HOW FAR WILL PRESIDENT TRUMP GO TO PROSECUTE HRC?

For at least the first fifteen minutes of her Fox Cable News show, The Kelly File, host Megyn Kelly dwelled ad museum regarding President Elect, Donald Trump’s possible backing off from the prosecution of Hillary Clinton for illegal activities in connection with using a private email server while serving as Secretary of State and the Clinton Foundation.

Ms. Kelly interviewed various individuals and insinuated that Mr. Trump was breaking a major campaign promise in being reluctant to talk about how he might prosecute HRC (Hillary Rodham Clinton). Because this was getting old, I chose to retire to my office and write about it.

I supported Donald Trump, not only because he ran as a Republican and I would rather dress in blue and orange and yell “War Eagle” than vote Democrat, but because he promised to repeal and/or replace Obamacare, to lower the corporate income tax rate, to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States, undo all of the executive orders signed by Barak Obama creating burdensome regulations, and destroy ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups.

During the campaign, candidate Donald Trump indicated that he wanted to put Hillary Clinton in jail for her crimes. Chants of “Lock her up” were even heard at many of his rallies. While I think it would be nice to see HRC behind bars, there are other things more important as Donald Trump makes a valiant effort to save this country from the abyss in which Barak Obama had the United States headed.

Let’s be realistic. How many times during the course of your life have you wanted to harm someone, really harm them? Maybe it was a boss, maybe it was a classmate, maybe it was a parent or another family member, or maybe it was a neighbor. It was someone who had “done you wrong” and you were out for revenge.

In my first fiction novel, three classmates of the main character, Kristie, hated her so much that they planned to kidnap her and force her to drink straight whiskey until she passed out. After she passed out, they were going to tie her up and throw her into some snaky woods by a local creek in hope that she would get bit to death by poisonous snakes. When it came time to do the insidious deed, all three boys backed off. As much as they hated Kristie, they couldn’t do that to her. Maybe Donald Trump is not prepared to do prosecute HRC. Maybe since he won the presidency, getting back at her is just not that important. Maybe saving this country and giving the American people a chance at the America dream is more important that a lengthy protracted trial that’s sure to detract from his mission to make America great again.

Donald Trump was elected to the presidency of the United States a mere two weeks ago, and already the press is disparaging him about his waffling on the prosecution of Hillary Clinton. Why? What does it matter? There are so many other things that need to be done in order to get this country out of free fall. Let’s concentrate on those things and hold him accountable in those areas. Then if enough time is left, maybe prosecute HRC.

THE DONALD TRUMP MYSTIQUE AND GUNS

Since he declared himself a candidate for the Republican Party’s nomination for President, I haven’t said much about Donald Trump. Now that he’s the front runner and likely to be the Republican nominee, I’ll weigh in.

When Mr. Trump initially entered the race, I didn’t think too much about him. Like many Republicans, I thought he would have “flash in the pan” popularity and then be out of the race. However, your average “conservative man/woman on the street” has bonded with him and may very well put him in the White House. Why is this? Read the following.

Donald Trump, the world’s best businessman, is not afraid to speak out. He doesn’t care about political correctness, nor does he care about the mainstream media’s reaction to him. When he says things that the left doesn’t like and considers offensive, Donald doesn’t sappily attempt to apologize. Instead he thumbs his nose at the left, and this is what the average conservative man/woman want to see.

In the last couple of decades, Republican politicians and office holders have become scared of their own shadows. They’re afraid of the mainstream media and the left, in general. They tippy-tippy-toe around trying to be as politically correct as possible. They’re so afraid of the current president shutting down the government, knowing the president, the mainstream media, and the left, in general, will blame the Congressional Republicans.

After Mr. Trump indicated that he would block all Muslims from immigrating to the United States until representatives could figure out what was going on, the White House indicated that Mr. Trump was not qualified and should end his candidacy. The left went on a “tear.” In addition to suggesting that he was not qualified to be president, the left indicated that any Republican who did not denounce Donald Trump was not qualified to be president. Thus Republican presidential candidates and prominent Republicans got in line with the liberals to denounce Donald Trump. Can you say scared of their own shadow?

Donald Trump is not afraid of saying it as he sees it. If he misspeaks, he may revise what he said to a certain degree, but he never walks anything back, nor does he apologize. He’s politically incorrect and proud of it. Most Americans sick and tired of political correctness, but afraid to be politically incorrect, lest the left attempt to do them harm.

Donald knows this, I discovered this after becoming a political blogger, but Republican politicians don’t seem to have figured it out yet: liberals are nothing but bullies. And what do most bullies do when you turn it right back at them, they tend to fade into the woodwork. Try it, it works.

I’m not comfortable with having someone in the White House who has had no political experience. Running a government is so very different from running a business. I favor someone who has had political experience and business experience. So, I would rather see some else get the nomination. But again, Republicans are scared of their own shadows, the left, and the mainstream media. And I think a lot of Trump’s success is due to the failure of Republicans to get their message out there and fight for what they believe. He’s definitely not my first choice, but if he’s the nominee, he will get my vote.

Now to the second part of this post, guns. Gun sales to Americans are going through the roof due to the indication of the current administration that will they not protect us, even though protecting American citizens is the number one responsibility of any president and his or her administration.

Having lived in the South all of my life, I’m perfectly okay with having guns in my house. When I was growing up, my Dad had guns and I knew where he kept them. I was not to go near them, and I didn’t. While I have kept a handgun to protect myself from intruders coming onto my property for most of my adult life, I never felt it necessary to obtain a carry permit. Now I do.

It’s not a matter of if we have another terrorist attack on American soil, it’s a matter of when. ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups have infiltrated the United States and those charged with protecting the American people will not do their jobs. Furthermore, this administration, the mainstream media, and the left in general are ever so slowly attempting to demoralize our local police forces. They are trying to set guidelines to render the police virtually feckless, thereby limiting their ability to protect people they are supposed to be serving. When I go somewhere, I’m subject to being the victim of perhaps a terrorist attack or criminal attack.

We have the worst president in my lifetime and perhaps in the entire history of the United States. We’re sitting ducks and must take responsibility for our own lives and those of our loved ones. I know it’s a personal choice, but think about it. We’re at a very critical cross-roads in the history of the United States of America. In order for our Democratic Republic to survive, we must take our country back. We can begin now with law abiding adult citizens purchasing firearms and learning how to use them.
