Doug Jones in the Senate spell disaster for the American people.

I don’t’ know. I can’t possibly solve this issue myself. At times like this, I need the Bible, I need Jesus, I need direction that can only come from God. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of heaven.” God is in control, and God will give you direction if you sincerely ask for that direction and have it in your heart to follow his direction. I need God and so do you.

Having said the above with all sincerity, I’m now flipping to the facts. Judge Roy Moore has been accused of having inappropriate behavior with a fourteen-year-old girl in 1979. He denies the allegations. It’s the Judge’s word against that of the Washington Post and the alleged victim. Will we know the truth before election day, December 12? Probably not, since there’s so little time left.

In the United States of American you are innocent until proven guilty, unless you are a conservative and one who disagrees with the ideology of liberalism. If the left thinks you’re guilty, you’re guilty. Even if the left thinks you’re not guilty, but wants you to be guilty, you are still guilty.

The left has rushed to judgement many times, and has been wrong most of those times. Treyvon Martin, “hands up, don’t shoot,” Michael Brown, the Duke Lacrosse team members, the Cambridge police, Freddie Gray, Richard Jewel, etc. all serve as examples of the left being wrong. In their rush to judgement, the left has ruined the lives of many. If the allegations against Judge Moore and true, then he deserves to live the rest of his life out as a miserable old man who hopefully will  repent and get his heart in the right place. If the allegations are not true, he deserves a shot at becoming a Senator from Alabama and continuing his career of public service.

The Democrats, though, are going to do their best to disparage Judge Roy Moore and ruin his life, even if he is exonerated. Do the Democrats care if they ruin someone’s life, even if ruining a life is unjustified? Of course not. They’re all about hate and the ruining of lives, especially those who do not toe their leftist line.

In addition to the accusation against Judge Moore, not, at present provable, the timing of the Washington Post article is questionable. Roy Moore has been in the public light many times before his current run for the Senate. Why have these allegations not come out sooner? Ms. Corfman claims that she was scared to come out with her story until now? Until now, just before a very big Senate race that could play a large role in shaping the future of the United States?  Until now, when this country is more ideologically divided than ever, and a sitting president is the target of more hate and vitriol than any of us have ever witnessed in our lifetimes, she decides to tell her story?

In addition to Ms. Corfman, two other women have stated that candidate Moore pursued them romantically when they were teenagers and Moore was thirty. These women, unlike Ms. Corfman indicated that no inappropriate touching was involved when they were on dates with the Judge. One of these women is Debbie Wesson Gibson who says she was seventeen when Moore romantically pursued her. Ms. Gibson is a Democrat and a supporter of Doug Jones. Her picture with former Vice President Joe Biden is currently making the social media rounds. This picture was taken a few weeks ago when the Vice President was in Birmingham stumping for Democrat candidate, Doug Jones. Now, allegations, a month before the election, are being circulated about Roy Moore. How did this come together, all wrapped up in a neat little package?

The story here is that Democrats are liars who have no remorse about lying to get what they want. If those lies are determined to be lies in the weeks and months ahead, who cares, as long as their desired results are achieved. Do they care if their prize was predicated on lies? Of course not, Democrats have no sense of decency. Do they care if their lies ruin the lives of others? They don’t.

Are we still living in the “land of the free and the home of the brave?”



When I was very young, much too young to understand the workings of government, I know my country, the United States of America, had a President. I can’t remember how this conversation got started, but Mama, Daddy, and I had a talk about the President of the United States and the powers he has as President.

Mama and Daddy were quick to point out to me that the president was not all powerful and could not do anything he wanted as president. To get something done, he had to go through Congress (the Senate and the House of Representatives). Congress had to vote on and approve bills that the president wanted passed. From this long ago conversation, I gleaned that the president didn’t have much power at all, instead, he was charged with the responsibility of enforcing the laws that Congress passes.

I later, in school, learned about the separation of powers, the three branches of government, and the principle of checks and balances. The above were put in place by our founding fathers in order to preserve our republic and not allow us to evolve into a totalitarian state.

Being a baby boomer, I readily admit that I have taken our freedoms in the United States of America for granted. I grew up with the following:

  • Free, open elections of our political officials.
  • Freedom of speech to criticize our elected and appointed officials through different mediums.
  • Freedom to travel anywhere in this country and abroad.
  • A free and independent press to hold our government officials accountable.
  • Freedom of religion to worship as we saw fit or not to worship at all.
  • The freedom to pursue happiness and success.

We enjoyed these freedoms for so many years because no one particular person was in charge. The president was deemed the most important person in our governmental structure, but there were limits in what he could do fostered by a three-branched government and the system of checks and balances. Plus, there was that document called the U.S. Constitution that gives powers to the states that are not specifically outlined in the Constitution.

Sure, presidents have always had the power to implement their desires through executive orders. Some have used them more than others, but presidents in the past seemed to use them for more mundane things and the executive orders have not affected our day to day lives. Fast forward to today where we have a president who has indicated that he would go around Congress to put into place anything he wanted to implement. He says he’s doing things that he feels are right for this country, but he knows that Congress won’t pass these things.

This is not the way this country was set up to function. But this president’s followers seem to be mesmerized by him and think anything he does is wonderful. Plus, the press is on his side, not free and independent. Of course, the press has been in the tank for the left for decades.

According to teaparty.org in an article dated March 5, 2015, Obama publicly announced his supreme authoritative dictatorship. Confirming what I said above, our Founding Fathers purposely established a three branch government so that no one person or group of people would end up with absolute power. To pass a new law, it would take both the House of Representatives and the Senate to pass the same bill and then it has to be signed into law by the President.

The current president has repeatedly taken it upon himself to declare law, eliminate law, and change law without going through Congress as required by the U.S. Constitution. He took it upon himself to instruct the Department of Justice to stop enforcing the Defense of Marriage Act and what immigration laws he wanted ignored and which ones to obey, among others.

Obama has also bypassed Congress and decided to change the federal welfare laws in an obvious attempt to buy votes among America’s poor. In a move that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich refers to as illegal, the current president has taken action to completely gut the work requirement from the Welfare Reform Act that was passed in 1996 and signed into law by former President Bill Clinton.

Obama has continued to act without the consent of Congress. Congress froze all federal aid to Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government because of their terrorist activities and inhumane treat of the Egyptian people. Without any congressional approval or court order, Obama took it upon himself to release millions of dollars in money and weapons, including a number of fighter jets to the terrorist regime. Remember, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood has called the United States an enemy like Israel that needs to be destroyed. That constitutes treason according to the U.S. Constitution.

Obama has also used a number of executive orders that would allow him to take over every form of communication, banking, and commerce in the declaration of an alleged national emergency. Furthermore, Internet regulations were established that would also give Obama complete control of the Internet if he wanted it.

Notice that Obama did not say that what he is doing is legal, but just the right thing to do according to him. He defies Congress to try and stop him from doing anything they believe is illegal.

By all of the above, he has established himself as a dictator, a king, a monarch. How could this have happened in a country where all precautions were taken to insure that something like this wouldn’t happen? President Ronald Reagan, in one of him most famous quotes once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spending our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

I wake up every morning wondering what Barack Obama is going to do today to further destroy the United States of America. With zombie-like low information followers who literally worship him and have ceded to him the power to control their lives because they view him as some sort of messiah, plus a main stream media who will not hold him accountable, we have not protected the freedoms our Founding Fathers established for us.

At this point, what can we do to preserve and protect our country? We’ve allowed an evil man to take control of our country. That evil man promised us hope and change. That evil man said he wanted to fundamentally transform the United States of America. Because folks were dissatisfied with the current administration, without stopping to think, they bought into this silver-tongued charlatan’s vile message and elected him not once, but twice.

What do we do now? What do we do now? When you think you have nowhere to go, think again. You do have somewhere to go; go to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray to him every night and every morning, and many times during the day to have mercy on the United States of America. Take everything to God in prayer. God is our refuge in perilous times. He will take care of his children.



I’m going to take a break from discussing socials issues and showcasing the fallacies of liberalism to take a shot at the Trans Pacific Partnership. In my opinion, this is the most important issue taking place at this time. If passed, it could be the beginning of the end of American sovereignty where we have given away certain rights of governance we have taken for granted for years.

The President and trade representatives have been negotiation the Trans Pacific Partnership. Currently, it is comprised of twelve nations. It has been called NAFTA on steroids. Anytime in the future, nations can be added without the permission of the United States.

The TPP is twenty-nine chapters long and sits in the basement of the Capitol. It can only be reviewed by going to the basement and taking notes. However, the notes have to be left there. No one who reviews the document can take his or her notes with him to review in his or her office later.

One of the sections states that if a multi-national company makes an investment and feels there is a regulation in the treat that keeps them from making their projected profit; that company can sue. As a result of this, we’ve just put foreign courts ahead of our American courts. Also, any country that has a written food statement who imports food into the United States doesn’t have to meet U.S. safety food standards and there will be no labeling. There are also sections on immigration and climate change built into the TPP, but no chapters on human rights. This could subject Americans to all sorts of changes regarding immigration and climate change where Congressional approval you not be necessary. With no human rights sections, products made from slave labor could be imported into the United States.

The United States Constitution was written specifically to insure that Congress was involved in trade agreements.

Here’s where things get a little complicated, but as citizens, we must be familiar with this. Our very existence could depend on it.

Separate from the TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) is the TPA (Trade Promotion Authority), TPA will allow the president to begin negotiations on the TPP. The TPA is not a treaty, it is a trade agreement whereas, the TPP is a treaty. The TPA must be passed before negotiations on the TPP can begin.

According to fas.org, TPA is the process Congress has made available to the President to enable legislation to approve and implement certain international trade agreements to be considered under expedited legislative procedures for limited periods, provided the President observes certain statutory obligations. TPA defines how Congress has chosen to exercise its constitutional authority over a particular aspect of trade policy, while giving the President added leverage to negotiate trade agreements by effectively assuring U.S. trade partners that final agreements will be given timely and unamended consideration.

The other legislation thrown in is the TAA. Because trade agreements with underdeveloped countries often leads to job losses in the U.S., as jobs get moved overseas, the TAA consists of a list of measures designed to help workers who lose their jobs because of the treaty.

Last week the House shot down the TAA, but passed the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) with 28 Democrats and 50 Republicans voting in favor of the bill. The vote was 218-208. This opens the door to the President negotiating the Trans Pacific Partnership. It’s now up to the Senate to pass it and all indications are that the Senate will pass it with the required sixty votes. Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell is pushing this.

Senator Jeff Sessions, Republican from Alabama is against the passage of the TPA and the following are some concerns from his website.

  • Consolidation of Power in the Executive Branch. TPA eliminates Congress’ ability to amend of debate trade implementing legislation and guarantees an up or down vote on a far-reaching international agreement before that agreement has received any public view. Congress will have given up the 67 vote threshold for a treaty and the 60 vote threshold for important legislation. It will also have given up the opportunity for amendments and the committee review process that booth ensure member participation. This applies not only to the Trans Pacific Partnership, but to all international trade agreements during the life of the TPA. Even though the President is required to submit a report to Congress on the terms of a trade agreement at least 60 days before submitting implementing legislation, the President can classify or otherwise redact information from the report, limiting its value to Congress.
  • Increased Trade Deficits. Barclays estimates that during the first quarter of this year, the overall U.S. trade deficit will reduce economic growth by .2 percent. Labor economist Clyde Prestowitz attributes 60 percent of the United States’ 5.7 manufacturing jobs lost over the last decade to import-driven imbalances. Job loss by workers means reduced consumer demand, less tax revenue flowing into the Treasury, and greater reliance on government assistance programs. Also, the lack of protections in TPA against foreign subsidies could accelerate our shrinking domestic manufacturing base.
  • Ceding Sovereign Authority to International Powers. A USTR outline of TPP which TPA would expedite, notes in the “Key Features” summary that the TPP is a “living agreement.” This means the President could update the agreement as appropriate to address trade issues that emerge in the future as well as new issues that arise with the expansion of the agreement to include new countries. Furthermore, this means that participating nations could both add countries to the TPP without the approval of Congress. Also, any terms of the agreement could be changed, including in controversial areas such as the entry of foreign workers and foreign employees. Again, these changes would not be subject to congressional approval. This has far-reaching implications. The Congressional Research Service reports that if the United States signs on to an international trade agreement, the implementing legislation of that trade agreement would supersede conflicting federal, state, and local laws. When this occurs, the U.S. workers may; be subject to a sudden change in tariffs, regulations, or dispute resolution proceedings in international tribunals outside the U.S.
  • Currency Manipulation. The biggest open secret in the international market is that other countries are devaluing their currencies to artificially lower the price of their exports while artificially raising the price of our exports to them. The result has been a massive bleeding of domestic manufacturing wealth. In fact, currency manipulation can easily dwarf tariffs in its economic impact. History suggests that this Administration, like those before it, will not stand up to improper currency practices. Currency protections are currently absent from the TPA indicating again that those involved in pushing these trade deals do not wish to see these currency abuses corrected.
    • Immigration Increases. There are numerous ways TPA could facilitate immigration increases above current law—and few ways anyone in Congress could stop its happening. For instance, language could be included or added into the TPP, as well as any future trade deal submitted for fast-track consideration in the next 7 years, with the clear intent to facilitate of enable the movement of foreign workers and employees into the united States and there would be no capacity for lawmakers to strike the offending provision. The administration could also simply act on its own to negotiate foreign worker increases with foreign trading partners without ever advertising those plans to Congress.

TPA is a true bi-partisan issue, and I hope you can see the need to investigate it. It sounds dangerous to me and with the Senate probably passing it, we could be one major step toward one world government.



No sooner than the last votes were counted and the results were in from the November 4, 2014 mid-term elections, the current president of the United States let everyone know that he doesn’t give a rip about the United States of America nor does he give a rip about the citizens of the United States of America. His purpose as the president of the United States is to take this country down, to destroy this country. Yes, I said destroy this country. His intent was never to make this country more prosperous.

How can I possibly say this, you may ask? Well, just look at the policies that he and his Democrat henchmen have crammed down our throats. Obamacare is certainly not making America a more prosperous nation. People are going to be paying substantially more for health care and get less. While the stock market is up and my portfolio is a little bigger, it’s probably going to take that increase in my wealth to pay for my health insurance. Of course having to pay more for health insurance is going to make it necessary that I cut back on other things like going out to eat, taking trips, and going to concerts, etc. The restaurants won’t take in as much money; the hotels won’t take in as much money, and so on. It will have a trickledown effect.  When millions of people are in the same boat, this will certainly affect our economy. Furthermore, granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who are breaking the law just by being in this country illegally will make certain areas very dangerous to live in, drive through, and work in. Furthermore, these folks will be competing with real American citizens for jobs. Not everybody will be able to get a job, thus, increasing amounts will be distributed for unemployment, welfare, food stamps, healthcare, etc. I could write a lot more, but won’t because the above is not the purpose of this post. The above is to demonstrate how the current president hates the United States of America and its citizens.

I heard someone on the news earlier say that what just happened to the current president hasn’t sunk in yet. Well, I disagree. I believe that the current president knows just what has happened to him. He is trying to minimize it by saying that because voter turnout was low and many in his base failed to make the effort to vote, that the American people still love him and his policies. I wonder who came up with that spin?

In addition to his life-long hatred of Republicans, he is also mad and Senate and House Democrats who were up for re-election and tried to distance themselves from him as they campaigned for re-election. Furthermore, he is angry at his base that didn’t bother to vote. So, this president is very angry and the United States of America.

Like I said in my previous post, this president didn’t lose his pen nor his phone and I have no doubt that he will continue to implement toxic policies via executive orders just to spite everyone. If there are any of you out there who believe that this president is going to make an effort to work with Congress , I have some swamp land in Louisiana that you might be interested in.  He’s going to veto every piece of legislation that is sent to him. Perhaps with a few pieces, sixty-seven votes might be garnered in the Senate to override a presidential veto, but that’s going to be difficult.

The president has never taken responsibility for his mistakes, always blaming them on someone else; and this is not going to change either. Everything will be the fault of the Republicans and the press will still be in lockstep with this president all the way.

One might say that I’m upset with the election results. I most certainly am not. I’m ecstatic about the results. My prayers were answered. But we have to realize that just because Republicans/conservatives have been elected doesn’t mean that we, as private citizens can sit back and say, “Okay, the Republicans are in the majority, our country is saved.” We should all take some actions to combat what is going to be said by this president, by Nancy Pelosi, by Harry Reid, by prominent liberals, and by the press. We’re going to have to take on arguments and present our side in a respectable manner. One of the things that we all can do is visit some of these liberal websites such as salon.com, slate.com, motherjones.com, huffingtonpost.com, etc. and post comments. I know most of these sites will make you create a username, password, and give them your email address. Do it! If you don’t want to give them your main email address and I suggest that you don’t, get a freebie email address from Google, Yahoo, or some other entity that offers free emails. That’s what I intend to do. When taking on liberals, it has been my experience that they don’t read what you write and start calling you names and accusing you of things that don’t even relate to what you are posting. DON’T PUT UP WITH THAT! Tell them that you will be happy to have a reasonable online conversation with them, but you won’t put up with their shrill antics. You’re much too good for that.

I hope each and every one of you will consider taking actions such as the one that I have suggested above. And by all means, please don’t stop praying for our country. All gifts come from our Heavenly Father. Without him, none of us are capable of anything.



It was definitely a “heady” night for Republicans after retaining a majority in the House of Representatives and taking control of the Senate. We’re already witnessing the whining of Democrats claiming voter suppression. I’m sure there will be additional whining to come. And I’m going to make a list. I’m also going to make a list of every time the current president blames the Republicans for something.

As I said in a Facebook post last night, the political winds have shifted and the American people have spoken. And yes, it was a referendum on the current president’s policies. I don’t care what anybody else says. This president has done everything possible to shred the U.S. Constitution and fundamentally transform America into a socialist totalitarian state; a state where the government desires to control as many aspects of your life as possible. The Democrats want to control what you eat, what you drive, your thermostat setting, your news, etc.

While this president indicated that Congress was a do nothing Congress and that the Republicans were nothing but obstructionists, the Republican Congress passed many pieces of legislation and sent to the Democrat controlled Senate where Harry Reid just let the proposed pieces of legislation die, not even sending them out to committees. That was much underpublicized and, of course, low information voters believed that the House Republicans weren’t doing anything. I wonder if there is a list of the pieces of legislation that the House sent to the Senate in which Harry Reid just let die. I may have to do a little research on that.

This “go-round” legislation should be acted on, voted on, and sent to the current president for his signature or veto. And this needs to be publicized. Of course I know that CNN, MSNBC, and the networks are not going to want to cover these things, but get it the old college try. Send a bill to repeal Obamacare to the president’s desk and let him veto it. Obamacare is unpopular and Americans want it repealed. So, do it! And don’t hesitate to use all of the legislative tricks that the Democrats used to force Obamacare down our throats. By them doing it first, they gave you license to do it. And if they start whining, just get right back in their faces.

Even though the current president was stripped of a lot of his support, I’m sure he still has that pen and that phone. Knowing what he was put in power to do, severely weaken the United States of America and its citizenry, he’s going to use that pen and phone to enact some of the most egregious policies that you’ve ever seen. He’s said many times that he would go around Congress, if that’s what it took, to enact his policies that would lead to his vision for America.

You might say, well, what good came out of last night’s election? A lot of good came out of last night’s results. The American people let this president know that they don’t like his policies and want them repealed. At best Congress can refuse to fund a lot of his stuff and render it useless. There will, though, be bad publicity. Remember the Democrats have CNN, MSNBC, and the networks. Republican are going to continue to be demonized.

The Republicans have to make sure that they get their message out and they must be assertive and not be scared of being called names. Also, as citizens, we have to take the responsibility to be informed voters and not jump to conclusions at first blush. Do some research, don’t let anyone tell you what to think and how to vote. This country was founded on rugged individualism. So, be rugged individuals and don’t forget to continue to hold your elected officials accountable. It was the intent of our founding fathers that we continually question the government and make sure that the government works for we the people and not the other way around.
