STATISTICAL ANALYSIS: ALABAMA SENATORIAL ELECTION

Today, January 3, 2018, newly elected United States Senator, Doug Jones is scheduled to be confirmed into the United States Senate. You will recall that Doug Jones, a Democrat beat Roy Moore, a Republican, in the December 12, 017, special Alabama senatorial election, held to replace the senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions after Sessions was chosen and confirmed as United States Attorney General. This was the first time in twenty-five years that the people of Alabama had elected a Democrat to represent them in the United States Senate.

All eyes throughout the United States were on the special Alabama senatorial election. The Republican majority was a slim one, 52 – 48. Plus, this majority contained four RINOs, who could not be counted on to vote on republican sponsored legislation. These four RINOs include John McCain, Susan Collins, Jeff Flake, and Bob Corker. It was Senator McCain’s last-minute vote no that doomed the repeal/replace of Obamacare. Should Alabama elect a Democrat in the Alabama senatorial election, the Republican majority in the Senate would be cut in half.

Though the primaries and run-off, top candidates included current appointed Senator Luther Strange, Representative Mo Brooks, and former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice, Roy Moore, with Judge Moore coming out on top. Thus, the general election would be between Judge Moore and Democrat nominee Doug Jones.

While he claims to be a conservative with Alabama values, Jones is anything but. His stands on the issues are parallel with the stands of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. While Roy Moore can be described as eccentric when it comes to his Christian faith and his politics, and many Republicans don’t care for him and his attention-getting ways, Judge Moore was sure to be elected in the special Alabama senatorial election with no difficulty. Needless to say, most every Democrat hated Judge Moore. I even had a friend who would shake with hatred at the mention of his name.

Just like clockwork, on November 9, the Washington Post ran a story where a woman claimed that Judge Moore initiated a sexual encounter with her when she was fourteen years old and he was thirty-two. Subsequently other women came forward with stories depicting improper sexual advances made by Judge Moore against them. The nature of Judge Moore’s alleged actions ranged from simply asking several teenage girls out on dates when he was in his thirties to the woman who claimed that she was forced to inappropriately touch Judge Moore and he inappropriately touched her when she was fourteen. While Moore denied these accusations, he was unable to prove them false. Even though there were questions as to whether or not these women were telling the truth, with one woman actually admitted she was paid to lie, questions were put in the mind of many Alabama voters. Thus, many Republican votes that, under normal circumstances, could be taken for granted, weren’t there for the December 12 special Alabama senatorial election.

Judge Roy Moore lost the election by a mere 22,000 votes. Many otherwise Republican voters cast their votes for Doug Jones, probably ignorant of his stands on the issues, didn’t bother to vote, or wrote in a different candidate. In fact, the number of write-in votes, was just about equal to the vote differential.

When the allegations against Roy Moore surfaced, Democrats began salivating, and worked to get out the vote for Doug Jones.

With a state that overwhelming voted for Donald Trump in November 2016, some found it hard to believe that Alabama could elect a Democrat to the United States Senate. As soon as the election results were in, the Democrats cranked up their spin/lie machine declaring that the election was a referendum on President Donald Trump and the results proved that Donald Trump was losing what little popularity he had with the American electorate. The Democrats also claimed that Alabama, a once solid red state was now starting to turn blue. Of course, none of the above is true. In no way is Alabama turning blue nor is Alabama turning against President Donald Trump. Democrats lie, we all know that.

With such a slim vote differential, could there have been some fraud? I think that’s a given. Democrats in Alabama have been known to bus voters living in Democrat districts to the polls after giving them envelopes containing cash. Democrats claim there was no voter fraud in the special Alabama senatorial election. We all know, though, had Roy Moore won by 22,000 votes, the Democrats would have been screaming “voter fraud” to the tops of their lungs.

The analysis by top Alabama Republican officials indicated that many voters, especially women voters, in the upscale suburbs of Alabama’s larger metropolitan areas, either stayed at home, voted for Doug Jones, or wrote in someone. Thousands of women just couldn’t bring themselves to vote for accused Roy Moore, even though the accusations could not be proven.

After this turn of events and listening to the Democrat lies, I did an analysis of my own, looking at vote totals for the Senate election and vote totals for the 2016 presidential election.

Election Results by County

The counties who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 include Bullock, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Russell, Sumter, and Wilcox.

It is interesting to note that in Jefferson County, the most populous county in Alabama, the county of the city of Birmingham, and the county of the toney suburbs of Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills, Hoover, and Homewood, 130, 614 votes were cast for Donald Trump in November 2016, while just 66,309 votes were cast for Roy Moore in the special Alabama senatorial election. That’s a difference of 64, 305. Many people who would have most likely voted for Roy Moore if there had been no allocations, failed to cast their votes for him.

Something else interesting about Jefferson County is the 149,522 votes cast for Doug Jones when 151,583 votes were cast for Hillary Clinton in Jefferson County. Remember, this was a special election, and in special elections, you can almost always see a decline in the number of voters participating. Sure, many of the votes in Jefferson County for Trump in 2016 were cast for Jones on 12/12/2017. But this just looks a little odd to me. Furthermore, the number of votes cast in the special Alabama senatorial election is 76% of the number of votes cast in the 2016 presidential election. With the exceptions of Marengo, Russell, and Sumter, the counties voting for Clinton in 2016 had percentages greater than 70 when comparing the number of votes cast in the senate election to the number of votes cast in the presidential election. For counties where Trump had the most votes in the presidential election, the percentages ranged from mid-fifties to mid-sixties.

Other counties which looked interesting include Baldwin County, home to the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast beaches and many wealthy individuals. In Baldwin County, Clinton got 18,409 votes in 2016 while Jones got 22,131 votes in the Alabama senatorial election. In the county where I was born and raised, Cullman County, Jones got more votes in the senate election than Clinton did in the presidential election: 3730 to 4156. I don’t know if any Democrat has ever thought of Cullman County as ripe for voter fraud, but it is.

It’s also interesting to examine the two major college counties in the state, Tuscaloosa, home to the University of Alabama and Lee, home to Auburn University. Lee went for Trump in the presidential election, but most of the votes were cast for Jones in the senate election. Lee County is a traditional conservative stronghold with Auburn University being one of the most conservative major higher learning institutions in the United States. Trump received 34,321 votes while Moore received just 14, 017 votes. This seems “major strange” to me. While Clinton did receive more votes than Jones in the elections in Tuscaloosa county, 47, 701 cast votes for Clinton in the presidential while only 22,064 cast votes for Roy Moore.

Was the special Alabama senatorial election replete with fraud.? I don’t know. Was there some element of fraud in the election? I’d take that bet because there’s some degree of fraud in every election. When I suggested that there might be some fraud involved on a social media thread, I was quickly told that I didn’t know what I was talking about. There’s no fraud. Like I said above, if Judge Moore had won, this person would be alleging fraud until the cows come home.

While some of the numbers I’ve put together are indeed interesting, I believe that the state GOP party bosses were indeed correct. Women from many upscale suburbs in populous metropolitan areas either voted for Doug Jones, stated at home, or wrote someone’s name in. Furthermore, I’m going to go out on a “sexist” limb and say that many of these women have no clue when it comes to issues, and no clue about majorities in legislative bodies. They vote Republican because their husbands tell them to or they grew up in Republican families and always voted Republican.

I know that’s a bit harsh and I’ve already been told that’s sexist. But I consider my political acumen a 7.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. Most people out there wouldn’t even measure up to a five, even people who belong to political organizations. When voters, particularly women voters, heard about the accusations made against Roy Moore, they flatly refused to vote for him.

One thing is for sure, and many media outlets, including some conservative talking heads are getting it wrong. Alabama values haven’t changed. Alabama is not transitioning from a Republican state to a Democrat state, and the people of Alabama are not disillusioned with President Trump. The Alabama Senate seat went to a Democrat because the Republican candidate is alleged to have committed sexual improprieties on numerous occasions.

Doug Jones, who has claimed that he may vote with Republicans some of the time (I won’t believe it until I see it), will be up for re-election in 2020. I believe it’s safe to say that he won’t get re-elected.

ALABAMA – MEET YOUR NEW SENATOR, DOUG JONES

Yes, one of the deepest red states in the union, one of the most intense pro-life states in the union, and one of the most evangelical states in the union elected its first Democrat senator in twenty-five years. All the pundits predicted a Roy Moore win, even though Judge Moore was beaten and bruised via a series of accusations from women who said Moore sexually harassed and assaulted them when they were young girls. One of the women claims to have been fourteen when Judge Moore allegedly touched her inappropriately and forced her to touch him. Those pundits were wrong, just like they were wrong in the 2016 presidential election when almost all predicted a Clinton win. Now, Alabama has Senator Elect, Doug Jones, a liberal Democrat whose stands on the issues align with those of the far left.

The largest county in Alabama, Jefferson County, the county of the city of Birmingham, went for Obama in 2012 and Clinton in 2016. While I expected Jefferson County to go for Doug Jones, I never expected the gap to be as wide as it was….68% Doug Jones to 30% Roy Moore. In my county of residence, Shelby county, just south of Jefferson, and a conservative/Republican stronghold, Moore was on top, but only 56% to 42%. Montgomery County, the county of the capital, went for Doug Jones by a margin of 72% to 27%.

What happened in these populous counties? It appears that many Republicans stayed at home. It also appears that many women, who normally vote Republican, in these counties cast their votes for Doug Jones. There were also approximately 22,000 write-ins with the vote differential being between 21,000 and 22,000. It is worth noting that the major metropolitan areas in Alabama put Doug Jones over the top. I think it’s also safe to say that had the accusations not surfaced, Roy Moore would have won hands down and there would have been less than five minutes of coverage on the cable news channels.

Having said the above, Roy Moore doesn’t have a lot of appeal in the larger metropolitan areas of the state. His admirers and supporters are generally evangelical Christians from rural areas. Judge Moore has been involved in Alabama politics for decades and has been quite a colorful character. His folksy style, while appealing to rural GOP voters, doesn’t appeal to many who dwell in the larger metropolitan areas.

I voted for Roy Moore, though I never sung his praises, because I didn’t want to see the slim margin that Republicans had in the Senate get even slimmer. I need for tax reform to get passed, and I want to see a wall built on the Mexican border.

With four Rinos already in the Senate (McCain, Collins, Flag, and Corker), it was already hard to get legislation passed in the Senate, with Doug Jones now there, it’s going to get even harder. I just hope they can get, at least, tax reform passed before the Senator elect is seated. I also hope that Trump’s judgeship nominations are not held up, especially if he has the opportunity to appoint a Supreme Court Justice.

I’ve listened to talking heads to the point that my head is about to explode. Fox News has reported that Donald Trump was in a good mood today in anticipation of tax reform getting through the House and Senate and arriving on his desk. I sure hope Congress will do its job and get this piece of legislation to the president before Doug Jones is seated in the Senate, because he would surely vote against it. It goes without saying that Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, is ecstatic because he won’t have to open an investigation into the allegations.

On the evening of November 25, I was lying on my bed in my Orange Beach, Alabama hotel room, in a fetal position crying. My beloved Crimson Tide had lost to hated cross-state rival, Auburn Tigers. This meant that we wouldn’t be playing for the SEC Championship and we would probably not be a part of the College Football playoff. Instead, we might be going to the Cotton Bowl…the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Cotton Bowl?” After much praying, look at what God did. We did get chosen for the playoffs.

There’s still some stuff going on and developments are taking place. God is in control always. He puts Kings in power, and he removes Kings from power. It’s all in his plan. Let’s all settle down, stay the course, and continue to pray for our country’s leaders and continue to and praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

DEFINING LIBERALISM

A liberal Facebook friend posted a meme defining liberalism several weeks ago. This definition allegedly was from Webster’s Dictionary and stated the following: “1. Possessing or manifesting a free and generous heart, bountiful. 2. Appropriate and/or fitting for a broad and enlightened mind. 3. Free from narrowness, bigotry or bondage to authority or creed. II.a.1. Any person who advocates liberty of thought, speech, or action. “The liberal FB friend went on to comment that if this was defining liberalism, then she was proud to be a liberal.

definition-liberal-meme-facebook-mcclures-websters

My response back to her was as follows: “So, this is the dictionary definition of liberalism. The liberals I’ve been exposed to have anything but a free and generous heart. Their idea of helping those less fortunate is supporting mostly worthless government programs where the tax dollar goes up the ladder and then down the ladder where only 3 to 5 cents of that dollar actually makes it to the cause. A broad enlightened mine? Free from narrowness, bigotry or bondage to authority or creed? Don’t make me laugh. Liberals are the real racists, bigots, and hypocrites in today’s America. Any person who advocates liberty of thought, speech, or action. Again, don’t make me laugh. Liberals have been fighting free speech and free thought for decades. I don’t know one liberal, not one, who stands for the above.”

In researching the above, I happened upon another defining liberalism meme from The Federalist Papers that states the following:”1. Possessing or manifesting a free and generous heart with the earnings of others; very stingy with their own earnings. 2. Appropriate and/or fitting for a narrow and darkened mind. 3. Free or obligated to be narrow-minded, bigoted or bondage to unlawful authority or immoral creed. II.n 1. Any person who advocates anti-God/Life, pro-murdering, idiotic perversions, pro-tax redistribution of others wealth schemes, anti-American, anti-Family, pro-Marxist, pro-Communist propaganda and Big-Brother government.“

liberals-defined-750

Of course, the above definition was meant to be a spoof, but the meme is certainly defining liberalism in this, the second half of the second decade of the twenty-first century. It has been my observation that a typical liberal is most, if not all the above. Note: If former president Barack Obama can use the term, ‘typical white woman,’ I can use the term, ‘typical liberal.’

Liberals are not that generous, unless it is with someone else’s money. Statistics show that conservatives are more likely to donate to charitable causes and engage is hands-on community service than liberals. Until recently, I was a member of an international service organization. Within the United States, about ninety percent of the members of this organization were conservative/Republican. All liberals I know are extremely narrow-minded and bigoted, not open to new thoughts and ideas, only seeing things the way they want to see them. Furthermore, they have no tolerance for ideas, thoughts, philosophies, etc. unless those ideas, thoughts, and philosophies the same as their ideas, thoughts, and philosophies.

Most atheists and pro-abortion activists are liberal. In defining liberalism, the spoofy Federalist Papers indicates that liberals are ‘pro-murdering.’ Well, that’s not exactly true all the time. Liberals are for killing the unborn who have done nothing to anyone. On the flip-side, most liberals are against capital punishment, the putting to death of those who have destroyed other people’s lives.

Here is a quote by John F. Kennedy from the Good Reads website: “If by a ‘Liberal’ they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people—their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties—someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a ‘Liberal,’ then I’m proud to say I’m a ‘Liberal.’”

This, of course, took place over a generation ago and some of it’s not clear, but it’s certainly different from the dictionary definition quoted in the first paragraph of this article. I would probably be a liberal according to the JFK definition and so would most of my readers, I hope. We care about the welfare of the people, their health, housing, schools, jobs, civil rights, and civil liberties. Liberals say they care about these things, but we know differently. Liberals only want to control your lives…what you say, what you eat, what you drive, your thermostat setting in your house, etc. They think they know more about what’s best for you than you do.

I’m usually working in my office when Sean Hannity airs on Fox News, so I don’t often watch the show, except for snippets. During the last two weeks, though, I’ve watch the show in its entirety for the purpose of determining whether or not what liberals have been saying about his show, that it’s all about hate and vitriol with the segments coming only from far-right hate websites, is true.

Duh! Silly me! Do liberals ever tell the truth? Do they care about the truth? Do they care about facts? I’ve given you a few examples of liberalism defined. Still confused? Don’t be alarmed. It’s fact that liberals change the definition of racism to suit their needs of the moment and don’t hesitate to change it back if later, their needs change. They don’t know what they’re about. All they know is that they hate anyone who doesn’t agree with them and feel that it’s okay to destroy anyone who runs afoul of them, by any means necessary.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE TO MAKE BLACKS HAPPY?

In an article dated 10/20/2016, liberal “smear merchant,” Huffington Post, entitled, “Donald Trump Really Needs to Quit Saying ‘The African Americans.’”

Donald Trump Really Needs To Quit Saying ‘The African Americans’

During the final presidential debate this past Wednesday night, candidate Trump stated the following: “We need law and order, our inner cities are a disaster. You get shot walking to the store. They have no education. They have no jobs. I will do more for African-Americans and Latinos than Hillary Clinton can do in 10 lifetimes. All she’s done is talked to the African Americans and the Latinos.”

Author Lilly Workneh seem to think that this was offensive, with the Republican nominee alluding that all blacks are uneducated, unemployed, and reside in inner cities. Of course, Trump wasn’t saying this. He was illustrating that Democrat nominee, Hillary Clinton, had done nothing to make things better for low income blacks, many of which live in the inner city sections of Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, and other large metropolitan areas throughout the United States.

Even though it was Republicans who were responsible for the passing of the 1964 civil rights legislation, blacks have overwhelmingly voted Democrat, thinking that the Democrat party wants to “help them.” However, because the white folks, particularly those who vote Republican, won’t pay enough money in taxes for entitlement programs such as Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society, these programs aren’t doing what they were designed to do and thus, the percentage of Americans in poverty, particularly black Americans has increased.

Mr. Trump said that we need law and order, our inner cities are a disaster. Does anyone, black or other than black, disagree with this? Trump also said, you get shot walking to the store. They have no education and no jobs. Innocent people regularly get shot in the inner cities because they are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Blacks have continuously voted Democrat because Democrats have continually brain-washed them into thinking that their tax and spend policies are the only mechanisms that will help poor blacks. For a generation, there is no evidence that those tax and spend policies have done one scintilla of good. Now, Donald Trump is asking black to give him a chance, pointing out that the Democrats have not been much help to them. And this is offending them?

Democrats have offered to help low income blacks for more than a generation and to no avail, but when a Republican asks to be given a chance, they get all offended. A related tweet stated the following: “Referring to a diverse community of people as “the African-Americans” shows you have no understanding that they are, in fact, human beings.” Is this person (Michael Fells) for real? This is a real stretch. Someone had to do a whole lot of thinking to come up with this.

Maybe it’s the word, “the,” that’s offensive. I wonder if Donald had left off the work, “the,” would blacks and of course, other liberals, find this offensive.

As I said above, nothing in what Donald Trump said during the third debate even remotely indicated that all blacks are uneducated, unemployed, and live in inner cities. But the same people who get offended by Donald Trump’s words, are the same people who cheered when Hillary Clinton said that half of Donald Trump supporters were a basket of deplorables. Subsequently at least one Democrat operative indicated that she should have said all Trump supporters were a basket of deplorables. In addition be being described as deplorable, liberals have also indicated that Trump supporters are uneducated rednecks. My response to the person who shared the link to this article was as follows: “But I guess it’s okay to call Trump supporters deplorables. Also, I guess it’s okay to label Trump supporters as uneducated red necks. And I guess it was okay for Barak Obama to call those of us who are Christians and support the second amendment, bitter clingers.”

What’s it going to take to make blacks happy? Liberals, including black liberals, claim they want things to change for the better in the inner cities, but a Republican dare not say there are problems in inner cities, and when he or she does, offense is taken. Liberals, including black liberals, seem to insinuate that there are no problems within the inner cities. I guess the only problems blacks have are the isolated incidents where somebody black is killed by somebody white. Then it’s time to mobilize in order to destroy property and injure those poor people who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

This article was contained in a section of the Huffington Post called “Black Voices.” If this is all author Lilly Workneh could muster up, things must be pretty fine among blacks. We know this is not the case. Stupid articles such as this article mask what are real problems, not just in lower income/high crime black communities, but in all low income/high crime communities.

Again, what’s it going to take to make liberal blacks happy? My conclusion is nothing. As long as they give charlatans like Al Sharpton, the Black Lives Matter movement, and Barak Obama a voice, while rejecting Donald Trump and the Republicans who want make their lives better, nothing is going to get any better.

PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE SPEECHES COMPARED

Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, began his acceptance speech stating that we’ll lead our country back to prosperity and peace and that we would be a country of law and order. He further indicated that the Republican convention occurred at a time of crisis for the nation with attacks on police, terrorism in our cities, violence in our streets, and chaos in our communities. Our way of life has been threatened. The above certainly indicates that our country is not a peaceful one.

HillaryTrump

In order to address the above issues, candidate Trump indicated that we needed a straightforward assessment of the state of our nation, and in doing this, we can’t afford to be smothered by political correctness.

Decades of progress made in lowering crime rates have now been reversed by this administration’s rollback of criminal enforcement. Last year homicides increased by 17% in America’s fifty largest cities, the largest increase in 25 years. In Washington D.C. killings have arisen by 50% and are up nearly 70% in Baltimore. In Obama’s hometown of Chicago, more than 2000 have been the victims of shootings this year alone, while more than 3,600 have been killed in the Chicago area since Obama became president.

The number of police officers killed in the line of duty has risen by almost 50%, compared to last year. Nearly 180,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records, ordered deported from this country are roaming free. The number of new illegal immigrant families who have crossed the border so far this year already exceeds the entire total from 2015.

Of course, presidential nomineeHillary Clinton mentioned nothing about the above in her speech except for a small blurb indicating that she wanted to reform our criminal justice system from end to end, and rebuild trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. She wants to reform our criminal justice system, but the current system is the criminal justice system of soon to be ex-President Barak Obama. She’s pledged to continue the policies of Barak Obama and I would assume includes the criminal justice system, which is obviously corrupt, almost always excluding facts if a particular case involves a minority against someone white or a criminal against a law enforcement officer. That’s what liberals advocate. They don’t care about facts or evidence.

Other statistics quoted by Republican presidential nominee Trump include that nearly four in ten African American children are living in poverty while 58% of African American youth are not employed. Two million more Latinos are in poverty today than when Obama took office. Another 14 million Americans have left the workforce entirely. Household incomes are down more than $4000 since the year, 2000. Our manufacturing trade deficit has reached an all-time high. Obama has doubled our national debt to more than 19 million and we have nothing to show for it. Roads and bridges are falling apart. Airports are in third-world condition, and forty-three million Americans are on food stamps. To increase revenue to the federal government, Donald Trump plans to repeal Obamacare and replace it with something less costly and where the quality of healthcare will be higher. He also plans to lower taxes, not only on the middle class, but to cut the corporate tax rate so companies will have less of an incentive to take their operations out of the country.

Hillary states that she and those who are a part of her administration are going to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Isn’t that what Barak Obama was going to do, but his policies failed miserably in that regard? She also states that the economy is so much stronger than when Barak Obama first took office. Obama took office following the crash of 2008. Up until then the economy was doing well. Granted the price of gas had risen. And we all know that if the price of gas rises during a Republican administration, it’s the fault of the Republican president, but if the price of gas rises during a Democrat administration, the president doesn’t have anything to do with gas prices. While yes, the crash occurred under George W. Bush’s watch, the root cause was the social engineering done during the Clinton administration where banks were forced to make high risk loans, so that people who couldn’t afford houses, could now purchase houses. See Wing Nut Gal: Democrat Lies about George W. Bush, Part Three.

There is no economy that will work for everyone. Due to her history and her writings, she favors socialism over our current capitalistic economic system. Capitalism doesn’t work for everyone, but it works for most and produces overall prosperity. Socialism works for no one except for the extreme lower income segment and then produces conditions only slightly above the poverty level for all except the very rich. To achieve her economy which “works for everyone,” she’s going to tax corporations and the super-rich. First of all, define super-rich for us? I believe the way Obama defined it would have a couple, a firefighter and a school teacher in New York City, defined as super-rich. And of course, let’s increase taxes on those evil corporations, corporations who hire people, give people raises, and provide healthcare for those people. Let’s have more and more people losing their jobs so that we can have more and more people on food stamps. In other words, more and more people on the government dole.

Hillary states that Democrats are the party of the working people. NOT TRUE! http://wingnutgal.com/ideology/another-reason-the-democrat-party-is-anti-middle-class/.

Trump went on to indicate that internationally, our citizens have lived through one humiliation after another, such as our sailors being forced to their knees by the Iranian captors at gunpoint, just prior to the signing of Obama’s nuclear deal, which gave back to Iran, $150 billion and gave us nothing resulting in one of the worst deals ever made by the American government. Another humiliation occurred when Obama drew a red line in Syria and the whole world know it meant nothing. In Libya, our consulate was brought down in flames. Trump concluded, like most of us, the world is far less stable since Obama made the decision to put Hillary Clinton in charge of America’s foreign policy.

In 2009, before Hillary, ISIS was not on the map. Libya was cooperating. Egypt was peaceful, and Iraq was seeing a reduction in violence. Iran was being choked by sanctions, Syria was under control. After four years of Hillary Clinton, ISIS has spread across the region and the world. Libya is in ruins, Ambassador Chris Stevens and his staff were left helpless to die at the hands of savage killers. Egypt was turned over to the radical Muslim brotherhood, forcing the military to retake control. Iraq is in chaos. Iran is on the path to nuclear weapons. Syria is engulfed in a civil war. The refugee crisis now threatens the west. The legacy of Hillary Clinton is death, destruction, and weakness.

According to Democrat presidential nominee, Hillary, She’s proud that we have put a lid on Iran’s nuclear program. Ugh! How clueless can you be? She did mention ISIS and her strategy for defeating ISIS will be to strike their sanctuaries from the air, and support local forces taking them out on the ground. We will increase the quality of our intelligence so that we will detect and prevent attacks before they happen. We will disrupt their efforts online to reach and radicalize young people in our country.

No mention of Syria and the refugee crisis, of Libya, and of the four dead in Benghazi, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Not even a mention of the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt and the chaos in Iraq. If she’s elected, it looks like we will have more of the same with Hillary that we had with Obama, the failure to utter the words, “Islamic Terrorism,” the continuous lecturing to the American people to not judge Islam by the actions of a few, and the failure to take the threat of ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups seriously. Instead, will we continue to blame Islamic terrorist attacks that take place on gun violence and call for more gun control laws?

Candidate Trump indicates that he plans to put America first, not globalism. He wants to make our neighborhoods safe, secure our borders, and protect us from terrorism. He will also outline reform to add millions of new jobs and trillions in wealth than can be used to rebuild America. While he doesn’t say how he’s going to do this, I have ascertained that he will increase revenues by decreasing taxes, thus allowing increases in wealth and higher tax revenues to the federal government. When more people have jobs and are prospering, more revenue to the government results.

Whenever Islamic terrorists pull off an attack on American soil, she will lecture us not to judge Muslims on the actions of a few. Subsequently, she will pontificate about gun violence in America and the need for more gun control. I also surmise than conservatives and Christians will somehow be blamed, even if the evidence clearly points to Islamic terrorism.

Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, stated that decades of record immigration have produced lower wages and higher unemployment rates for our citizens, especially for African-American and Latino workers. Thus, he is proposing an immigration system that works for the American people. He has indicated that he will build a wall on the Mexican border to stop illegal immigration and to stop the gangs, violence, and drugs from pouring into our communities. He has further indicated that we will stop, catch, and release on the border and will enforce rules for those who overstay their visas.

Hillary is proposing mass amnesty, mass immigration, and mass lawlessness. Her plan will overwhelm our schools and our hospitals.

Trump went on to indicate in his acceptance speech that he had made billions of dollars in business deals and now he wants to make the country rich again. America has lost nearly one-third of its manufacturing jobs since 1997, following the enactments of NAFTA, signed into law by then President Bill Clinton, and one of the worst economic deals ever made by our country.

Donald also indicated that he wouldn’t let companies move to other countries, firing their employees along the way, without consequences. But, if there’s no incentive for them to stay here, why shouldn’t they move. If he will follow through on his promise to lower the corporate tax rate and make this country a more corporation friendly nation, the migration to foreign safe havens will decrease.

Hillary supported NAFTA and China’s entrance into the World Trade Organization, another mistake. She also supported the job killing trade deal with South Korea and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Donald indicated that he would not sign any trade agreement that hurts our workers or diminishes our freedom and independence.

While Hillary Clinton has proposed a massive tax increase, Donald Trump has proposed the largest tax reduction of any candidate who has declared for the presidential race this year. Middle America will get tax relief and taxes will be simplified for everyone. America is one of the highest taxed nations in the world.

Hillary’s simplistic solution is to tax the super-rich and the evil corporation. Guess she doesn’t care how many Americans lose their jobs, don’t get raises, or have their benefits either reduced or eliminated altogether.

Excessive regulation is one of the greatest job killers according to Donald Trump, costing our country as much as $2 trillion a year. Donald has indicated that he will lift the restrictions on the production energy.

Hillary wants to put coal miners and steel workers out of work, but Donald Trump has so indicated that won’t happen. She’s said this time and time again, even before accepting the Democrat party’s nomination for president. She said in her speech that the Democrat party is for working Americans. To this, I’ve always said BS and will continue to say BS!

Hillary spent much time during her acceptance speech trying to humanize herself, talking about her marriage to Bill, her role as a parent, and her role as a grandmother. She also discussed this nation’s founding fathers, as did Barak Obama in his speech to the Democrat convention delegates and attendees. What gives? I didn’t think we could talk about the founding fathers because they owned slaves. Furthermore, didn’t Obama once say that there were so many things that he would like to impose upon this country and its citizens were it not for the constitution?

She also spent time ripping Donald Trump to shreds. She accused him of calling women pigs. The only time I heard him refer to women as pigs was when he was talking about Rosie O’Donnell. Well, if the shoe fits?

I’ve said this over and over again, “Donald Trump was not my first choice for Republican nominee for president of the United States.” The truth is, however, that we can’t afford another four years or eight years of Barak Obama policies. The current president has almost destroyed the United States of America. With four to eight years of Hillary Clinton, this once great nation will be history. We can’t let that happen. We must take back our country, take it back from those who seek to destroy it. We must create prosperity. This will not happen if we continue to punish those who have made this country great, the private sector job creators and the folks who fill those jobs and work their fingers to the bone in order to succeed and provide good lives for themselves and their families.

While mentioning this country’s founding fathers in their convention speeches, Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton have failed to grasp the principles on which this country was founded, less government intrusion into our lives, and the freedom to succeed according to our goals and desires.

Donald Trump and his campaign has taken a lot of heat from liberals because, according to them, he gave a negative speech, and indicated that he wanted to make this country great again. Yes, he did point to areas where this president has made things worse, and that’s in just about every area of the federal government. Whereas, Hillary’s speech was all rosy with puppies and unicorns. Plus, she listed all the freebies she’s going to give out; such as free, single payer healthcare, college tuition, the guarantee of a good paying job for everyone. Socialist utopia? Isn’t that par for the course? The opposition party points out negatives and how he or she will make things better; whereas, the party in power points out the positives of the administration.

If we elect Hillary Clinton to the presidency, we can kiss the freedoms we once enjoyed as Americans good-bye. With Donald Trump, I see a vision of making American great again. Yes, the United States of America is still the greatest country on earth, but our way of life has taken tremendous hits under the administration of Barak Obama. This must change. Voting for Hillary Clinton or one of the minor candidates, or even staying at home on Election Day is a vote for the demise of the United States of America. Is this what you want?
