BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS, MR. PRESIDENT

In its attempt to protect the gay population, as well as the entire LGBT community, this administration, among other things, has sought to destroy people like me for believing and stating that marriage should be between one man and one woman. It is common knowledge that Muslims hate those who are gay, and in countries ruled by Sharia law, gays can be put to death. While going after people like me and doling out ridiculous punishments to businesses who will not provide services in connection with gay marriage, this administration has completely ignored a clear and established threat to the LGBT community, Radical Islam. Barak Obama, you have blood on your hands. You killed those people in the Orlando night club just the same as if you had taken guns into that club and started shooting at the patrons yourself.

The above is a Facebook post I authored yesterday, Sunday, June 10, 2016, in the wake of the mass shooting at a night club that catered mostly to gays in downtown Orlando, Florida.

For years, the “tolerant left” has demonized individuals who believe and have stated that marriage should be between one man and one woman. Furthermore, the “tolerant left” has attempted and been successful in many instances of destroying businesses and individuals who declined to provide services in connection with gay marriage. Also, certain people have been forced to resign from jobs and give up accolades because they simply believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman.

In a feeble effort to support the gay community, the White House was bathed in rainbow colors in late June, 2015, to celebrate a ruling handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court that legalized same-sex marriage around the country. But come Independence Day, the fourth of July, the White House refused to change those colors to America’s colors: red, white, and blue.

Fast forward one year, the president of the United States is responding to the worst terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11/2001, the mass shooting in an Orlando night club by an American citizen who is a full-blooded Afghan with ties to ISIS. Looking very uncomfortable the president did call the shooting terrorism arising out of hate. He still won’t say the words “Islamic Terrorism” and with shooting incident after shooting incident, he continues to push the liberal gun control agenda.

Maybe, just maybe, Mr. President, if you would go after our real enemies and seek to destroy those who seek to destroy us, what happened in Orlando this past Saturday night would not have happened. Instead, though, you and your liberal comrades tell us that we need stricter gun control and that stricter gun control will keep guns out of the hands of criminals. This makes about as much sense as believing that criminals with guns will turn and walk away if they see a building or a business is a gun free zone.

You’ve gone after conservatives, Republicans, Christians, gun owners, people who own a Confederate battle flag or something portraying the Confederate battle flag such as a belt buckle. Every time there is an incident involving an Islamic terrorist, you never fail to remind the American people that we shouldn’t judge Islam on the actions of a few. There was also the comments from Attorney General, Loretta Lynch that she was more concerned about the perception that Americans might have toward Islam after the San Bernadino shootings than actually going after terrorists committing these atrocities.

Because of your above directives, the United States of America has not gone after the ones we should be going after, Islamic Terrorists including ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc. America is vulnerable, people are dying. Yes, you killed those folks who were patrons of a gay night club in Orlando because you have failed to define our enemies and wasted precious time and resources in going after folks who posed no threat to those in the LGBT community whatsoever.

But this isn’t just about the LGBT community in which you have failed, it’s about every man, woman, and child in this nation in which you have also failed.

Mr. President, you have blood on your hands!

MALAISE OVER AMERICA

After the 9/11/2001 attacks on the United States of America, I was ready to get out and show those Islamic terrorist cowards that they couldn’t stop me from living my life and doing what I do. I went to shopping malls, sporting events, movie theaters, etc.

Fast forward to today. A week ago, ISIS, an evil Islamic terrorist organization, attached an entertainment center in Paris France. ISIS didn’t go after government buildings and government personnel. Instead, they went after innocent civilians who were out on the town on a Friday night to have a good time. A soccer event was taking place, a rock concert was taking place, and people were having dinner and drinks at the many outdoor Parisian cafes for which Paris is so famous.

ISIS has indicated that intends to attack the United States of America and the cities of New York and Washington D.C. have been mentioned. While that’s a far cry from the Birmingham, Alabama area, an attack anywhere in the USA will affect everyone in the USA.

Why do I not feel the same vigor I felt after the 9/11 attacks? I’m fourteen years older and have developed some health problems? Maybe, but I doubt it. As soon as the 9/11 attacks took place, the president of the United States, George W. Bush, informed the American people that Freedom itself was attacked this morning by a faceless coward, and freedom will be defended. President Bush was doing what he pledged to do when he took the Oath of Office of the Presidency of the United States. The American people expected nothing less. Under the same circumstances, any president would have been expected to do the same thing. At an impromptu meeting of Congress shortly after the 9/11 attacks, all members started singing “God Bless America.” The administrative and legislative branches of government were together committed to fighting the evil that had attacked the Unites States of America. I felt safe and cared for because I knew the United States government was committed to protecting the citizens of the United States of America and fighting for the freedoms that our forefathers made happen.

Fast forward to November 2015. Another free country, France, has been attacked by ISIS, the most evil Islamic terrorist group to date. Also, ISIS has promised to attack the United States of America. And what does our current president do to defend freedom and protect the American people? Pretty much nothing. He has said zero to the American people that he intends to fight the scourge that is ISIS and preserve the freedoms that our forefathers established for us. He won’t even say the words “Islamic Terrorist.” He continues to dictate to the American people not to judge Muslims by the actions of a few. Yet, he continues to denigrate Christians and has refused to help the many Christians that are being persecuted and killed in Muslim countries across the globe. He has turned his back on America’s greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel.

The current president has done nothing to indicate to Americans that he stands with them in the fight against terrorism. Instead, he leads the way in admitting thousands of Syrian refugees, many of which are members of ISIS. Furthermore, he has indicated that those who oppose the influx of these Syrians, particularly the Congressional Republicans are afraid of widows and orphans. However, when I looked at the pictures of these Syrians, I saw mostly young men who looked to be in their late teens/twenties.

I feel like a sitting duck and so do most of the people who I have talked to following the Paris attacks. I’m not inclined to get out and demonstrate to the terrorists that I’m not afraid of them like I was in 2011. In 2011, the United States had a president who promised to fight back in order to protect the United States of America and preserve freedom across the world. This president, on the other hand, seems to be looking forward to an attack on American soil.

President Barak Obama, now I’ve said his name, has no intention of bringing the American people together to fight ISIS. I believe he wants America to be attacked. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if he, even as I’m writing this, if planning, with ISIS, an attack on American soil. I’m convinced that he is a Muslim and sympathizes with the terrorists, and has as his goal, to destroy the United States of America. He’s poised to do it.

The mainstream media does seem to be coming around, even though at a snail’s pace. But the Obama zombies still blindly worship him and will probably continue to do so unless they are hit with some type of cosmic baseball bat.

Y’all, I so hope I’m wrong. I really want to be wrong. As a political blogger, I’m called many things by the left in the form of insults and accusations. If I’m wrong, bring it on liberals. I doubt you can call me anything you haven’t already called me or accuse me of anything you haven’t already accused me of.

REASONABLE DISCUSSIONS WITH LIBERALS – HOW OXYMORONIC IS THAT?

Conservative Icon, Ann Coulter, has written many books about liberals. One of them is entitled, “How to Talk to a Liberal if You Must.” It was released in 2004 and I can’t remember for the life of me if I’ve read it, and trying to find it in my vast book collection is not on my current list of things to do.

Every boss I’ve ever had has told me that I lacked self-confidence and I do. One even said that he had more confidence in me than I had in me. I also have a tendency to let people take advantage of me or “roll over me.” The lack of self-confidence dates back to my early childhood years. Letting people “roll over me” or take advantage of me comes from being an only child. Not having siblings, I never learned the skill of taking up for myself.

Lacking self-confidence and letting others take advantage of me does not a political blogger/pundit make. I don’t blame family and friends who I grew up around for my short comings. It is what it is and I just have to try a little harder.

The first time I was attacked by a liberal after setting myself out as a political blogger, I was very upset. I realized, though, that as long as I put my feelings and opinions out there, I would be subject to more attacks. Could I stand the heat or did I need to get out of the kitchen. Now, over a year and a half later, I’m still blogging, but do have to remind myself that my stand on the issues is solid and liberal stands on the issues can be refuted.

Liberals think they’re so smart. In fact, most educators/academicians are liberal. That includes your elementary school teachers all the way up to those with doctorates who occupy the ivory towers of institutions of higher education.

Since becoming a political blogger and a utilizer of social media, I have had encounters with numerous liberals. If they’re so smart and so much better than us unenlightened oafs, how come they can’t read something and understand its meaning. I often post something, only to have a liberal make comments that are unrelated to the subject of the post. Sometimes I will have to ask them to go back and re-read what I said.

Liberals also love to accuse conservatives/Republicans of hating minorities and the poor. I can and do regularly deep-six those accusations. It isn’t hard to do.

I’ve also had experiences where I wasn’t discussing politics at all, only to have a liberal inject themselves in a conversation because he or she heard some kind of buzzword or phrase that they didn’t like. When this happens, I never fail to point out that the conversation or thread had nothing to do with a political concept. This is again, an example of liberals not being able to comprehend what is written or said.

Talk about short memories; “liberals, they got em.” On June 17, 2015, a lone gunman who was a known racist and had been pictured in a photo holding up a Confederate battle flag, shot and killed nine black members of a Charleston, South Carolina church. All of a sudden the responsibility for the shooting did not lie with a deranged young man, the responsibility, instead, was the fault of the Confederate flag. Liberals, in their ever continuing rush to judgment, started demanding that Confederate flags cease flying over government buildings. Of course, removing a few flags from a few southern state capitals was not going to satisfy them. They began attacking statutes of military men who fought valiantly for the South. Then, the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP demanded that the historic carving on Stone Mountain, just outside of Atlanta, showcasing Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, and Stonewall Jackson be sanded away. That struck a nerve with me and apparently it stuck a nerve with a lot of people.

The City of Birmingham has voted to remove a monument honoring Confederate soldiers and sailors who died during the Civil War.

On Monday, July 15, 2015, nine Alabama state senators introduced a bill at the beginning of a special legislative session that is designed to protect monuments on publicly owned property. The bill would outlaw the removal or relation of any statute or monument on public property honoring individuals or groups which participated in seventeen different military campaigns. Any group that wants to be exempt from the law would have to get permission from the Alabama Historical Commission. So, the state of Alabama is scrambling to keep the Feds and their wrecking balls from descending upon us and destroying history. I don’t know if other southern states are following suit. This is all well and good, but with the way the current dictator is taking us, those wrecking balls may be headed this way and states’ rights and the U.S. Constitution be damned.

Now, an alleged Islamic terrorist has killed five Marines in Chattanooga and I’ve heard very little talk regarding whether or not we should get rid of all symbols and statutes relating to Islam. Liberals who claim to be fair-minded and caring aren’t saying a word. While both liberals and conservatives lamented the shooting of the nine Charlestonians, I haven’t seen one liberal condemn the shooting. Instead, they are playing a waiting game to see how the investigation plays out. They didn’t do this in the shooting of Michael Brown of Ferguson, Missouri, nor did they do this in the death of Freddie Gray of Baltimore.

The current President has often lectured the American people, stating that we should not judge the religion of Islam by the acts of a few, but I haven’t heard him say anything about not judging southerners by the actions of one who was obviously deranged.

Could liberalism be a pre-cursor to Alzheimer’s? Ann’s book was published in 2004. Maybe I should read it or re-read it.

DEFINITION OF HATER

I’ve often said that it seems the liberals/Democrats change the definition of racism to suit themselves. When they can’t win an argument with a conservative, which is well over 90 percent of the time, they begin hurling insults at you and one of those insults is usually racist, even if your discussion did not even touch upon race. My conclusion regarding this is since the current President of the United States is half black, if you disagree with his policies, you’re a racist.

Well, now it seems that if you disagree with the current President’s policies that you are deemed a hater. I’ve told this story many times and I’ll tell it again and again. When I was a little girl, the cold war was raging and Nikita Khrushchev, the first secretary of the central committee of the Communist party of the Soviet Union, declared to American parents that their children would live under Communism. I didn’t know what Communism was, but knew it was bad. When I was about five, I asked my grandmother about Communism. I don’t remember that much about the conversation, but I do remember my grandmother telling me that here in the United States, if you didn’t like or disagreed with your elected officials, you could say it right out loud. In the Soviet Union and other Communist nations, you couldn’t say bad things about the government. Even though I’m sure that my grandmother talked about free elections and other things, being able to say that I didn’t like what the government was doing stuck with me. As you know, I do exercise that right.

Hate is a powerful emotion and we should not hate. I can remember my mother, whenever I said that I hated someone, would remind me that it was a sin to hate. Instead, Mama told me that I should say that I didn’t care for someone.
I remember all the hate that was directed to former Presidents George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan. When I saw liberals depicting President Bush hanging from a tree, I would wince. When I saw the left depicting President Reagan as a clown, I would wince also. But you go on with your life, it’s politics. Now, it seems that if you disagree with the current President on policies that you are automatically dubbed a hater.

In a Daily Kos article dated January 4, 2015, Bernard Pliers wrote an article entitled, “Dear Obama Hater – You Just Wasted a Decade of Your Life.” I’m not sure if this article was directed at someone like me. I do not agree with this President politically and there is not a single issue on which I agree with him. I believe that he is a racist, a bigot, an Islamic terrorist sympathizer, and a socialist bordering on communist. I agree 100 percent with Rudy Giuliani that this President does not love the United States of America and has as his ultimate goal, the substantial weakening of this country. He is certainly not a President to all Americans and doesn’t care at all about the middle class. But, he might be fun to party with.

With regard to the above cited article, Mr. Pliers trashes conservatives and Tea Party members and indicates that they have wasted ten years of their lives and have nothing to show for it. Mr. Pliers goes on to chastise those who he deems Obama haters, indicating that while they wasted time hating the current President, they could have accomplished many things such as getting a college degree, writing a book, running their first marathon, and learning a foreign language. Now, I earned a college degree quite a few years before the current President was first elected and inaugurated. But I did write book during his administration and hope to have several more while he is still in office. I’ve also started a business, even though, according to the current President, I didn’t build it.
Then Mr. Pliers infers that we conservatives wouldn’t have done any of those things anyway because we were waiting for impeachment and for the GOP candidates to “take off the gloves.”

Mr. Pliers, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a political junkie, nothing wrong with keeping up with current events, nothing wrong with disagreeing with your elected officials and letting them know it. In fact, that’s what our country’s forefathers intended us to do if we were to preserve our freedoms. Mr. Pliers, I’m not going to accept that the ACA was jammed down our throats utilizing every legislative trick the liberals could possible use. I’m not going to accept that this President or any President can, with the stroke of a pen, grant benefits to illegal aliens, change laws passed by Congress, shut down commerce, etc. I don’t like executive orders and think that they should be used sparingly, not when the President knows that something can’t get through Congress.

Furthermore, Mr. Pliers, I have a computer, in fact, I have three, and I have word processing software. I intend to make my feelings about our government officials known, whether I agree with them or not. I also hope to convey knowledge along the way. As Americans, we must hold our elected officials accountable, we must not accept everything they say and do. We must question all of them. Anyone that runs for public office should be prepared to answer questions and be held accountable. In fact, he or she should expect to be grilled and should welcome it.

You ended your article with this: “And the next time there is a GOP president, just remember that there will be fatal embassy attacks under the GOP president, just like the dozens of fatal embassy attacks that occurred under previous Republican presidents. Except Democrats won’t be working themselves into a frenzy of conspiracy theories when it happens, they won’ be cheerleading for the terrorists, and they won’t be trying to overthrow the U.S. government every time something happens.

Yes, Mr. Pliers, there will probably be additional embassy attacks, but it is my hope that any President, if embassy attacks occur under his or her watch, will be engaged and will take all precautions necessary to prevent the attack. If the attack does occur and Americans are killed, call the attack what it is and authorize the appropriate investigations into why the attack happened and how to prevent such attacks from occurring in the future. And then don’t lie to the American people about what actually caused the attack. If the current President and the “then” Secretary of State has been fully engaged before and after the attack and had not lied to the American people, telling them it was caused by a video, I doubt that many people, Republicans or Democrats would have said much of anything.

Conservatives are not cheerleading for terrorists. I don’t know where you got that from, but you are telling a lie. I don’t recall anyone making a prominent case for overthrowing the government. Again, that’s a lie.

Instead of trying to convince people who don’t agree with you, like me, with facts and statistics, you, like other liberals can only hurl insults. There are so many untruths in your article and I have only been able to get to a few of them. Hopefully, I will be able to address them in the future. Meanwhile, I have many other things to do, such as run my business, work on my next novel, and market my just released novel.
