AMERICA GONE

America Gone… gone with the wind, and she won’t ever come back again.

In late summer of 2016, I told some people that my outlook for the future was bleak. Donald Trump had been selected as the Republican nominee for President of the United States. No media outlets, including Fox News were giving him a snowball’s chance of beating Democrat nominee, Hillary Clinton.

Under current President, Barack Obama, the fiber of America had changed. We were rapidly becoming a socialist nation. Obama and his Democrat henchmen were advocating and accomplishing re-distribution of wealth, open borders, passive foreign policy, further restrictions on gun control, the shut down of the country’s energy producing capacity, severe environmental regulations, single payer healthcare, etc. Things that make the skin crawl of most conservative Americans.

The election of Hillary Clinton would continue these practices, perhaps causing this once great nation to flirt with Communism governance.

But Clinton lost to Donald Trump, whose campaign motto was “Make America Great Again.” While I admittedly was not Donald Trump’s biggest supporter, I voted for him and felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders when Fox News, early on the morning of November 9, called the presidential race for Donald Trump. Actually, I was ecstatic, we would not have Hillary Clinton as president.

During the campaign and days leading up to his inauguration, I wasn’t sure what kind of president Mr. Trump would be. I knew he had a somewhat liberal past. Furthermore, he was a pure businessman, straight out of the private sector. He had never held a position in the public sector, much less been elected to public office. I expected him to stumble as he transitioned from private enterprise to public service. In fact, I expected numerous stumbles.

What I didn’t expect was the seething hate emanating from the left and the main stream media. I also didn’t expect a concerted effort from the moment it was evident that he would be the next President of the United States, to remove him from office and perhaps seat Clinton as president.

Not only are Democrats a bunch of whiney babies who can’t get over the fact that America elected Donald Trump as her president, they are overtly working toward destroying the United States of America. With the main stream media as their comrades, it appears that there is no stopping them.

Democrats are hypocrites, they have no principles, no guidelines by which to live and conduct their business. How they act is what serves their needs and desires of the moment. When George W. Bush ran for president, his ability to get into the Air National Guard at the height of the Viet Nam war was questioned. Did he get special treatment because he was of Bush lineage? I thought to myself, at least the Democrats can’t say anything about Bush’s military service, Clinton was an out and out draft dodger. But they did. They were out in full force. Former journalist and CBS Anchor, Dan Rather, even falsified documents to suggest that Bush’s military service was less than honorable. Rather was eventually fired for this fabrication.

I saw a meme on Facebook today that suggested President Trump, in dealing with sanctuary cities which are violating federal immigration laws, do as President John Kennedy did in the sixties when Alabama governor, George Wallace, stood at the door of Foster Auditorium on the campus of the University of Alabama to prevent two black students from being admitted to the University, call in the national guard.

The Democrats still remember this and applaud the actions of President Kennedy. Today the most popular guys on campus at UA are black, but that doesn’t matter to the left. They still love to remind everyone who lives in the state of Alabama, even if they weren’t alive at that time, and everyone who has ever attended the University of Alabama about this incident. And somehow, we’re all responsible for what George Wallace did.

What if the president did send in the national guard to these cities. How would the liberals and the mainstream media act? I think we know .

Nothing President Trump can say or do will serve to minimize the virulent hatred toward him, his family, his administration, and his supporters by the nation’s left. Furthermore, nothing can be done to stop the Democrat party, with their cohorts in the mainstream media, in their quest to destroy the United States of America by turning the United States of America into a socialist/Communist nation. America gone with the left.

It’s been said, that if you tell a lie enough times, it becomes the truth in people’s minds. The Democrats are going to continue to lie, lie, lie. With the help of the mainstream media, those lies will become the truth. “War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength.” (George Orwell in his novel, “1984”)

The Democrat party in conjunction with the mainstream media is going to continue their hate-fest, and their efforts to unseat Donald Trump as President of the United States. Furthermore, with regards to their hatred of the United States of America, they want to destroy this country, turning us into, as I said above, a socialist/communist country where no one prospers, no one is free, and the Democrats have control over every aspect of our lives from what we say to what we eat, to how we dress, to what we drive, etc. America gone.

Under President Trump, the military is strengthening, free trade is here, the stock market is rising, the United States is heading toward becoming the world’s leading energy producer, those who want a job can get a job, businesses, free of burdensome taxes and regulations, are thriving. The Democrats hate this, and the Democrats, with their comrades in the mainstream media will do everything in their power to top this trend because they hate you, they hate anyone who disagrees with them, and they will stop at nothing to destroy you, and destroy me.

This is the way it’s going to be folks, America gone. I wish I could be more optimistic. The Democrat party is out to destroy, destroy, destroy.

The truth will set us free, but Democrats are going to do what they can to smother the truth because they hate the truth.

We have to continue preaching the truth, no matter what the Democrats do to stop us. We must keep adhering to the Judeo-Christian values on which this country was founded, and which the Democrats seek to annihilate. We must also continue to stand and sing the national anthem, no matter what steps the Democrats take to try and stop us. Just do it.

Brothers and sisters, lovers of freedom and of the United States of America, persevere.

WOMEN MARCHING

The above meme appeared on my Facebook newsfeed. I responded as follows:

“I haven’t mocked, but I have certainly complained about the women who have, in the past year or so, marched on Washington and other major cities including Birmingham, and most recently, Mentone. Most of the rhetoric appears to be rooted in hate. Hate for Donald Trump, hate for his administration, hate for his family, hate for his supporters, hate for men in general, especially white men, and anyone who does not agree with Democrat party politics.

When asked why they were marching, I heard various comments. Some said they were marching for equal rights for women. While you wouldn’t hear it from the left, women have had equal rights over a generation. Donald Trump and his administration haven’t taken any rights away from women that I know of. Nor do I get the feeling that they are planning to do so. And I haven’t heard of any conservative women complaining about the women of past generations who fought for women’s rights.

As I indicated above most conservative women, me included, feel that the women participating in these marches, especially the ones who are dressing up in female body parts and shouting obscenities are an embarrassment and will hurt, rather than help, women.

I was totally disgusted with the messages of Madonna and Ashley Judd during the Washington women’s march the day after President Trump was inaugurated. I also remember one obscene placard directed at Vice President, Mike Pence. It was so awful that I won’t print one word of it.

Having said the above, things are not perfect for anyone, and they are not going to be until Jesus returns and sets up his 1000 year reign on earth.

There are inequities, sure. But Civil Rights Legislation was passed in the early sixties with the purpose of making it illegal to pay men more than women for equal work. Do all employers obey those laws? Of course not. But it’s also not going to benefit anyone to pass unneeded laws and blanket companies with expensive compliance regulations. Again, the laws are already there. If someone finds herself in an unequitable situation, perhaps she should look for another job. When she finds one, definitely tell her current employer why she is leaving. If a company gets the reputation of practicing inequities and ignoring laws already on the books, that company will eventually have a hard time getting anyone to come to work for them and stay with them.

I’ve heard women saying that the government or their employer should pay for their birth control. I’ve also heard women complain about having to purchase feminine hygiene products and/or having to pay sales tax (regulated by the states) on such items. To get this changed, it is absolutely, positively not necessary to dress up in female body parts and should obscenities. Contact your Congressman/woman. Get petitions signed, talk to your representatives or to their advisors. Follow through. Women are a major force in the country today.

The part of the me regarding birth control is wrong. Birth control pills were developed in the sixties and I don’t recall the government ever banning them. Devices like the diaphragm have been around forever. Our mothers and grandmothers used them. I don’t recall the government ever banning their use.  No one marched, to the best of my knowledge for the right to use birth control.

Again, if any woman or group of women thinks some things need to be changed or additional legislation needs to be passed to make things better, there are methods and procedures in place to bring about change in a professional manner.

Running around in costumes depicting female body parts, exuding hate, and shouting obscenities is not the way to get things changed.”

For responding in this manner, I was unfriended on FB and subjected to a certain amount of hateful rhetoric. I was called dumb, disgusting, disturbing, and sad.

Furthermore, I didn’t diminish the things for which these women and their colleagues are marching. I merely suggested that in “this day and age,” it shouldn’t be necessary to dress up in female body parts and scream obscenities to right what is a perceived wrong. Everyone has elected representatives whose job it is to serve their constituents. Talk to your elected representatives, submit any petitions you have had signed and any research you have done, and follow up.

The sad part about this is that most of us can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. The United States is a divided nation along ideological lines. While there is certainly hate on both sides, my research has demonstrated that there is far more hate on the left than on the right. Can Republicans and Democrats ever again  sit down and discuss their differences with spirited debates? That remains to be seen.

ALABAMA – MEET YOUR NEW SENATOR, DOUG JONES

Yes, one of the deepest red states in the union, one of the most intense pro-life states in the union, and one of the most evangelical states in the union elected its first Democrat senator in twenty-five years. All the pundits predicted a Roy Moore win, even though Judge Moore was beaten and bruised via a series of accusations from women who said Moore sexually harassed and assaulted them when they were young girls. One of the women claims to have been fourteen when Judge Moore allegedly touched her inappropriately and forced her to touch him. Those pundits were wrong, just like they were wrong in the 2016 presidential election when almost all predicted a Clinton win. Now, Alabama has Senator Elect, Doug Jones, a liberal Democrat whose stands on the issues align with those of the far left.

The largest county in Alabama, Jefferson County, the county of the city of Birmingham, went for Obama in 2012 and Clinton in 2016. While I expected Jefferson County to go for Doug Jones, I never expected the gap to be as wide as it was….68% Doug Jones to 30% Roy Moore. In my county of residence, Shelby county, just south of Jefferson, and a conservative/Republican stronghold, Moore was on top, but only 56% to 42%. Montgomery County, the county of the capital, went for Doug Jones by a margin of 72% to 27%.

What happened in these populous counties? It appears that many Republicans stayed at home. It also appears that many women, who normally vote Republican, in these counties cast their votes for Doug Jones. There were also approximately 22,000 write-ins with the vote differential being between 21,000 and 22,000. It is worth noting that the major metropolitan areas in Alabama put Doug Jones over the top. I think it’s also safe to say that had the accusations not surfaced, Roy Moore would have won hands down and there would have been less than five minutes of coverage on the cable news channels.

Having said the above, Roy Moore doesn’t have a lot of appeal in the larger metropolitan areas of the state. His admirers and supporters are generally evangelical Christians from rural areas. Judge Moore has been involved in Alabama politics for decades and has been quite a colorful character. His folksy style, while appealing to rural GOP voters, doesn’t appeal to many who dwell in the larger metropolitan areas.

I voted for Roy Moore, though I never sung his praises, because I didn’t want to see the slim margin that Republicans had in the Senate get even slimmer. I need for tax reform to get passed, and I want to see a wall built on the Mexican border.

With four Rinos already in the Senate (McCain, Collins, Flag, and Corker), it was already hard to get legislation passed in the Senate, with Doug Jones now there, it’s going to get even harder. I just hope they can get, at least, tax reform passed before the Senator elect is seated. I also hope that Trump’s judgeship nominations are not held up, especially if he has the opportunity to appoint a Supreme Court Justice.

I’ve listened to talking heads to the point that my head is about to explode. Fox News has reported that Donald Trump was in a good mood today in anticipation of tax reform getting through the House and Senate and arriving on his desk. I sure hope Congress will do its job and get this piece of legislation to the president before Doug Jones is seated in the Senate, because he would surely vote against it. It goes without saying that Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, is ecstatic because he won’t have to open an investigation into the allegations.

On the evening of November 25, I was lying on my bed in my Orange Beach, Alabama hotel room, in a fetal position crying. My beloved Crimson Tide had lost to hated cross-state rival, Auburn Tigers. This meant that we wouldn’t be playing for the SEC Championship and we would probably not be a part of the College Football playoff. Instead, we might be going to the Cotton Bowl…the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Cotton Bowl?” After much praying, look at what God did. We did get chosen for the playoffs.

There’s still some stuff going on and developments are taking place. God is in control always. He puts Kings in power, and he removes Kings from power. It’s all in his plan. Let’s all settle down, stay the course, and continue to pray for our country’s leaders and continue to and praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

LYING WITH A PURPOSE

Trial lawyers, while trying cases, often utilize a slick trick to sway a jury. An attorney for one side will ask the witness an improper question, knowing the opposing attorney will object and the objection will be sustained. Even though the witness was not allowed to answer the question, the jury heard the question and can’t possibly un-hear it.

Democrats, in a concerted effort to destroy the Donald Trump presidency constantly lie about the president, his administration, Republicans in general, and Trump supporters. They lie, they know they’re lying, and they don’t care that they’re lying.

Not all citizens are as politically astute as I am, and my readers are. They’re clueless when it comes to current events and politics, only getting what little knowledge they have from snippets of news they hear in passing. They may watch part of the evening network news before tuning in to their favorite sitcoms and dramas on TV after eating dinner. Then it’s off to bed. Rinse and repeat.

It’s these folks that liberals are targeting. The liberal media, including the networks, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe, etc. run a story that everyone knows is a lie. So, what, if it’s a lie. They want the folks I described above to hear it or read it and think,” Gee, this president is an awful person to say the things he says.” Two or three days later the truth come out that the president didn’t actually say that, or what he said was taken out of context. A retraction may be run correcting the record, or not.

The Democrats have achieved their goal. People like I described above heard the original story, but there’s a good chance they didn’t hear the truth.

Like I’ve been saying for years, Democrats don’t care about the truth. They tell lies and they know they are telling lies. It’s okay, though. They have each other’s’ backs. They have their own little lying clique. No one inside the clique is going to call them out or say the false story should not have been run.

Yes, conservatives and conservative media are going to call them out. Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Tucker Carlson, all the way down to Nancy Graham are going to investigate and obtain the truth. But how many of the people I described above follow Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Tucker Carlson, etc? Virtually none. And because Rush, Sean, Bill, Tucker, etc. are continuous targets for the left to direct their venomous hate, most of the above folks would rather be struck dead than spend even a few minutes listening the these talking heads. They have no interest in pursuing other angles, it’s time for “Dancing with the Stars.”

MORE ABOUT WHITE SUPREMACY IN THE UNITED STATES

Rush Limbaugh does it, Sean Hannity does it, Tucker Carlson does it, Bill O’Reilly does it and most every conservative pundit and talking head does it. What do they do? Before beginning a discussion on the recent demonstrations and protests such as Charlottesville, Boston, and Berkley, all folks participating in the discussion must first denounce white supremacy, white nationalism, neo-Nazism. For to not do so, would signal to the left in this country that you are not only a hater, but a white supremacy/white nationalist/neo-nazi yourself.  And once the left labels you as such, lack of evidence notwithstanding, you’re done.

As I indicated in my August 16 article, entitled, “Condemn the white groups first, forget the rest,” the citizens of the United States of America have been conditioned by the left that racism by whites or white groups, particularly white nationalists/white supremacists if the sin that can possible be committed on the planet, and anyone found guilty of this sin must die.

If a white nationalist group and a left wing radical group such as Antifa which has its roots in the old Occupy Wall Street movement and is a communist based organization, collide, you sure can’t blame both sides and let it go at that. You must first denounce the white supremacists/white nationalists/neo-Nazis as the biggest threat this country faces, forget about Kim Jung Un and a nuclear Korea, or the Islamic terrorist state of Iran and their continued violations of the treaty former President, Barack Obama made with them.

I also mentioned in my previous article that I had heard some talking head indicating that the number of white supremacists/white nationalists/neo-Nazis in this country numbered about 100,000. Plus, if there are regular cross-burnings and lynchings taking place in the country, I haven’t heard about it, and I live in central Alabama, the Birmingham area, to be exact. Furthermore, I’m not hearing of any Jewish people being rounded up and sent to concentration camps, have you? If cross burnings, lynchings, and the imprisonment of Jews are common place in this country, wouldn’t CNN, MSNBC, or other left-leaning media outlets be broadcasting it instead of Russia, Russia, Russia, and first lady, Melania Trump’s choice of shoes?

My point is that I don’t see these white supremacist/white nationalist/neo-Nazi groups as that prevalent or dangerous. Could they become dangerous and a threat to Americans? I’m sure, if provoked enough, they could. But right now, Antifa, the MS-13 gangs, and even Black Lives Matter are a bigger domestic threat to Americans than any of the various white supremacist/white nationalist/neo-Nazi groups. And let’s not forget ISIS or also known as the Islamic State, which had its origins in the vacuum created in Iraq when former President Barack Obama pulled troops out of that country. To date, ISIS is the evilest terrorist group on the planet, and they have a presence in the United States. Also worth mention are the Taliban, the Muslim Brotherhood (a favorite of former President Barack Obama), and Al Qaeda.

While we are all familiar with the Black Panthers, Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, and now MS-13 and Antifa, before the Charlottesville melee and “Unite the Right,” except for the Ku Klux Klan, I couldn’t name any individual white supremacist groups. Once again, they are just not that prevalent and practically no incidents of a national news level can be contributed to these groups.

We have recently discovered that the son of Vice Presidential nominee, Tim Kaine, is a member of Antifa, and was arrested at the Minnesota State Capitol in March after disrupting a pro-Trump rally (According to Gateway Pundit). Children, even raised in the best of homes often go astray as did young Linwood Kaine. But, can you imagine if it had been discovered that the son or daughter of a prominent Republican was participating in a so-called White Nationalist group. CNN, MSNBC, and other MSM outlets would have a field day. Most likely, half of their time would be spent on “Russia, Russia, Russia, and the other half spent on the Republican’s son or daughter. And this would take place after the prominent Republican condemned, condemned, and condemned the actions of his offspring. To date, I am not aware That Tim Kaine has condemned the behavior of his son.

It’s hard to find statistics on White Nationalist groups. Cursory Google searches virtually turn up nothing. While searches for statistics on international terrorism, including acts committed on U.S. soil by individuals linked to foreign terrorist organizations, yields a gold mine, according to Sarah Tate Chambers in an August 17, 2017 article in lawfareblog.com. In Search of Data on White Supremacist Violent Crime.

Left wing smear merchant, Slate.com, in an article entitled “The Long List of Killings Committed by White Extremists Since the Oklahoma City Bombing,” published on August 14, 2017, tells us that in the two decades since Timothy McVeigh’s attack killing 168 in Oklahoma City, the Southern Poverty Law Center has created a list of thirty-five deadly attacks, rending 74 victims, carried or believed to be carried out by white extremists. You can read the list for yourself. The Long List of Killings Committed by White Extremists Since the Oklahoma City Bombing.  Key words here are “carried or believed to be carried out.” We don’t know if all of these killings were white supremacist based. Furthermore, these are single incidents carried by either one person or only a few people It’s not surprise that Slate pontificates on how egregious this is, thirty-five attacks in twenty years. I wonder if Slate has ever written about the bloodshed in the south side of Chicago that occurs on a nightly basis where scores of black lives have been taken and continue to be taken.

In an article on revealnews.org, a piece was written outlining an interview Reveal’s host, Al Letson had with known and admitted White Nationalist, Richard Spencer. Of course, to the left, Spencer is Adolph Hitler incarnate. Without dissecting the article, my take is that Richard Spencer indeed believes that those of white European descent are superior to those who are not. He doesn’t believe in the mixing of the races and believes that the so-called mixing has not worked well. Thus, he claims to have a long-term dream of an “ethnostate,” a territory set aside for people of European descent.

The piece on Reveal links to another article on Mother Jones, another far left smear merchant site. Among other things, the article in Mother Jones indicates that Spencer envisions a future for the United States along the lines of a “renewed Roman Empire,” a dictatorship where the main criteria for citizenship would be whiteness. Meet the White Nationalist Trying to Ride the Trump Train to Lasting Power.

While this Mother Jones article is replete with lies and half-truths, particularly about President Trump, the writing does not paint Richard Spencer as a violent or otherwise dangerous person. And if he were, I have no doubt that Mother Jones would get that in there somehow, or perhaps devote the entire piece to it. If he walked into a restaurant where I was dining, would I be scared that he would pull out a gun and start shooting? No. Would I want him seated at a table or booth next to me? No, again. If I were a non-white, how would I feel. I can’t answer that because I am white. But I think I would feel much the same way. Spencer has extreme weird philosophies that are not shared by most Americans. In other words, they are out of the mainstream of thought. But again, there is no indication that he is violent or dangerous. And for his statement in Reveal that he sees “the election of President Trump as a precursor to white identity politics becoming an overt and welcome part of mainstream conversation in America for the first time,” is a red herring. How many pot-smoking, anti-establishment former “long haired hippie-type,” baby-boomers saw the election of former President, Bill Clinton, as way to re-establish their sixties’ radicalism? How many supporters of former President, Barack Obama, felt that, as America’s first black president, even though he was only half-black, they could undeniably declare their hatred for the United States of America and be given credence?

I can’t envision the current White Nationalist/neo-Nazi movement as anything to quake and shake over. In Charlottesville, the group “Unite the Right” had a permit to protest both Friday night and Saturday. It wasn’t until Saturday when Antifa and Black Lives Matter got into the mix that things deteriorated and one woman was killed. Yes, “Unite the Right” carried tiki torches and shouted pro-Nazi rhetoric on Friday night, and did the same, sans the tiki torches on Saturday. Had these white nationalists been left alone to protest the removal of Robert E Lee’s statute and the renaming of that park, I firmly believe they would have “done their thing” and dispersed.

Antifa has participated in many demonstrations where violence and the destroying of property and the injuring human beings was intentional. So has Black Lives Matter. And to the left, these groups should be given accolades because they dared to take on white nationalists who were legally parading around and chanting slogans, but not destroying property or injuring other people.

The average liberal might say to me, “the white nationalists, while marching in Klan-like fashion and chanting pro-Nazi rhetoric, even though they were not destroying property or physically injuring people, were offending many people to the point where their victims could be emotionally damaged for life.” Cry me a river. While I certainly don’t desire to downplay that people can be damaged by emotional abuse, particularly when the abuse comes from a loved one such as a parent or a spouse, or by situations of constant, over the years, bullying by peers or classmates, a couple of hours of listening to chants where you might be the subject of those chants, especially when you can leave the scene and not listen or watch anymore, pales in comparison.

Is it a sin to hate, even if the hate doesn’t manifest itself in the form of physical violence? Absolutely. Is it a sin to offend someone/hurt someone’s feelings? Absolutely again. We’re all going to be judged on these things one fine day, though. In the meantime, why are we wasting all this media time on white nationalist groups when most people can’t name even one specific group, and violence collectively by these groups doesn’t really exist? When, on the other hand, groups such as Antifa, Black Lives Matter, the Black Panthers, ISIS, etc. have histories of destroying property and injuring people, but the left, including the MSM, and even some conservatives tout these groups as being admirable?
