ARE FEMINISTS DESTROYING WOMEN?

With the many recent revelations by women who are alleging to have suffered sexual assault and abuse by various men, most of them famous in some way or the other, I’m getting the feeling that men are getting scared, and may become hesitant to have lunch, coffee, dinner, or meet in an office alone with any woman, even if that woman has been a valued colleague of theirs for years.

Vice President, Mike Pence, has indicated that he will not have lunch, dinner, or meet with a woman unless his wife is present. While that is certainly admiral, I think it’s carrying things a little too far. I had a job for over fifteen years where I worked and traveled mostly with men. I frequently had lunch and dinner with colleagues, met with them alone, and have even met with them in hotel rooms. All of these associates were consummate professionals and nothing out of the ordinary took place and wasn’t even thinkable.

With all the women who are trotting out and getting their fifteen minutes of fame, I believe that some are legitimate, but I also believe that some may be lying through their teeth. In the case of Judge Roy Moore, candidate for U.S. Senator from Alabama, some women are only alleging that he asked them out when they were in their teens and he was in his early thirties. The act of asking a young woman out on a date is not a crime, nor does it constitute sexual abuse. But once the woman comes out and speaks, feminists began screaming that the so-called victim deserves to be believed, and the man should be demonized for life. As in the cases of Michael Brown and the Duke University Lacrosse team, the alleged assailants are guilty, and the victims are innocent. Even if facts and investigations prove otherwise at later dates, the men’s lives are ruined anyway.

If I’m a working man with a family whose job it is to regularly interact with others in my field, both men and women, should I be concerned that some woman, a subordinate, a colleague, or even a boss may decide that they want to make trouble for me, and allege that I behaved inappropriately when alone with them? Maybe. It’s certainly something to think about.

If men are apprehensive about being around women because they fear being accused of inappropriate behavior, what’s this going to do to the progress women have made since the early seventies when it became commonplace for women to be hired to perform jobs that had traditionally been held by men? If a woman and a man are the top two candidates for a job such as the one I had for years, would the person in charge of hiring, to be on the safe side, opt to hire the man? What about promotions. Is this going to hurt qualified women’s chances of getting well-deserved promotions?

Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, many big decisions and strategies are made over lunch, dinner, coffee, and even drinks late at night in a bar.  If restrictions are put on these types of meetings, less is going to get done. Sure, guidelines can be implemented. But isn’t this just adding more layers of bureaucracy and more layers of stress?

From the day after President Trump’s inauguration, radical feminists have fought everything he and his administration have done, and are continuing to do so. They thought they were cute dressing up as women’s body parts and wearing the so-called vagina hats. But all they were doing were embarrassing themselves and, embarrassing the good and decent hard-working women out there who want to have the same opportunities as men, and compete for the same jobs as men, but don’t want to destroy men, our fathers, our brothers, our cousins, our nephews, our uncles, our sons, our husbands, and our boyfriends.

Furthermore, these feminists, including the queen of them all, Hillary Clinton, not only want to destroy men, particularly men who are white, Christian, and conservative, they also want to destroy the women who don’t see eye to eye with them. Women who didn’t support Hillary Clinton are of course, deplorables, but we are also problematic and a disgrace to our gender.

Several years ago, young black conservative, Jason Riley authored a book directed at the left entitled, “Please stop helping us.” He’s asking the liberal establishment to please stop helping blacks and describes how the liberal establishment has actually hurt blacks, not helped them.

Could the same thing be happening to women, could the radical feminists possibly destroy all the progress for which women have worked so hard? I believe that’s possible. So, to you, radical feminists, please stop helping us. You nothing but problematic and a disgrace to my gender.

THE ROY MOORE DELIMMA

Yesterday, November 9, 2017, the Washington Post ran a story where a woman claims that Alabama Senate candidate, Roy Moore, a Republican, initiated a sexual encounter with her when she was fourteen and he was thirty-two. The woman’s name is Leigh Corfman. Three other women interviewed by the Washington Post in recent weeks say that candidate Moore pursued them when they were between the ages of sixteen and eighteen, but none of these women say that Moore forced them into any sort of relationship or sexual contact.

The senatorial candidate has denied the allegations and alleges this is a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the left-leaning Washington Post.

As soon as I read this, I knew the candidate’s haters were going to come out of the woodwork. Even though Alabama is a Republican/conservative stronghold, liberals do live here and yes, they are liars, hypocrites, haters, and bigots in the same manner as Democrats throughout the nation.

Let’s assume first that Judge Moore did commit this heinous act. Everyone except a few “fringe” believe that the candidate should step down. Someone with this type of character and past does not belong in the United States Senate, or any public service capacity for that matter.

I’m a Christian which means I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who suffered and died, taking on my sins and the sins of the world, and was resurrected from the dead, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, Almighty. According to one of my Bible Study teachers, it doesn’t mean that I don’t sin, but it means that I hopefully sin less.

As a committed conservative and yes, Republican, I’ve often thought about what I would do if faced with the choice of choosing to vote for a candidate who shared my political views, but who was severely lacking in character, or choosing one who was diametrically opposite to me regarding current political issues. Judge Moore’s opponent, Doug Jones, is a liberal Democrat who aligns with the DNC on all issues, including abortion and believes that a woman has the right to kill her unborn baby right up until the time of birth. Once the baby has traveled through the birth canal, he’s an advocate for that baby’s life, but not before.  His values are not my values, and I believe having him in the Senate could jeopardize the Trump presidency and subvert the path we’re currently on for making America great again.

The election of Doug Jones will narrow the Republican Senate majority. Then Senate has already killed the repeal and replace of Obamacare and threatens to kill much needed tax reform. These huge pieces of legislation have direct effects on every man, woman, and child in this country. Without these reforms many, many Americans will be damaged extensively. Having Doug Jones in the Senate spell disaster for the American people.

I don’t’ know. I can’t possibly solve this issue myself. At times like this, I need the Bible, I need Jesus, I need direction that can only come from God. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of heaven.” God is in control, and God will give you direction if you sincerely ask for that direction and have it in your heart to follow his direction. I need God and so do you.

Having said the above with all sincerity, I’m now flipping to the facts. Judge Roy Moore has been accused of having inappropriate behavior with a fourteen-year-old girl in 1979. He denies the allegations. It’s the Judge’s word against that of the Washington Post and the alleged victim. Will we know the truth before election day, December 12? Probably not, since there’s so little time left.

In the United States of American you are innocent until proven guilty, unless you are a conservative and one who disagrees with the ideology of liberalism. If the left thinks you’re guilty, you’re guilty. Even if the left thinks you’re not guilty, but wants you to be guilty, you are still guilty.

The left has rushed to judgement many times, and has been wrong most of those times. Treyvon Martin, “hands up, don’t shoot,” Michael Brown, the Duke Lacrosse team members, the Cambridge police, Freddie Gray, Richard Jewel, etc. all serve as examples of the left being wrong. In their rush to judgement, the left has ruined the lives of many. If the allegations against Judge Moore and true, then he deserves to live the rest of his life out as a miserable old man who hopefully will  repent and get his heart in the right place. If the allegations are not true, he deserves a shot at becoming a Senator from Alabama and continuing his career of public service.

The Democrats, though, are going to do their best to disparage Judge Roy Moore and ruin his life, even if he is exonerated. Do the Democrats care if they ruin someone’s life, even if ruining a life is unjustified? Of course not. They’re all about hate and the ruining of lives, especially those who do not toe their leftist line.

In addition to the accusation against Judge Moore, not, at present provable, the timing of the Washington Post article is questionable. Roy Moore has been in the public light many times before his current run for the Senate. Why have these allegations not come out sooner? Ms. Corfman claims that she was scared to come out with her story until now? Until now, just before a very big Senate race that could play a large role in shaping the future of the United States?  Until now, when this country is more ideologically divided than ever, and a sitting president is the target of more hate and vitriol than any of us have ever witnessed in our lifetimes, she decides to tell her story?

In addition to Ms. Corfman, two other women have stated that candidate Moore pursued them romantically when they were teenagers and Moore was thirty. These women, unlike Ms. Corfman indicated that no inappropriate touching was involved when they were on dates with the Judge. One of these women is Debbie Wesson Gibson who says she was seventeen when Moore romantically pursued her. Ms. Gibson is a Democrat and a supporter of Doug Jones. Her picture with former Vice President Joe Biden is currently making the social media rounds. This picture was taken a few weeks ago when the Vice President was in Birmingham stumping for Democrat candidate, Doug Jones. Now, allegations, a month before the election, are being circulated about Roy Moore. How did this come together, all wrapped up in a neat little package?

The story here is that Democrats are liars who have no remorse about lying to get what they want. If those lies are determined to be lies in the weeks and months ahead, who cares, as long as their desired results are achieved. Do they care if their prize was predicated on lies? Of course not, Democrats have no sense of decency. Do they care if their lies ruin the lives of others? They don’t.

Are we still living in the “land of the free and the home of the brave?”
