I just finished listening to the Barak Obama’s speech that he gave in Orlando yesterday. And never in my entire life have I been so enraged at the president of the United States. The speech was wrong, so wrong. It was abominable. Up until Barak Obama assumed the office of the President of the United States, I felt safe and secure from attacks from foreign enemies. Now I don’t. Even in my central Alabama/Birmingham area bedroom community of Pelham, I don’t feel safe.

The root cause of the Orlando mass shooting is Islamic Terrorism.  The shooting was carried out by an individual with ties to ISIS. One of the caveats of Islam is to put homosexuals to death. The shooting took place in a downtown Orlando nightclub whose patrons are primarily members of the LGBT community.

To stop the scourge of similar attacks on America soil, we must go after ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups and destroy them.

We must cut off the head of the snakes. But no, the current president and his liberal henchmen are suggesting that we, here in the United States, are responsible for this tragedy due to our gun control policies.

According to Rush Limbaugh (and I know you liberals hate him), after the Orlando shooting, Obama said, “ISIL is under more pressure than ever before. ISIL continues to lose ground in Iraq. All told, ISIL has now lost nearly half the populated territory it once controlled in Iraq, and will lose more.” The CIA director today says they’re bigger than ever, they’re stronger than ever, they’re stealthier than ever, and they’re getting into this country in greater numbers than ever.

In the speech, the current president spent about six minutes of the eighteen minute speech talking about how the victims were members of the LGBT community, and emphasized that the LGBT community had been subjected to much hatred from other Americans and that we needed to come together as Americans. And that maybe well and true. However, the alleged hatred of the LGBT community by church going, choir singing hypocrites, and they do exist, was not the cause of the Orlando shooting. The Orlando shooting was carried out by a person of Afghan descent who was connected to ISIS and the religion of Islam calls for the killing of gay individuals. That church going, choir singing hypocrite had nothing to do with the Orlando shooting.

And again, this president seems clueless as to the root cause of the Orlando shooting.

Or is he? I don’t think he’s clueless at all. He knows what he’s doing. He continues to lecture the American people to not judge all Muslims by the actions of a few. But yet, after the shooting in Charleston where the perpetrator was seen in a photo with a Confederate battle flag, anyone who owns any depiction of the Confederate battle flag, whether it is a large flag to display atop a flag pole or a mere belt buckle, is labeled a racist and a hater.

Barak Obama, you are an evil man. You’re not stupid. If you were merely stupid, there might be a chance that you could be convinced that the only way to stop incidents such as the Orlando shooting is to destroy Islamic terrorist groups on their home turf. If you were merely stupid, your political opponents might be convinced that you really cared. But you’re not stupid, you’re evil. You are anti-American, you’re an Islamic terrorist sympathizer. You’re goal in life is to destroy the United States of America and with each passing day, you’re getting closer to your goal.

I’m enraged at the president, and any patriotic American citizen should be also.

Now that the dust is beginning to settle, various folks, political and non-political, have been weighing in on how the Orlando mass shooting could have been prevented or diminished.

The shooting took place in an establishment that served alcohol, a drug that alters personality, the nervous system, and inhibitions. Individuals under the influence often do things they would not do if they were sober. If I owned an establishment that served alcohol, guns would be there. I’d probably have one in an office drawer and at least one behind the bar. On certain busy nights, I would perhaps have plain clothes detectives or other security officers stationed in various areas of the club, carrying concealed guns.

Pulse Night Club is located in the downtown Orlando area and primarily caters to the gay population. It was advertised as a gun free zone in order that patrons could meet up for fun, fellowship, unity, and, or course, libation.

First of all, if you think a gun free zone is safe, think again. I’m not about to set foot in a gun free zone. While I can’t guarantee that everywhere I go will be safe,  a gun free zone is definitely not.

If I owned or managed an establishment similar to Pulse where alcohol was served, and the patrons were not always accepted in certain sectors of society, guns would be present in order to prevent trouble. And  June being gay pride month is just another good reason to have plenty of security on board. I said if I owned or managed an establishment similar to the Pulse, heck if I owned any type of brick and mortar establishment, even an infant’s and children’s store in Mountain Brook, Alabama,  there would be a gun on the premises for safety.

In a previous article and on social media, I indicated that I felt the president of the United States had blood on his hands, as well as those of his administration. This administration wasted time going after and attempting to destroy people who feel  that marriage should be between one man and one woman, including people/businesses who do not want to provide goods and services in connection with gay marriage, but refused to go after Islamic Terrorism, a clear and existing threat to the LGBT community.

Liberals are blaming guns, hate, and the promotion of hate, with one of my liberal stalkers (I do have online stalkers), suggesting to me that I become a part of the solution and not part of the problem. Was he suggesting that I, a conservative commentator exercising my first amendment rights, am a promotor of hate? Probably so, since liberals (aka “tolerant left”) define hate as anything that they don’t agree with and a hater as anyone who doesn’t tow the liberal line. Was he partially blaming me for the Orlando mass shooting when the Religion of Islam calls for homosexuality to be punished by death and Saturday night’s killer was a Muslim and possible connections to ISIS?  Far out!

The canned liberal response is to emotionally lament over hatred of which they always to accuse those who don’t agree with them, and to call for stricter gun control while demonizing gun owners. I haven’t heard any of them blame the NRA and Fox News, yet; but I’m sure it’s coming.

The current administration has done everything it can to promote and protect the LGBT culture from bathing the White House in rainbow colors after the U.S. Supreme Court ruling allowing gay marriage in all states, to declaring June as Pride Month and making no holds barred attempts to destroy anyone who does not honor gay marriage.

Whether you agree with these measure or not, the truth is that government cannot possibly protect you from harm every minute of your life. You have to take measures to protect yourself and make good decisions. And this is no guarantee you’ll always be safe, and I’m not suggesting you stay home behind locked doors, in bed, with the covers pulled over your head.  Just realize that big government who claims to be able to provide for your every need, can’t. Not even the bloated over-reaching government created by Barak Obama and his liberal henchmen.

Going to a night club in a downtown metropolitan area that promotes itself as a gun-free zone with fellowship, love, and unity for all on a Saturday night? Good decision or not? I can’t say. But I do wish that folks would realize that the government is not a panacea. Individuals must assume responsibility for their own safety. You can’t transfer it to the government or anyone else.

In its attempt to protect the gay population, as well as the entire LGBT community, this administration, among other things, has sought to destroy people like me for believing and stating that marriage should be between one man and one woman. It is common knowledge that Muslims hate those who are gay, and in countries ruled by Sharia law, gays can be put to death. While going after people like me and doling out ridiculous punishments to businesses who will not provide services in connection with gay marriage, this administration has completely ignored a clear and established threat to the LGBT community, Radical Islam. Barak Obama, you have blood on your hands. You killed those people in the Orlando night club just the same as if you had taken guns into that club and started shooting at the patrons yourself.

The above is a Facebook post I authored yesterday, Sunday, June 10, 2016, in the wake of the mass shooting at a night club that catered mostly to gays in downtown Orlando, Florida.

For years, the “tolerant left” has demonized individuals who believe and have stated that marriage should be between one man and one woman. Furthermore, the “tolerant left” has attempted and been successful in many instances of destroying businesses and individuals who declined to provide services in connection with gay marriage. Also, certain people have been forced to resign from jobs and give up accolades because they simply believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman.

In a feeble effort to support the gay community, the White House was bathed in rainbow colors in late June, 2015, to celebrate a ruling handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court that legalized same-sex marriage around the country. But come Independence Day, the fourth of July, the White House refused to change those colors to America’s colors: red, white, and blue.

Fast forward one year, the president of the United States is responding to the worst terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11/2001, the mass shooting in an Orlando night club by an American citizen who is a full-blooded Afghan with ties to ISIS. Looking very uncomfortable the president did call the shooting terrorism arising out of hate. He still won’t say the words “Islamic Terrorism” and with shooting incident after shooting incident, he continues to push the liberal gun control agenda.

Maybe, just maybe, Mr. President, if you would go after our real enemies and seek to destroy those who seek to destroy us, what happened in Orlando this past Saturday night would not have happened. Instead, though, you and your liberal comrades tell us that we need stricter gun control and that stricter gun control will keep guns out of the hands of criminals. This makes about as much sense as believing that criminals with guns will turn and walk away if they see a building or a business is a gun free zone.

You’ve gone after conservatives, Republicans, Christians, gun owners, people who own a Confederate battle flag or something portraying the Confederate battle flag such as a belt buckle. Every time there is an incident involving an Islamic terrorist, you never fail to remind the American people that we shouldn’t judge Islam on the actions of a few. There was also the comments from Attorney General, Loretta Lynch that she was more concerned about the perception that Americans might have toward Islam after the San Bernadino shootings than actually going after terrorists committing these atrocities.

Because of your above directives, the United States of America has not gone after the ones we should be going after, Islamic Terrorists including ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc. America is vulnerable, people are dying. Yes, you killed those folks who were patrons of a gay night club in Orlando because you have failed to define our enemies and wasted precious time and resources in going after folks who posed no threat to those in the LGBT community whatsoever.

But this isn’t just about the LGBT community in which you have failed, it’s about every man, woman, and child in this nation in which you have also failed.

Mr. President, you have blood on your hands!

Is there an increasing hostility to Christian values and religious freedoms in our country today?

According to townhall.com, there is and in an article dated May 2, 2016, Michael Brown cites the following examples possibly indicating that there is indeed a war on Christianity in the United States.

  1. The NCAA announced that it will not hold any men’s and women’s Final Four basketball events in a city that discriminates against anyone based on sexual orientation or gender identity. In its official statement, the NCAA declared that the board’s decision follows the recent actions of legislatures in several states, which have passed laws allowing residents to refuse to provide services to some people based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. It is the opinion of Mr. Brown that not only has the NCAA grossly mischaracterized these recent laws, but it is now guilty of discriminating against biblically-based beliefs and declaring than no Final Four game will be held in any city that does not allow men to use women’s bathrooms or that protects a Christian photographer from being forced to shot a same-sex wedding.
  2. The Colorado Supreme Court has chosen not to hear the case of Christian baker Jack Phillips who was previously ordered by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission to create cakes for same-sex celebrations, re-educate his staff, and file quarterly compliance reports for two years. The Court declined to hear the case, meaning that the state’s Civil Rights Commission not only has the power to require a bakery to make same-sex wedding cakes, but also to require that baker to re-educate his staff and file regular reports proving that he is baking those cakes. I’ve said many times before that a private business owner should have the right to refuse business for any reason. Forcing Mr. Phillips to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding, then ordering him to re-educate his staff and file regular compliance reports is just unfathomable in the United States of America. This is totalitarianism at its height.
  3. Eric Walsh, the highly-qualified, newly-hired District Health Director with the Georgia Department of Public Health was fired because of the content of his sermons as a Seventh Day Adventist minister. According to his attorney, Jeremy Dys, of First Liberty, no one in this country should be fired from their job for something that was said in a church or from a pulpit during a sermon. According to attorney Davis French, working for former president Bush and current president Obama to combat AIDS, serving as a board member of the Latino Health Collaborative, and starting California’s first city-run clinic for low-income families dealing with HIV/AIDS wasn’t sufficient to overcome the horror at Walsh’s Christian views. So, it sounds like Dr. Walsh was ministering to the poor and down-trodden while preaching the word of God. Does this remind you of someone else?
  4. Several senators have introduced a bill that would deem all efforts to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity an unfair or deceptive act of practice under the Federal Trade Commission Act. In other words, it would be illegal to counsel someone struggling with same-sex attraction or gender identity confusion, but it would be perfectly legal to encourage someone to embrace those attractions or act on that confusion. If this new bill becomes law, it would not only be considered unethical to help some deal with his same-sex attractions, it would be illegal. It would also be illegal to help a person get to the root of his gender confusion. However, it would be perfectly legal for a counsel to recommend hormone blockers for a 10 year old to stop the onset of puberty and then to prepare that child for sex-change surgery as soon as he or she was old enough.
  5. The NBA announced that it will not hold next year’s All-Star game in Charlotte, North Carolina unless the state changes HB2, the Bathroom Privacy Act. So, unless North Carolina agrees to let grown men use women’s locker rooms and changing facilities, and unless it removes protections for religious liberties, it will be punished.
  6. The Department of Education has decided that Religious schools that receive federal money, yet obtain federal exemptions to allegedly discriminate against LGBT students and employees will have their waivers posted online for public view. This means that any Christian institution receiving federal money and at the same time holding to biblical morality and sexuality could suffer adverse consequences.
  7. Breitbart News has reported that a federal court sides with a transgender student who insisted that the Obama administration’s reading of Federal Title IX rules would allow her to choose her own bathroom at her Virginia high school. In other worlds, no matter what kind of hardship or inconvenience this puts on the rest of the students, without any type of scientific proof that a child is actually transgender, the perceived needs of the one or two struggling children will be imposed on the other 1,000 and the Obama administration will come after your school if you fail to comply.

Scary? I’d say so. I keep thinking at some point the American people will have had enough of this foolishness and start to take matters into their own hands by perhaps holding demonstrations all over the country and busing to Washington to confront our public officials face to face. Has the conservative faction of this nation become too nice and too dignified to hold demonstrations and get in someone’s face? It would appear so. Liberals certainly don’t hesitate to protest. In fact liberals don’t hesitate to also destroy property and injure anyone who might get in their way.

So, does the war on Christianity really exist? You decide.

I’m at the point where I think that the only thing that will save and preserve the United States of America as we know it will be outright demonstrations. Will the good people of the United States do it or will be United States of America be lost forever?

According to allenbwest.com, in an article written by Michelle Jesse, the current president, even as the Pope was just barely off the ground, departing the U.S., took the opportunity to make his most strident statement yet about limits to Americans’ religious freedom. He made one point crystal clear in “his America, LGBT rights trump religious liberty.

According to Breitbart, as Pope Francis few back to Rome, President Obama issued a stern warning to Christians, warning them that their attempts to assert their religious liberty to oppose gay rights would fail. In a dramatic speech at a LGBT fundraiser in New York City this past Sunday night, the president indicated that we have to say clearly that our religious freedom doesn’t grant us the freedom to deny our fellow Americans their constitutional rights. This event was a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee and was specifically billed as an LGBT gala.

During his speech, Obama asserted that his administration was respecting what he described as “genuine concerns” of religious institutions, but suggested that Republicans were using the issue just to earn more votes, as they did in 2004. The current president went on to assert that America had left the leaders of the Republican Party behind.

Also, in the speech, he ridiculed Dr. Ben Carson for suggesting that “prison turns you gay” and added that another Republican candidate had boasted of his introduction of a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage, likely referring to Senator Ted Cruz. Alluding to Governor Mike Huckabee, the president mocked a candidate who said that “Americans should just disobey the Supreme Court’s ruling entirely.

Ms. Jesse goes on to write that the president’s speech will provide another rallying point for liberals eager to demonstrate their “openness” and “tolerance” for anything except certain religions. I’ll go a little farther than that and say that it will create multiple rallying points for liberals to disparage Christianity plus conservatism.

Liberals/Democrats/Progressives or whatever you want to call them, in their quest to fully control our lives via big government, are constantly asking for snippets limiting our freedoms. “Just give us this, they say,” but they never stop. Small chunks are our freedom are bitten off by liberals in termite fashion. Then one day we wake up and have lost our most fundamental freedoms, including the freedom to practice our faith.

People laugh at me when I express concern that one day we may not be able to say a prayer in a restaurant before eating or give the impression that we’re praying in any other public place.

Ms. Jesse feels that if there’s one thing we might thank Obama for, it’s that his blatant disregard for this republic’s founding principles and due process has ignited a mobilizing anger within many Americans who had previously been disengaged or disconnected from the electoral process.

Is the current President a Christian? He says he is and has claimed to be a person of faith. However, that’s not for me or any of us to judge. He, like all of us, will one day be judged by The Almighty.

Because we studied it in school and were brought up with the knowledge that we would always be free to practice our religion or our faith in the United States of America, it should be alarming to anyone that the President of the United States is now dis-allowing Americans that right.

Overseas, Christians are being jailed and physically tortured for their beliefs. Here in the United States, we get called names and denigrated. At the extreme, we may have to close business or resign from a job. While the above is bad enough, will there come a time when Americans will be faced with imprisonment, torture, and execution for practicing their Christian faith?

Just a short time ago, if a business refused to do business with a potential customer, the customer went down the street to find another business to do business with. Not anymore, though. If someone refuses your business, you have the right to destroy that business and ruin the lives of the owners and perhaps the employees.

In November 2014, we elected enough Republicans to take control of the Senate, along with enough Republicans to maintain control of the House of Representatives. Those Republicans were supposed to put a grinding halt on the evil things this current administration was doing. Hasn’t happened, though. The administration is still doing evil things.

This country was settled by those seeking religious freedom and our roots are in religious freedom. Are we allowing the current President and his liberal henchmen to destroy this? It sure looks that way.
