MORE ABOUT WHITE SUPREMACY IN THE UNITED STATES

Rush Limbaugh does it, Sean Hannity does it, Tucker Carlson does it, Bill O’Reilly does it and most every conservative pundit and talking head does it. What do they do? Before beginning a discussion on the recent demonstrations and protests such as Charlottesville, Boston, and Berkley, all folks participating in the discussion must first denounce white supremacy, white nationalism, neo-Nazism. For to not do so, would signal to the left in this country that you are not only a hater, but a white supremacy/white nationalist/neo-nazi yourself.  And once the left labels you as such, lack of evidence notwithstanding, you’re done.

As I indicated in my August 16 article, entitled, “Condemn the white groups first, forget the rest,” the citizens of the United States of America have been conditioned by the left that racism by whites or white groups, particularly white nationalists/white supremacists if the sin that can possible be committed on the planet, and anyone found guilty of this sin must die.

If a white nationalist group and a left wing radical group such as Antifa which has its roots in the old Occupy Wall Street movement and is a communist based organization, collide, you sure can’t blame both sides and let it go at that. You must first denounce the white supremacists/white nationalists/neo-Nazis as the biggest threat this country faces, forget about Kim Jung Un and a nuclear Korea, or the Islamic terrorist state of Iran and their continued violations of the treaty former President, Barack Obama made with them.

I also mentioned in my previous article that I had heard some talking head indicating that the number of white supremacists/white nationalists/neo-Nazis in this country numbered about 100,000. Plus, if there are regular cross-burnings and lynchings taking place in the country, I haven’t heard about it, and I live in central Alabama, the Birmingham area, to be exact. Furthermore, I’m not hearing of any Jewish people being rounded up and sent to concentration camps, have you? If cross burnings, lynchings, and the imprisonment of Jews are common place in this country, wouldn’t CNN, MSNBC, or other left-leaning media outlets be broadcasting it instead of Russia, Russia, Russia, and first lady, Melania Trump’s choice of shoes?

My point is that I don’t see these white supremacist/white nationalist/neo-Nazi groups as that prevalent or dangerous. Could they become dangerous and a threat to Americans? I’m sure, if provoked enough, they could. But right now, Antifa, the MS-13 gangs, and even Black Lives Matter are a bigger domestic threat to Americans than any of the various white supremacist/white nationalist/neo-Nazi groups. And let’s not forget ISIS or also known as the Islamic State, which had its origins in the vacuum created in Iraq when former President Barack Obama pulled troops out of that country. To date, ISIS is the evilest terrorist group on the planet, and they have a presence in the United States. Also worth mention are the Taliban, the Muslim Brotherhood (a favorite of former President Barack Obama), and Al Qaeda.

While we are all familiar with the Black Panthers, Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, and now MS-13 and Antifa, before the Charlottesville melee and “Unite the Right,” except for the Ku Klux Klan, I couldn’t name any individual white supremacist groups. Once again, they are just not that prevalent and practically no incidents of a national news level can be contributed to these groups.

We have recently discovered that the son of Vice Presidential nominee, Tim Kaine, is a member of Antifa, and was arrested at the Minnesota State Capitol in March after disrupting a pro-Trump rally (According to Gateway Pundit). Children, even raised in the best of homes often go astray as did young Linwood Kaine. But, can you imagine if it had been discovered that the son or daughter of a prominent Republican was participating in a so-called White Nationalist group. CNN, MSNBC, and other MSM outlets would have a field day. Most likely, half of their time would be spent on “Russia, Russia, Russia, and the other half spent on the Republican’s son or daughter. And this would take place after the prominent Republican condemned, condemned, and condemned the actions of his offspring. To date, I am not aware That Tim Kaine has condemned the behavior of his son.

It’s hard to find statistics on White Nationalist groups. Cursory Google searches virtually turn up nothing. While searches for statistics on international terrorism, including acts committed on U.S. soil by individuals linked to foreign terrorist organizations, yields a gold mine, according to Sarah Tate Chambers in an August 17, 2017 article in lawfareblog.com. In Search of Data on White Supremacist Violent Crime.

Left wing smear merchant, Slate.com, in an article entitled “The Long List of Killings Committed by White Extremists Since the Oklahoma City Bombing,” published on August 14, 2017, tells us that in the two decades since Timothy McVeigh’s attack killing 168 in Oklahoma City, the Southern Poverty Law Center has created a list of thirty-five deadly attacks, rending 74 victims, carried or believed to be carried out by white extremists. You can read the list for yourself. The Long List of Killings Committed by White Extremists Since the Oklahoma City Bombing.  Key words here are “carried or believed to be carried out.” We don’t know if all of these killings were white supremacist based. Furthermore, these are single incidents carried by either one person or only a few people It’s not surprise that Slate pontificates on how egregious this is, thirty-five attacks in twenty years. I wonder if Slate has ever written about the bloodshed in the south side of Chicago that occurs on a nightly basis where scores of black lives have been taken and continue to be taken.

In an article on revealnews.org, a piece was written outlining an interview Reveal’s host, Al Letson had with known and admitted White Nationalist, Richard Spencer. Of course, to the left, Spencer is Adolph Hitler incarnate. Without dissecting the article, my take is that Richard Spencer indeed believes that those of white European descent are superior to those who are not. He doesn’t believe in the mixing of the races and believes that the so-called mixing has not worked well. Thus, he claims to have a long-term dream of an “ethnostate,” a territory set aside for people of European descent.

The piece on Reveal links to another article on Mother Jones, another far left smear merchant site. Among other things, the article in Mother Jones indicates that Spencer envisions a future for the United States along the lines of a “renewed Roman Empire,” a dictatorship where the main criteria for citizenship would be whiteness. Meet the White Nationalist Trying to Ride the Trump Train to Lasting Power.

While this Mother Jones article is replete with lies and half-truths, particularly about President Trump, the writing does not paint Richard Spencer as a violent or otherwise dangerous person. And if he were, I have no doubt that Mother Jones would get that in there somehow, or perhaps devote the entire piece to it. If he walked into a restaurant where I was dining, would I be scared that he would pull out a gun and start shooting? No. Would I want him seated at a table or booth next to me? No, again. If I were a non-white, how would I feel. I can’t answer that because I am white. But I think I would feel much the same way. Spencer has extreme weird philosophies that are not shared by most Americans. In other words, they are out of the mainstream of thought. But again, there is no indication that he is violent or dangerous. And for his statement in Reveal that he sees “the election of President Trump as a precursor to white identity politics becoming an overt and welcome part of mainstream conversation in America for the first time,” is a red herring. How many pot-smoking, anti-establishment former “long haired hippie-type,” baby-boomers saw the election of former President, Bill Clinton, as way to re-establish their sixties’ radicalism? How many supporters of former President, Barack Obama, felt that, as America’s first black president, even though he was only half-black, they could undeniably declare their hatred for the United States of America and be given credence?

I can’t envision the current White Nationalist/neo-Nazi movement as anything to quake and shake over. In Charlottesville, the group “Unite the Right” had a permit to protest both Friday night and Saturday. It wasn’t until Saturday when Antifa and Black Lives Matter got into the mix that things deteriorated and one woman was killed. Yes, “Unite the Right” carried tiki torches and shouted pro-Nazi rhetoric on Friday night, and did the same, sans the tiki torches on Saturday. Had these white nationalists been left alone to protest the removal of Robert E Lee’s statute and the renaming of that park, I firmly believe they would have “done their thing” and dispersed.

Antifa has participated in many demonstrations where violence and the destroying of property and the injuring human beings was intentional. So has Black Lives Matter. And to the left, these groups should be given accolades because they dared to take on white nationalists who were legally parading around and chanting slogans, but not destroying property or injuring other people.

The average liberal might say to me, “the white nationalists, while marching in Klan-like fashion and chanting pro-Nazi rhetoric, even though they were not destroying property or physically injuring people, were offending many people to the point where their victims could be emotionally damaged for life.” Cry me a river. While I certainly don’t desire to downplay that people can be damaged by emotional abuse, particularly when the abuse comes from a loved one such as a parent or a spouse, or by situations of constant, over the years, bullying by peers or classmates, a couple of hours of listening to chants where you might be the subject of those chants, especially when you can leave the scene and not listen or watch anymore, pales in comparison.

Is it a sin to hate, even if the hate doesn’t manifest itself in the form of physical violence? Absolutely. Is it a sin to offend someone/hurt someone’s feelings? Absolutely again. We’re all going to be judged on these things one fine day, though. In the meantime, why are we wasting all this media time on white nationalist groups when most people can’t name even one specific group, and violence collectively by these groups doesn’t really exist? When, on the other hand, groups such as Antifa, Black Lives Matter, the Black Panthers, ISIS, etc. have histories of destroying property and injuring people, but the left, including the MSM, and even some conservatives tout these groups as being admirable?

BACK TO MISOGYNY

My article for this blog, dated 4/10/2017, was entitled, “Back to Racism.” The article outlined another article written by Mehdi Hasan for theintercept.com, entitled, Top Democrats are Wrong: Trump Supporters were more Motivated by Racism than Economic issues. See my article, Back to Racism, April 10, 2017.

Dated April 11, 2017, in an article entitled, Bozell & Graham Column: Hillary Blames Self-Hating Women for her Loss, from newsbusters.org, Brent Bozell and Tim Graham (no relation, to my knowledge) review who Hillary Clinton is holding responsible for her loss in the 2016 presidential election.

According to Bozell and Graham, Hillary Clinton granted her first interview since losing the election on April 6, 2017. The interview took place at the “Women in the World” conference, organized by leftist editor Tina Brown. When the former Secretary of State was introduced by comedian, Samantha Bee, on cue, Ms. Bee genuflected, “You deserve to hear it 100 times, it should have been you.”

Bozell and Graham went on to indicated that the assignment to interview Mrs. Clinton fell to New York Times columnist, Nicholas Kristof. He later wrote a column on his Hillary chat, beginning in the most wrenching, humiliating way possible, Hillary Clinton has been liberated. She is now out of the woods again and speaking her mind.

In fact, the entire leftist population should be humiliated that Hillary, the anointed one, as told to us by the press, lost to Donald Trump, an unenlightened oaf. Mrs. Clinton was one of the most qualified candidates to be president as this nation has ever had.

The feminists at this conference and I would suspect that all of the conference attendees would call themselves feminists, reallywant to know why Americans hate women so deeply, and what is wrong with those self-hating white Republican women.

One of the questions Kristof lobbed at Clinton went like this: “This is a women’s empowerment conference, so I have to ask. Fundamentally, a man who bragged about sexual assault won the election, and with 53 percent of the white women’s vote. How is that, in the 21st century, what does it say about the challenges that one faces in women’s empowerment, that in effect, misogyny won with a lot of women voters?

According to the Newsbusters’ article, Hillary loved this softball question and replied, “Certainly, misogyny played a role. This just has to be admitted.” She and Kristof mulled over what he called “abundant social science research” that we admire men for being ambitious and successful, but find women “less likeable” when they are powerful.

Bozell and Graham state that it has been five months since the election, and the best analysis these people can muster sounds exactly the last weekend of the campaign when Barack Obama told the American people, “Don’t be a sexist. I want you to think about it because she is so much better qualified than the other guy. She has conducted herself so much better in public life than the other guy.”

It is certain no conversation took place between Kristof and the former presidential candidate regarding her husband, the former President of the United States, Bill Clinton’s “targeting of women.” Hillary never allows an interviewer to ask her about her role leading the “Bimbo-Bashing Patrol” to destroy the reputations of her husband’s victims.

Back to what Kristof calls, “abundant social science research.” So, ambitious and successful women are less likeable than their male counterparts? That may have been true in the mid-1970s when it was just becoming fashionable for women to seek careers in what were previously considered “male-only” or “almost male-only” fields. Women often had to take on a more “hardened” facade to get attention and convince her bosses and colleagues that she was indeed worthy of the position.

Fast-forward to the last half of the second decade of the twenty-first century. The hurdles are cleared, the mountains are reduced to rolling hills, the awkwardness has been worked through. Yes, there are still incidents of inequity, but as things have certainly improved since the mid-1970s, they will continue to improve. Nothing is ever going to be perfect, though, until Jesus returns to earth and sets up his 1000-year kingdom.

When women began making headway in the workplace, older male baby boomers, male pre-baby boomers, and World War II generation males still mostly dominated. Many of these men did have a hard time accepting women. They began their careers in male-dominated environments and then suddenly there’s an influx of women, and minorities also. They assumed they would never have to complete with anyone except white males. Many were resentful and were difficult on the women, and the minorities.

Many of those white males are now dead, and the older baby boomers are retiring. In a few years, there will be very few of these men in the workforce. The men who remain will all have begun their careers working with and competing with women. The same is true about minorities. Your forty-five-year-old middle management guy entered the workforce the early to mid-1990s. Sandra Day O’Connor was a Supreme Court Justice, Geraldine Ferraro  made an unsuccessful run for Vice President on the ticket with Walter Mondale, Madeline Albright was Secretary of State, Carol Mosely Braun, a black woman, was elected Senator from Illinois, Jeanne Kirkpatrick was the USA’s Ambassador to the United Nations, and Madeline Albright was the USA’s Ambassador to the United Nations and became Secretary of State in 1997.

I am not buying what Hillary and Kristof are pushing. I will never believe it was misogyny that resulted in Hillary Clinton, the first female nominated by a major political party for president of the United States, losing her bid. Stances on the issues played a major part. While a majority of Americans liked former President, Barack Obama, they did not like the direction in which the country was moving and were not onboard with many of his policies, plus Obama’s economy remained sluggish throughout his presidency. Also, Republican candidate, Donald Trump, a pure businessman, saw regions in traditionally Democrat states where there was substantial dissatisfaction among workers, many of which had lost their jobs after the 2008 crash and were struggling to find work. Candidate Trump went after these voters and convinced them to cast their ballots for him, and they did.

Clinton supporters and still whining about her lost and can’t come to terms with it five months after the election. They’re to be pitied.

CLIMATE CHANGE ALARMISTS

In 2015, then President Barack Obama signed into law, the Clean Power Plan to slow the rate of climate change or global warming. It was to cut carbon pollution from existing power plants. According to townhall.com, it was the first action of the United States government to do so.

Earlier in the week, President Donald Trump signed an executive order, directing the EPA to abolish this legislation. As you can imagine, the left went bonkers.

John Hawkins, in an article on townhall.com, entitled, 5 Reasons It’s Dumb to Panic Over Global Warming, listed quotes from some well-known liberals. Van Jones, Communist, and Obama’s special advisor for Green Jobs, was quoted as saying, “Trump may have just signed a death warrant for our planet (at least, a planet that is livable for humans). And the lies he told to justify it have real consequences for real Americans, her and now.”

Another quote, this time from our friend, Michael More: “Historians in the near future will mark today, March 28, 2017, as the day the extinction of human life on earth began, thanks 2 Donald Trump…Trump has signed orders killing all of Obama’s climate change regulations. The EPA is prohibited henceforth from focusing on climate change.”

Mr. Hawkins points out that the left doesn’t worry about deficits, terrorists, health care costs, out of control spending, teachers’ unions’ strong-hold over public education, the government’s out of control spending, etc. Instead they freak out and the possibility of the planet burning 100 years from now.

The 5 reasons not to panic over climate change/global warming are as follows:

1.There is Actually No Scientific Consensus on Global Warming. Whenever any of us conservatives indicates that climate change/global warming is a hoax, particularly man-made climate change, the left always throws out that 97% figure representing the percentage of scientists that think that man-made climate change is real. Mr. Hawkins says that’s simply untrue, and reflects that, “A 2012 poll of American Meteorological Society members also reported a diversity of opinion. Of the 1862 members who responded, 59% stated that human activity was the primary cause of global warming, and 11 percent attributed to the phenomenon to human activity and natural causes in about equal measure, while just under a quarter, 23 percent, said enough is not yet known to make a determination.” Then last year, it was found that nearly six in ten climate scientists didn’t adhere to the so-called consensus on man-made climate change, per a study by the Dutch government.
2.Even if Global Warming is Happening and Mankind is Responsible, it may still make Sense to do Nothing. Former Secretary of State John Kerry, called climate change, “perhaps the most fearsome weapon of mass destruction,” and claims that unless we act, it could pose “the most catastrophic, grave threats in the history of human life.” Yet the UN Climate Panel found that the total cost of climate change by the 2070s is less than 2% of GCP. This means global warming is a problem, but is not by any means the end of the world. Its cost is equivalent to a single year of recession over the next 60 years. This comes from Bjorn Lomberg, of nationalpost.com in an article dated September 23, 2014. When you compare the threat, which we’re not sure is actually a threat, of climate change to what the world faces now, we acting like the person who is seriously injured in an automobile accident, but obsesses over the fact that her new Vera Wang dress was ruined.
3.Global Warming Theories are more Art than Science. Mr. Hawkins reminds us that we live in a world where scientists cannot tell us for sure whether it’s going to rain tomorrow, but we still have people assuring us of what the weather is going to be like in 100 years. Climate models used by scientists to predict how much human activities will warm the planet have been over-predicting global warming for the last six decades, according to a recent working paper by climate scientists, Michaels and Knappenberger. Climate models used to predict global warming have been consistently and egregiously wrong for decades.
4.We Don’t Have a Good Way to Even Know What Temperatures Were Centuries Ago. You often hear claims that every year is supposedly the “hottest on record.” Yet, we only started doing meaningful worldwide measurements in 1880, and many of those early numbers are considered to be unreliable. It’s been a mild winter in central Alabama. In fact, there have been very few days that I wore a winter coat, but do work out of my home. There were probably some days that I just didn’t go outside. We broke and came close to breaking a number of records for highest temperature on a number of days. It seemed like most of those record-breaking or near record-breaking days went back to the early 1900s. This leads me to think that we many have been in a warm cycle similar to the one that some say we are in today, back then. Also, when I was growing up in the North Alabama town of Cullman, about sixty miles north of where I live now, we would have at least one three to six-inch snow every winter. That’s not happening now, although Cullman did have about a three-inch winter before last. When I was in high school, our regular football season ended the first week in November. For the last two or three games, it was always cold. Now it’s not, leaving me to conclude that our climate is cyclical.
5.We’re in the Middle of a Global Warming Pause. Mr. Hawkins questions how we can be in a pause if liberals are claiming that we just broke a new record with every passing year. Because these “record-breaking years” are within the statistical margin of error.

To a reasonable and prudent individual, the above should bring to the conclusion that the validity of climate change/global warming is unconfirmed and questionable. Yet, folks like Al Gore, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, and Gina McCarthy all have insisted on many different occasions that “it’s settled, climate change/global warming exists.

Furthermore, these are other far-left zealots won’t even acknowledge studies or new statistics that affirms otherwise.

I know you’re probably tired of reading this, but I’m not going to stop. If Democrats, liberals, progressives, or whatever they want to call themselves, were the champions of the middle class and lower income individuals they claim to be, they would jump at any chance to disprove climate change, and not be in such a whirlwind to snatch us off of fossil fuels, a source of inexpensive and reliable energy, and transition us to the more expensive and unreliable green energy sources.

CHALLENGES TO CONSERVATISM WILL CONTINUE

As we enter into a new year, many of us conservatives are optimistic about 2017. After all, Hillary was defeated. If she had won the presidential election, things would be looking very grim. And while we’re optimistic, challenges to conservatism will continue.

While Donald Trump comfortably won the presidency via the electoral college, Hillary won the popular vote with her margin of victory coming from California. According to the left, this makes President Elect Trump an illegitimate president. When you explain to the “tolerant left” that this method has been utilized to elected a president since this nation was born, they scoff and say it’s not fair, it should be one person, one vote. This vast number of “open-minded” folks don’t understand that you can’t just change the rules on the fly because they didn’t like the outcome.

With a Hillary win, Obamacare would have remained in place with costs on the rise and actual healthcare on the skids. We’re now looking forward to Obamacare being repealed and/or replaced. The consequences should be lower insurance premiums, lower deductibles, and better care for all of us. Furthermore, her administration would have continued to force pricey and unreliable green energy down our throats, and at the same time reduce drilling for oil on American soil and the relatively new private sector innovation, called fracking or hydraulic fracturing. Energy prices would necessarily rise, squeezing low and middle income individuals. High healthcare costs plus high energy costs! If any liberal dares say to me that the Democrat party is the party of low and middle income people, that liberal will get an “earful” from me.

The above are just two of the horrors we would be experiencing had Clinton been elected to the presidency. Additional horrors will be fodder for a future article.

Prominent and even not so prominent liberals have indicated that will take steps to refute everything president elect Trump tries to accomplishes, thus the left intends to make endless challenges to conservatism.

Hollywood elite, Michael Moore, has already told the left to be in Washington D.C. before and during the inauguration in order to non-violently disrupt the ceremonies and events taking place by conducting protests. There’s even a website where anyone can visit and learn about civil disobedience on 1/20. He also indicated that a “Million Women March” was to take place on the day after the inauguration, January 21. He is also encouraging those who cannot make it to Washington to organize local protests.

In addition to the above, Moore instructs leftists to intimidate their elected senators and representatives, threatening to oust them if they support Trump in any way. Liberals should also demand that Muslim Keith Ellison be named head of the Democrat National Committee, to form “rapid response teams, and to run for public office themselves.

According to Conservative Tribune, there is an organization spearheading the protests at the inauguration called #disruptj20.org. Featured items on the organizations website include training camps starting Jan. 8 and continuing until Inauguration Day. Classes will include resistance, protesting, and how to proceed when you get arrested. It doesn’t sound to me like this “disruptj20” is encouraging non-violent protests. Constitution.com is also reporting that the organization of planning to create a “sense of crisis” to harass attendees at the inauguration and possibly to carry out some sort of drone strikes on the crowd. How does Michael Moore think that these snowflakes can possibly endure spending a night in jail when they have to seek safe spaces, where a grandmotherly figure serves them hot chocolate with marshmallows, when someone says something that offends and hurts their feelings?

Former MSNBC liberal commentator, Keith Olbermann, who appears to be spiraling out of control as a result of the 2016 presidential election, now hosts a GQ web series called, “The Resistance,” according to ijr.com. He is encouraging those on the left to humiliate President Trump every day and to call him stupid. He is also instructing liberals to find a Trump supporter every day and remind them that Trump lost the popular vote. Olbermann said, “Resistance means repetition, humiliate him, humiliate him every day, and those who support him. We are in this nightmare because at some point we stopped punishing stupidity in this country. We will not fix this core problem by appeasing the cretins…When you see something stupid, call someone stupid.”

Even former Secretary of Labor under President Bill Clinton, Robert Reich has instructed liberals to resist Donald Trump and anything he does, not only as president of the United States, but anything at all that he does.

Challenges to Conservatism? I’ll say. Plus, there will be challenges to the incoming president, Donald Trump and to individuals such as you and me. Because I hold myself out as a professional political writer, I’ve gotten used to being called names, but I’m afraid that with all the challenges to conservatism that will be taking place, fellow conservatives, who certainly shouldn’t be treated this way in the United States of America will be subject to undeserved assaults by the left.

The good people of this country are going to endure a lot in the coming months and perhaps years. Since the inception of the United States of America, most all generations have had to endure hardships. Attacks from those who are also citizens of this country, will be one more hardship.

HE OR SHE, WHO’S OUR NEXT PRESIDENT GOING TO BE?

The presidential election on November 8, 2016 will be the first election where I honestly have no idea who will win and become the next President of the United States. Note: I only said that this one is the first where I don’t feel like I can make a call. In all the elections since Jimmy Carter was elected in 1976, I have made calls, even not all of them were correct.

In 1976, I was sure that Gerald Ford would be Jimmy Carter. Who in their right mind could possibly vote for Jimmy Carter? I predicted all the following elections correctly until 2012 when I forecasted that Mitt Romney would win. Again, how could anyone in their right mind vote to re-elect Barak Obama? I predicted Clinton would win in both 1992 and 1996 and that Barak Obama would win in 2008.

In this election cycle, the polls have been all over the place, and there has been hints that those polls conducted by left leaning entities may not be telling the exact truth. However, the polls, per news sources, are tightening in favor of Donald Trump. Romney seemed to have the momentum in 2012 and was ahead in the polls, but somehow, Obama pulled it out easily. Do I think there was some fraud? Possibly. Going back to 1992, I’ve always said that while Clinton had the momentum, if the election had been held four weeks later, George H.W. Bush would have been re-elected. I almost feel the same way about Donald Trump. He’s gaining momentum and Hillary is losing momentum. Is it too close to election day for Trump to surge ahead?

While I have no idea who will be elected this year, I do know one thing is certain, not only with respect to the election, but in every aspect of our lives. “God is in control.” Yes, he is. He’s in control now, and he will be in control on the morning of November 9, 2016. This is being re-enforced in my church and in my Bible study. Christians should know this. Even though God knows who’s going to come out ahead next week and none of the rest of us do, this doesn’t let us out of any responsibilities of going to vote and praying for our country.

In his message on Sunday, October 30, 2016, my minister indicated that God puts people in positions of leadership for both blessings and judgement. According the website, Now the End Begins: “All through the Bible, we see God set up kings for a purpose, and take them down for a purpose. Sometimes God raises up a ruler to bless His people like He did with King David. And sometimes He sets up a ruler by whom the people will be judged, as He did with Saul.

Should God inflict upon America a ruler for judgmental purposes, it is still our obligation to pray for this leader and to pray for our country. It is also our responsibility to speak out against policies that are being forced upon us which will be detrimental to the nation. Because God is always in control and will always be in control, He put us on this earth for a reason. He has a purpose for us and we are to fulfill that purpose and everything we do should be to glorify God.

In closing, I encourage each one of you to spend some time reading the Bible and praying. There’s also substantial information on the Internet regarding the establishment of Kings and rulers by God. There’s only a few days left whereby we will elect a president, but there is no limit to God’s control.

God Bless…
