STORY ABOUT THE NFL – HOW IMPORTANT IS IT?

Throughout social media, people are questioning the news media’s covering of the NFL Story regarding multiple players refusing to stand while the National Anthem is played before football games. The coverage has been almost non-stop, and as one would expect, with the exception of Fox News and One America News, the media is taking the side that it’s perfectly okay to kneel for the National Anthem in protest of a cruel United States of America with a history of slavery and oppression of minorities.

When President Trump came out of Friday night, September 22, at a rally in Huntsville, Alabama, advising NFL team owners that they should fire “those SOBs who refuse to stand for the anthem,” a widespread movement swept among the players to kneel when the anthem was played.

Many folks are now boycotting the NFL and as you can imagine, there have been “opinions galore” out there. For the record, here’s mine. I blame the owners for allowing this kerfuffle to escalate to the extent it has. These players signed contracts with their respective teams, and when you sign a contract of employment, no matter what you position is, you agree to do what your employer tells you to do. The owners could have told the players, “stand for the National Anthem or be fired.” The end! But they didn’t. They wimped out.

While, of course, the players are to be held accountable for their actions and will certainly suffer repercussions, they are young men, many of them under the age of twenty-five. And they’re millionaires to boot. Groomed since childhood to be football stars, they held press conferences while in high school to announce the college they had chosen. Once they got on campus, they became the most popular guys on campus. In some states, such as my own, they became the most important people in the state, being loved, adored, and looked up to by many. After being drafted and signing multi-million-dollar contracts, they played football, and continued to be everyone’s darling. Pretty heady stuff.

Playing for an NFL team is hard work. Practices are grueling and pressure is never ending. These players are not your average twenty-four-year-old college graduates who are trying to “make it” in fields such as accounting, computer science, teaching, banking, etc. Do they watch the news, do they regularly visit news websites? Probably not. Majority of these players are black and many came from poor families. Furthermore, when someone tells them that the United States of America is a cruel racist country, and that’s why there are so many people living under the poverty line, many of them minorities, these players want to be seen as doing something good, plus they’re young and idealistic. They also want to fit in, to be popular with their peers. Thus, I put more of the blame on the owners and NFL management for allowing this to happen.  Like Bill O’Reilly said last night, it’s “pack mentality.” Also, many are not mature enough to think through what their actions might lead to down the road.

Having said all of the above, I’m also reading articles where many folks are complaining, saying that we have much more important stuff to cover and obsess on instead of football; things such as the damages and continued suffering of those affected by the recent hurricanes, plus “Little Rocket Man” on the other side of the world threatening to annihilate all of us. And let’s not forget the terrorist attack on a small church in Antioch, Tennessee where a gunman from the Sudan killed a woman church-goer in the parking lot and injured others, shooting until he was subdued by another church-goer with a carry permit and a gun. The mainstream media would not have covered the church shooting story anyway, because a black Islamic terrorist shooting at, killing and injuring white Christians, particularly southern white Christians is just not newsworthy, nor did it trigger widespread riots, looting, and allegations of police brutality.

I beg to differ with those who think the NFL story is immaterial in the wake of what else is taking place in the country and in the world.

The NFL and sports in general have always been large parts of our culture where all people regardless of financial status, social status, religion, ethnicity, ideology, etc. could come together for fun, and fellowship. The ultra-liberal sitting next to you in the stands wants the same thing as you want…for your team to win. As the United States of America becomes more polarized with respect to how we should govern ourselves now and in the future, the sports culture, where historically politics didn’t exist, has become increasingly important as a refuge and a uniting mechanism.

As I watched the left go nuclear at the president’s comments, calling him a racist (the media calling the president a racist…what else is new), when he didn’t even mention race or skin color in his remarks, followed by Roger Goodell’s actions and the team owners’ actions, it became all too apparent that this whole melee was being fueled by the left with its systematic methodologies to destroy the United States of America by vaporizing its history, including the constitution, and destroying its culture, institution by institution.

The organizers of the leftist movement to annihilate the United State of America, have now seen an opportunity to break up one of the nation’s cultural bastions, the National Football League. There have been calls for boycotting, not just the games, but boycotting NFL sponsors. And TV ratings have been down.  If the fans lose interest, income will go down, the owners will suffer, and eventually the players will suffer, not to mention all the people who work for the NFL and NFL teams in various capacities from grounds keepers, secretaries, accountants, etc. This could very well lead to a recession, especially if the left continues to attack and destroy other institutions.

Like Bill O’Reilly said last night on Hannity, left not only wants to destroy President Trump, they want to destroy his supporters, and they want to destroy the United States of America and build it back up according to their specifications, starting with a new constitution, the abolishment of the electoral college, the abolishment the three branches of government and the system of checks and balances. And who can predict what else. It’s “1984,” folks.

On Hannity last night, I noticed a slight apprehension that pervaded the Bill O’Reilly segment. Sean and Bill were both critical of the main stream media reiterating that it was as corrupt as it’s ever been. With what our young people are being taught in the public schools, or not being taught in the public schools, they have no knowledge of this country and its history, except that America has allowed the institution of slavery and continues to oppress minorities. Furthermore, since the end of the cold war, they have not been taught or nor have they seen the evils of communism and the effects of socialism. Thus, many millennials think communism and socialism are good philosophies as compared to the evils of capitalism in which we now live under.

How can this happen when the Republicans have the house, the Senate, and the presidency? I’ll tell you how, the far left has the press, a press that lives to denigrate President Trump every day, a press that promotes the lies, the hatred, the bigotry and the hypocrisy emanating from the left. If the only news that you watch are snippets of the network news or a few minutes of CNN or MSNBC, all you hear is “Russia, Russia, Russia,” Trump’s a racist, Trump’s a misogynist, Trump’s a homophobe, all Trump cares about are his wealthy friends, his supporters are ignorant, especially those southern white conservative Christians.

With a corrupt media, that promotes the left and lies about the right.  a large segment of the population that knows nothing about the cold war and the evils of communism, and conservatives who are scared of their own shadows who tremble at the thought of being called a racist, we can easily lose this nation. This is no laughing matter.

OCCUPY DEMOCRATS, A LYING CORRUPT ORGANIZATION – PART FOUR

I know that I said Part Three of my series on the Occupy Democrats organization would be the last. Well, I guess I lied, and let’s face it, I’m not the only one who has lied. Seriously, though, this one dropped right into my lap and I couldn’t pass it up.

How Democrats can compare these incidents to Benghazi is not understandable.

In my newsfeed on Facebook, another Meme from Occupy Democrats appeared listing the U.S. Embassy attacks which took place while George W. Bush was president, and stating that there were zero investigations by Republicans, and zero fake outrage on Fox News. The meme was titled, “Bush’s Benghazi.”

Attacks on embassies and consulates have always taken place, but what makes Benghazi different is not that the consulate itself was attacked, it’s the actions or rather lack of actions by the current president, the Secretary of State, and others when Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, notified the State Department that the consulate was under attack, and requested additional protection for himself and those working at the consulate. How that was handled, and the whereabouts of the current president and the Secretary of State during the attack was called into questioning. Also called into questioning, were the actions of the president and the Secretary of State, in efforts to avoid being scrutinized, attempted to blame the attacks on an anti-Muslim video.

The established facts and the outcome of the investigations into the Benghazi attacks are not the subject of this post. Rather, the subject of this post is the liberal spin, excuse me, liberal lies regarding other embassy attacks.

The following are the embassy or consulate attacks that Occupy Democrats consider comparable to Benghazi, but in reality, are no way related.

  • December 15, 2001: Unidentified assailants gunned down a Nepalese security guard of the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal.
  • March 20, 2002: A car bomb exploded near the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, killing nine people and injuring 32. The U.S. State Department reported no American casualties, injuries, or damage.
  • June 14, 2002: A suicide bombing in front of the U.S. Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, left 12 dead and 52 injured.
  • July, 30, 2004: Two people, including a suicide bomber, were killed and one person was injured as a suicide bomber set off an explosion at the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbedistan. The Israeli Embassy and the Uzbedistan Prosecutor General’s Office in Tashkent were also attacked in related incidents.
  • October, 24, 2004: Edward Seitz, the assistant regional security officer at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, died in a mortar of possible rocket attack at Camp Victory near the Baghdad airport. An American soldier was also injured. He was believed to be the first U.S. diplomat killed following the March 2003 U.S. led invasion.
  • December 7, 2004: Gunmen belonging to al-Qaida in the Arabian Pensinsula stormed the U.S. Consulate in Jedda, Saudi Arabia, triggering a bloody four-hour siege that left nine dead. One American was slightly injured in the assault.
  • September 12, 2006: Islamic militants attacked the U.S. embassy in Damascus, Syria with hand grenades, rifles, and a vehicle rigged with explo9sives. One guard and the four attackers died.
  • July 8, 2007: Two Iraqi U.S. Embassy workers were killed when the wife went to deliver a ransom for her husband who had been kidnapped in Baghdad. One of the couple’s bodyguards was killed in the filed ransoming.
  • July, 9, 2008: Four unknown gunmen killed three Turkish police at the U.S. consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
  • September 17, 2008: Suspected al-Qaida militants disguised as security forces detonated vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices, fired rocket propelled grenades, rockets and firearms on the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa, Yemen. A suicide bomber also blew himself up at the embassy. Six Yemeni police, four civilians, including an American civilian, and six attackers were killed while six others were wounded in the attacked.
  • November 27, 2008: A Taliban suicide car bomber targeted the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, killing four civilians in addition to the suicide bomber and wounding 18 others. The embassy was hosting a Thanksgiving Day event as Americans and other foreigners were arriving at the venue at the time of the attack.

As any sane person should be able to ascertain, none of the above incidents are even similar to the events surrounding the Benghazi attacks. The fact that liberals could even make such a comparison, leaves me confused. But again, they are liberals. They don’t care about facts. Furthermore, they appear incapable of thinking thing through.

Their inability to think things through by liberals used to mystify me. But, long after trying to discern liberal logic, I just might be getting it. They think they’re so smart because they have the academicians in their corner. They’re not smart at all, though. Maybe those academicians can read a textbook, take a test on the subject matter of that textbook, and make an “A.” Maybe they can study subjects and teach those subjects to students where those students range from age six to sixty. They have total control over those students, and the protection from the real world in their brick and mortar classrooms where they are seldom challenged.

Of course, the liberal population is comprised of more than just academicians. Artists, including writers, painters, and musicians, are generally liberal leaning, as well as non-political government workers, plaintiffs’ trial lawyers, and union members.

Be that as it may, until liberals are able to differentiate the above from tragedies like Benghazi and have the liberal media on their side, meaningful dialog will never take place.

INTELLECTUALLY CHALLENGED LIBERALS

I don’t like to call people stupid. It doesn’t show class, and as the old adage goes, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” Does calling folks intellectually challenged invoke more class? Not really, but I’m going to use the term for the sake of political correctness, even though I strive on a daily basis not to be politically correct.

Years ago, I was having a conversation with a few friends, one was a liberal, about politics. When I said to the group that I felt the best way to govern ourselves was the Republican philosophy that stuff, items, issues, should be handled in the private sector or the lowest level of government possible. The liberal, an academician, indicated that most higher ups in the academic sector, instead, believed that a strong centralized government with tighter control and more regulations was the best way to govern. Of course, I knew that. The liberal was attempting to illustrate that individuals with advanced degrees who teach in our institutions of higher learning, and are much smarter than someone like me who only has a bachelor’s degree, know what’s best for all of us because they are so smart.

While I certainly don’t think those higher up academics know what’s best for me, and definitely don’t agree with them on how the United States of America should be governed, I’ve never doubted their smarts or their intellectually ability.

I was willing to acknowledge that the Democrats, liberals, progressives, whatever, probably had higher grade point averages that us conservatives. I was also willing to acknowledge that maybe their level of education is higher than that of conservatives. In other words, I never thought of liberals being stupid…oops, intellectually challenged, until I started this website and began having interactions with liberals on social media and other political websites.

Instead of making reasonable arguments on behalf of their side, I was and still am called every bad name under the sun…moron, idiot, nutcase, racist, homophobe, and disgrace to my gender, just to name a few.  I am also called a Fox News watcher and a Rush Limbaugh listener, even though I don’t consider these terms bad, liberals spit them out with venomous hate. Very few liberals with whom I have “back and forths,” are able to cite facts or statistics to back up their views. Liberals just don’t care about facts. I said that first and now Bill O’Reilly says the same.

Liberals also can’t seem to read something and comprehend what they’ve read. Countless times, I’ve had to ask liberals to re-read what I’ve written and explain. This also goes hand in hand with their inclination to constantly change the subject of a post, a meme, and even an entire article. They can’t seem to stay on point and I’m constantly having to remind them of this.

From yesterday, I can cite two examples from Facebook where I can’t describe the liberals involved except to say that both are intellectually challenged.

Earlier, I interjected myself into a liberal FB friend’s post and replies. The post was Senator Elizabeth Warren’s aka Fauxkahontas, response to Speaker Paul Ryan’s “poverty agenda.” The speaker’s solution included cutting taxes and lifting onerous regulations on businesses in order to create jobs and grow the economy thereby giving more folks a chance to be prosperous. The senator’s way of diminishing poverty is, of course, to further tax the rich, including businesses that actually create jobs and grow the economy plus place more punishing regulations on businesses. In other words, just confiscate wealth someone else created and give it to those in need, thereby creating more dependence on government, and giving government more control over the people.

I made my feelings known and much to my surprise, I wasn’t called unflattering things. However, one of the liberals posting on the thread visited my personal FB page and posted the following: “CE0/CFO/CTO, now I understand why you are so defensive.” On my personal FB page, I have as my occupation, CE0/CFO/CTO/Adm Asst/Janitor of NMG Enterprises. This should be obvious to anyone operating with at least two brain cells that I’m a one person business. Yet this chick copied the CEO/CFO/CTO from my page and tries to paint me as some wealthy business tycoon while leaving off “Admn Asst/Janitor.” Even if I had just listed the big three and nothing else, anyone, again operating with at least two brain cells, should pick up that it’s a very small business. No one can possibly handle those three positions for a large business, a medium sized business or even for a semi-small business. Also, could this person actually think that she could get by with what she posted? Did she think that I was too stupid to pick up on it? I will say this for her, though. When I called her out and told her that I was a one person LLC who works twelve hours a day trying to get rich instead of knocking the rich, she replied, “Good for you! Keep at it girl!”

I mentioned above that liberals also have difficulty staying on point. They love to change the subject, especially when they can’t win on the subject being discussed. I have reason to believe that many Democrats, especially those who belong grass roots’ organizations, are taught, at leadership and other conferences, to do this when discussing issues. I also believe they are taught to direct unsubstantiated accusations at their sparring opponents, in hopes of throwing their opponents off course. One of the first online arguments that I had was with a local prominent Democrat who used the above tactics. It was almost as if she went into a trance.

From yesterday, I also had an experience that left me shaking my head at how intellectually challenged liberals can be. I shared a meme that is making the rounds on FB. The top picture is one of smiling Tea Party members waving American flags and holding up signs stating their position on certain issues. The Tea Party members are mostly well-dressed seniors. The bottom picture depicts a riot where property is being destroyed or damaged. The wording was directed at the media pointing out the difference between a protest and a riot. After writing a sarcastic reply, I shared it with friends.

The mainstream media should learn the difference between a protest and a riot.

Courtesy of Blacksphere.

Immediately after posting, I received a reply by a liberal FB friend who I suspect stalks or trolls me that was totally off the subject of the meme. I pointed that out to him and went further by responding to the off-subject post. I thought I would have received a response by now, but no. I’m sure it will come sooner or later.

Liberals are intellectually challenged, liberals are dumb. Maybe these aren’t nice things to say or put in print. But with the above two examples happening in one day and all the other things that liberals do, I’m sadly coming to that conclusion even though they often boast about having the academicians in their corner.

GOTTA LOVE THE TOLERANT LEFT

One of my favorite topics to write about is the tolerant left, which we know is anything but. With a presidential election months away and a socialist/communist the presumptive Democrat nominee, educating voters is of utmost importance. The following not only illustrates liberal lies, but left’s intolerance of differing points of view and its overall dis- ingenuousness.

The following meme has made rounds on Facebook. “When a faithfully married black president who was the son of a single mother, the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review and a professor of constitutional law is considered unintelligent, immoral, and anti-American by the right while a xenophobic, misogynistic, serially philandering trust fund kid who quotes from the National Enquirer, peddles conspiracy theories, routinely calls women ugly and fat, calls McCain a loser for having been a prisoner of war, and who has advocated torture and the bombing of women and children has captured the hearts of a majority of Republicans. This is white supremacy folks. Plain and simple.

When this meme showed up on my news feed, I replied as follows. “Every president in my life time, and I’m sure every president back to George Washington has been accused of being unintelligent (dumb, a moron, etc.), immoral, and anti-American by his opponents. Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush probably took the most criticism of any two presidents in recent history. Like most Republicans, I have issues with Trump. He certainly was not my first choice for nominee, but I will vote for him. Some of the things Trump’s being accused of in this meme are questionable or flat-out lies. And I won’t get into that now. But how anyone can relate this to racism/white supremacy is beyond me. But it has been my observation that liberals amend the definition of racism to mean anything they don’t like.”

Like I said above, Donald Trump was not my first choice for Republican nominee for president, but I’m going with him because a Hillary Clinton presidency will mean the end of the United States of America as we know it. I do have issues with Donald Trump and felt that his comment about Senator John McCain was out of line and totally uncalled for.

The meme also indicated that Donald Trump was, among other things, xenophobic and misogynistic. I don’t know about the origin of these terms, but I had never heard these terms used until a year or two ago. According to Merriam-Webster, xenophobic means fear of hatred of strangers or foreigners, and misogynistic means, according to vocabulary.com, fear and distrust of women. As an international business man, I can’t possibly believe that Trump is scared of foreigners. I would have to guess that the tolerant left is labeling him xenophobic because he has pledged to stop the influx of illegal immigrants into our country. Again, that is no indication that he is xenophobic. As far as Trump being misogynistic is concerned. He is a successful business man and I have no doubt that he’s able to “get women.” However, there are women who have worked for him who have indicated that he was a great person and boss. His first wife had said some nasty things about him, but later indicated that these comments were made during their divorce, and she has nothing but admiration for him now. While there might be some problems between Donald Trump and individual women, this most certainly does not indicate that he hates of distrusts women. I thought the tolerant left was supposed to be open-minded, giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Next, the meme calls the presumptive Republican nominee a “serially philandering trust fund kid.” According to Slate.com, a far left website, Trump inherited 40 million from his father. Slate further states, “Throughout his career he has been a real estate developer and manager, a builder of golf courses, a casino magnate, a reality TV host, a celebrity who slaps his name on assorted buildings for a fee, a hawker of power ties, and much more. This cuts against the idea that he is merely a glorified trust-fund kid: Rather than sit on his wealth while someone else saw to its care, he decided to jump into a number of highly entertaining, risky, and at times ill-advised business ventures, which have collectively turned him into an international celebrity. He took risks with the money he was given, and they seem to have paid off over time, both financially and personally. Meanwhile, Trump runs a company with thousands of employees. Whatever wealth he has created for himself, the total value that his company has created over the years is probably far greater.” So, he has created thousands of jobs and many, many people have gotten rich because of Donald Trump. But wait! The tolerant left doesn’t like rich people or people who are doing reasonably well and don’t have to depend on the government. They’re obviously unhappy with the opportunities Donald Trump has created because he has kept people from becoming dependent on the government. Perhaps many of Trump’s employees vote Republican.

And speaking of “philandering trust fund kids.” Wasn’t one of the left’s most esteemed icons, Edward Moore Kennedy, a “philandering trust fund kid?” How many jobs and how much wealth did Teddy Kennedy create? But I must remember that the late Senator was an advocate of putting as many folks on the government dole as possible. That’s what the left likes.

Yes, Trump has called certain women ugly and fat, but I wouldn’t say he routinely does it. And he’s going to have to quit that.

In a Republican candidate debate on Fox News in March, Donald Trump did indicate that he approved of water boarding and going further if necessary in fighting ISIS and other terrorist groups whose purpose is to destroy the United States of America. He also indicated that he would possibly order the military to kill the family members of militants who threaten the United States. The following day he backed off of that with his campaign issuing a statement saying he would not order the military to take actions contrary to international of U.S. law.

To say that Donald Trump has captured the hearts of a majority of Republicans is a stretch. He did get the votes, though. However, every Republican I have communicated with, seems to feel the same way I do about him…not their first choice, but they will vote for him, Hillary would be beyond disastrous.

Notwithstanding all of the above, the most ludicrous statement in this meme is the next to the last sentence. “This is white supremacy folks.” How is this remotely related to race? The author accuses Republicans of calling President Obama unintelligent, immoral, and anti-American. This president, like all other presidents, has, of course, been called names by his political opponents and detractors. Unintelligent, immoral, and anti-American are not racial slurs or indications that the person describing the president using these adjectives is a racist or advocates white supremacy.

Why should any of us be surprised, though? This is the tolerant left at its finest, always boasting that they are the ones who respect different points of view, always giving folks the benefit of the doubt, etc. Yeah, right!

TAKE COVER CONSERVATIVES, THE TOLERANT LEFT IS COMING AFTER YOU!

It’s approximately six months until the 2016 presidential election and the “tolerant left” has already declared a “no holds barred” war on Republicans, conservatives, Christians, and of course, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. So, take cover conservatives, the tolerant left is coming after you!

As an alumnae and fan of the University of Alabama, who won the national championship for the 2015 football season, I sometimes get irked when our rivals only chant, “Beat Bama.” Would it hurt you to occasionally cheer for your own team instead of being constantly obsessed by the Crimson Tide?

This obsession by Alabama’s opponents reminds me of the obsession the “tolerant left” has with conservatives, Christians, and Republicans. Because the left can’t win arguments on the merits of the issues, they have to resort to denigrating their opposition, conservatives, Christians, and Republicans.

One of the first times I took on a liberal was on Facebook where I indicated that all the Democrat party cared about was getting as many folks dependent on the government as possible. This liberal then started accusing me of hating people that were receiving benefits from the government, including Social Security and Medicare. This person was a Ph.D. and well-informed regarding political matters, but still it didn’t seem that she was able to read and understand what I was writing. Like I do with most liberals, I had to ask her to go back and re-read what I wrote. I doubt she did because she just kept on with her false accusations that were totally off the subject of my post. I admit that I was shook up after our exchange and had second thoughts about continuing this blog.

In the following months, I learned that discussions with liberals followed mostly the same path. Because liberals don’t care anything about facts and statistics, they can’t discuss an issue with any sort of reasonableness. Therefore, they get emotional and accuse you of hating the poor, hating minorities, hating public education, not wanting people to have access to healthcare, etc. Then they call you names. I’ve been called the following names: nut case, moron, idiot, ignoramus, buffoon, brain dead, and others. Because of their intense hatred for Fox Cable News, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, etc., they will denigrate you for watching Fox or listening to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. I was having a back and forth with two liberals about six months ago. After I had won the argument, one of the liberals addressed the other liberal saying, “give it up, she probably thinks Fox News is real news.”

Because facts and statistics are hard to remember and liberals will be shrill and emotional when they come at you, it might be a good idea to keep a few notes in your wallet or on your phone.

A few issues to keep in mind include energy policy, foreign policy, healthcare, ISIS, immigration, and race relations. These are a few of many things that Obama has messed up. In fact, Obama has messed up everything he has touched since becoming president.

So, my fellow conservatives, Christians, gun owners, Trump supporters, be brave and be strong, and continue to read Wing Nut Gal.

You can win arguments with the left, it’s not hard to do. Just don’t get discouraged when you’re called names and accused of things that just aren’t true. It’s a fact that liberals are not tolerant of different points of view. They are also much more racist and bigoted than conservatives. And if you really want to make one mad and perhaps defriend you, point out to them how racist and bigoted they actually are. This seems to drive them crazy. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re strong and confident. We’ll weather the storm.
