According to, the French edition of the Huffington Post went full-Guardian with its response to Friday’s massacre in Paris, insisting there were several undeniable links between these barbaric and fascist acts by radical Islamists and the climate.

Oliver Lane of Breitbart, in an article entitled “Huffpo: Combating Climate Change is the Best Way to fight ISIS,” indicates that mass casualty terror attacks seem to have a strange side effect of sending the leftist Twitterati into a spin, leaving them totally off-note and publishing inappropriate, tone-dear nonsense. Salon was dishing up family size portions of it almost immediately, rushing out a Saturday editorial linking Islamist murder in Paris with the American right and Fox News and #BlackLivesMatter.

The French edition of the Huffington Post, in an article entitled, “A Successful Climate Change Conference is the Best Response to ISIS Brutality,” acknowledges that ISIS has declared war on us all. As a result, the only thing that matters from now on, as a response to terrorism, is a security reinforcement and a re-examination of our priorities. The Huff Post article, written by Corrinne LePage, goes on to indicate that the war that’s been declared on us is also psychological.

The report released by ISIS to claim the massacre in Paris uses all the tools of conditioning and psychological manipulation: a turning of tables, presenting the Islamic State as a victim instead of an assassin, while promising to continue to spread terror, and criticizing policy makers for creating internal divisions, a criticism intended to bring about self-doubt. (I don’t know what this means, so maybe I need to get a liberal to translate for me since I’m nothing but an unenlightened oaf.)

Ms. LePage indicates that our first response to ISIS should be to understand the above psychological tactic, so that we don’t allow them to win. She says we don’t have to be guilt-tripped into fighting these barbaric groups. Our values are strong enough to refuse to sink to their level. Instead, we should turn toward reinforcing national unity against their aggression. LePage believes that enlightenment and democratic progress are strong enough to stand up to such behavior, which is sending us back to pre-historic times.

Ms. LePage believes that the climate change issue will determine, in the long term, the survival of mankind, and in the short term, the demographic balance. She also believes that there are definitely several undeniable links between these barbaric and fascist acts by radical Islamists and the climate.

Because ISIS lives off of the smuggling and trafficking all kinds of goods, but in particular, on aid coming from oil-rich countries and oil smuggling, reducing the locations of oil and hydrocarbons, developing energy autonomy of each country through renewable energy, and fighting the omnipotence of oil producers will all help to reduce the power of ISIS. LePage believes that the consequences of climate change are forming the conditions of terrorism; mass migration tied to poor weather has destabilized a number of areas around the world, inevitable transforming them into zones of conflict. She further believes that postponing the COP21 conference would not be a wise thing to do because that would give ISIS the impression that they had won.

This woman also goes on to say that the behavior of countries in the North is sometimes questionable, and that democracy may not have been fully achieved. But that does not mean that humanism and democracy are not the best systems that humanity could have invented to protect and defend us. LePage ends the article indicating that the COP 21 conference will surely take place and she hopes that it will be a great success, as well as a huge slap in the face for the ISIS butchers.

Some liberals are blaming Fox News and conservative Americans for the Paris attacks. What else is new? Ms. LePage of the French Huffington Post is saying climate change is responsible for the terrorist attacks and the sooner we get off of fossil fuels, ISIS will be weakened.

Has anybody forgot the State Department Spokesperson (Marie Harf or Jen Psaki) who said that we needed to provide the terrorists with jobs, so they will quit doing bad things?

Let’s get off of fossil fuels and make the transition to green energy as soon as possible. And while we’re doing that, let’s get the terrorists jobs. The COP 21 conference needs to be re-scheduled as soon as possible. Originally, Al Gore was supposed to speak from atop of the Eiffel Tower, but that has been cancelled. And it’s too bad because that would have been so moving.

In closing, “Hip, Hip, Hooray,” we have a solution to weakening and eventually destroying ISIS: Attack climate change with vigor, transition to fossil fuels, and get the terrorists jobs.

Those who regularly read my writings know that I often refer to myself as an “unenlightened oaf.” This is because I often times have trouble connecting the dots with respect to liberal logic. Of course, I’m being whimsical and I don’t see anything wrong with that. Even though I call myself an “unenlightened oaf,” tests I have frequently taken through the course of my life have shown that I have an above average intelligence. I was smart enough to earn a degree from a major university, earn a highly respected professional certification in the insurance field, become a Microsoft Certified Professional in software development, and have successful careers in finance, insurance, and information technology. I still don’t know if the writing career is going to be successful. I make a lot of mistakes, though. I’m also a sinner, and continue to sin and fall short of the glory of God.

I have both liberal and conservative friends, but in thinking about my liberal friends, I don’t think I’ve ever known one of them to admit to making a mistake. I don’t think I’ve ever heard one of my liberal friends apologize for anything. Generally what I hear is them trying to put the blame on everyone but themselves. Now, I’m not saying that my liberal friends have never sincerely apologized for something or assumed ownership of a situation gone badly. I’ve just never heard one of my liberal friends apologize for anything.

I often post on forums and social media threads, both liberal and conservative. When I have posted on liberal forums that I will call any liberal who denigrates Dr. Ben Carson a racist, the liberals have gone crazy. They can’t possibly understand how they could be called racist. They’re liberals. Of course, they begin calling me names and continued to denigrate Dr. Carson.

In addition to thinking they’re Christ-like, they think they’re the smartest people on the planet, and studies have shown that the majority of academicians do fall on the left of the political spectrum. They think they know better than you do about how to run your lives. They know more about the food you should eat, the vehicle you should drive, the financial investments you should make, etc.

Having said all of the above, I’ve never known a liberal that could read and comprehend what he or she was reading. I can’t begin to estimate the times I’ve had to explain simple words to a liberal. The following is the drill. I have to explain what I’m saying at least twice, then the liberal responds, totally off subject. At that point, I usually get frustrated and abandon the thread. Yesterday, I responded to a “stupid liberal” article offering my opinion and was called a liar. An opinion is not a lie and I “hit” the responder with this, asking him/her to tell me where, in my post, I had lied. I have not received a response and I’m not holding my breath.

This leads me to another liberal activity, hurling insults and accusations. When they don’t like what you’re communicating, but are unable to respond to you in an intelligent manner, they begin their insults and accusations. If they can’t make anything stick, they call you a racist. It’s their hope that you will be insulted and apologetic because the worst thing a person can be in this day and age is a racist. However, liberals have changed the meaning of the word racist so many times that I think, even as smart as they consider themselves, they can’t keep up with the multiple meanings of the term.

Bigot and bigotry are other terms that liberals often throw out there at you. I had a liberal on social media imply that I wasn’t respectful of differing points of view. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I have never know of a liberal, not even one liberal who had respect for a point of view other than theirs. If you are against universal healthcare, you don’t want people to have access to healthcare. If you are against certain government entitlement programs or think that they should be examined for effectiveness or waste, you hate the poor. If you think that marriage should be between one man and one woman, you are a homophobe. If you didn’t vote for the current president and disagree with him politically, you are racist. Of course, any conduct by a conservative can be construed as racist because liberals have implemented many definitions of racism so that they can pin that moniker on you if they can’t get anything else to stick.

Liberals also love to accuse conservatives of stereo-typing. Again, this is just another instance of the pot calling the kettle black. If you own a confederate battle flag, you’re automatically declared a racist. Liberals refuse to listen to anything you might have to say. Black liberals even get huffy when someone says they don’t like turnip greens. Anyone who doesn’t like a particular food is automatically a racist.

In summation, the very things that liberals continually call conservatives: racists, bigots, homophobes, stereo-typers; they are ten times more guilty of! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

The website, is the best site I’ve found for illustrating where the different Republican presidential candidates stand on the issues. The issues it lists are as follows:

  • Budget, Spending, and Debt
  • Civil Liberties
  • Education
  • Energy and Environment
  • Foreign Policy and Defense
  • Free Market
  • Health Care and Entitlements
  • Immigration
  • Moral Issues
  • Second Amendment
  • Taxes, Economy, and Trade

On the scorecard page, the website administrators give the candidates green, yellow, or red dots for their stand on each of the above issues. Green means good, yellow means mixed, and red means bad. For example, candidate Donald Trump was awarded a green dot for his stance on immigration because he wants to deport all illegals and build a wall on the United States/Mexico border. On the other hand, Mr. Trump is given a red dot on Free Market because he supports the seizure of private land for economic development by private investors, he supported President Obama’s 2009 stimulus package, and he supported TARP.

An eyeball review of the colored dots indicates that Ted Cruz is the most conservative, being awarded 10 green dots and 1 yellow dot. The yellow dot was for Free Market. Lindsey Graham looks to be the most liberal having been awarded 8 red dots, 3 yellow dots, and no green dots. Cruz and libertarian, Rand Paul were the only candidates who received no red dots. Jeb Bush and Carly Fiorina, and Lindsey Graham were the only candidates that did not receive a green dot.

Of the eight candidates that participated in the “primary debate” telecasted by Fox Business Network on November 10, Carly Fiorina was awarded the most red dots, 7.

By clicking on a dot under a particular candidates’ picture, you will be directed to a page with content outlining the details of each candidates’ stances.

Because we’ve all grown up with government provided safety nets and become used to them, no one is a pure conservative Furthermore, most of us are not in favor of eliminating government programs such as Social Security, Medicare, or unemployment compensation.

I’m not about to outline the details of the top eight candidates’ stances on all of the above issues. You can do that yourself. However, the following will give a brief description of Donald Trump’s and Dr. Ben Carson’s stances on the issues that are the most important to me and possibly to you, also.

Donald Trump

Healthcare/Entitlements: Has said, “I will fight to end Obamacare and replace it with something that makes sense for people in business and not bankrupt the country. However, he has advocated for universal healthcare in a system similar to the Canadian system and has indicated that our objective should be to make reforms for the moment and, longer term, to find an equivalent of the single-payer plan that is affordable, well-administered, and provides freedom of choice.

Energy/Environment: Believes that climate change is a hoax. Advocates utilizing America’s natural energy and oil resources. Supports fracking and nuclear energy. Opposes cap and trade policies. Did support the renewable fuel mandate.

Tax Plan: Reduces the top marginal rates on individuals from 39.6% to 25%. The plan has a bottom rate of 0%, a tax bracket for anyone making between $25 and $50 thousand. Reduce the corporate rate to 15%. Reduce capital gains and dividend taxes. Eliminate death tax.

Immigration: Wants to build a wall on our southern border and get Mexico to pay for it. Opposes amnesty for illegals. Supports ending the birthright citizenship loophole frequently employed by illegals. Said he would deport any Syrian refugees let into the United States by the Obama administration.

Foreign Policy: Sees Obama as a serious threat to Israel. Says he has an absolute way of defeating ISIS that would be decisive and quick, but wouldn’t do so until ISIS toppled Syrian dictator, Bashir al-Assad. Opposed nuclear talks with Iran. Opposed the second Iraq War. Made the case for not removing troops immediately from Iraq because of the potential for Iraq to become radicalized by Iran. Believes U.S. forces have no role in the Middle East.

Dr. Ben Carson

Healthcare/Entitlements: Has said that Obamacare is the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery. Supports health savings accounts and other free-market reforms in place of Obamacare. Believes that any fix to the long-term solvency of Social Security must start by gradually the age seniors become eligible for benefits based on the rise in life expectancy.

Energy/Environment: Opposes policies aimed at regulating climate change and supports increased energy production. Believes that developing our energy resources is a key component of world peace. Believes the EPA’s responsibilities should be focused on working with the private industry and academia to find the safest and cleanest ways to utilize our natural resources.

Tax Plans: Has proposed a ten percent flat tax based on the biblical concept of tithing. But has said that the 10% number is not necessarily the number he would propose. Has said that Obama is wrong that raising the minimum wage will reduce income inequality. Has said that he supports raising the minimum wage, a form of government wage controls. Proposed the democrat idea of indexing the minimum wage to inflation so that we never have to have this conversation again in the history of America. Opposed passing Trade Promotion Authority to give Obama fast-track authority.

Immigration: Supports a national guest-worker program. Said that immigration reform should start by ending 5incentives for illegal immigrants. When asked about a pathway to citizenship for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in 2013, he said, “of course allow illegal immigrants to have a pathway to citizenship.

Foreign Policy: Has indicated simplistically that the solution for combatting terrorism is not war, but ending our oil dependency on Arab states, stating, “the terrorists will be defunded, and that’s the way you get them.” Blames low morale and weakness in our current military on the sequester spending cuts. Strong supporter of Israel. Called the Iran deal the worst deal in American history. Has shown a lack of understanding of the way foreign governments work.

In subsequent posts, I will continue outlining candidates’ stances on these issues. However to obtain additional details, which you will surely need to determine which candidate gets your vote, visit the site.

According to, the campus police at the University of Missouri sent out a campus-wide email this yesterday morning asking “individuals who witness hateful and/or hurtful speech or actions” to immediately report the incident to them.

The email didn’t define what constitutes “hurtful” speech, but did say if anyone experiences or hears it, they are immediately to get in touch with cops and provide “a detailed description of the individual(s) involved, along with the license plate and vehicle descriptions. Also, if possible, take a photo of the individuals. The email apparently goes on to say that if it is an emergency situation of “hurtful” speech to dial 911 instead of calling the campus police. The email also says that delays, including posting information to social media, can often reduce the chances of identifying the responsible parties.

Is this some kind of a joke?

So, if you’re on the University of Missouri campus and witness someone saying something “not nice” to someone else, you’re to document it with your phone, notify the authorities and upload it to social media as soon as possible.

I’m still a bit confused about exactly what happened at the University of Missouri that led to the resignation of the University president and the chancellor. According to my research, the president was considered by certain students to have been slow in his efforts to address and take action on certain racial incidents at the university. Apparently, there has been racial tensions at the university for several months.

Is there anyone out there who hasn’t had something hurtful said to them? People say “not nice” things to others constantly. When I was a child, I had hurtful things said to me by other children, adults, relatives, etc. Many of the things said to me were because I was overweight as a child. It certainly wasn’t fun back then, but as an adult, I believe those things made me strong and gave me much insight.

As an adult, I’ve had hurtful things said to me by friends, boyfriends, bosses, co-workers, etc. It happens and you get over it. Once again, it can serve to make you strong. Also, I’ve learned a lot from this. Some of the things that were said and done to me over the years, I would never do to others.

I blame the current administration and all liberals for the above. We all know that liberals think that we, the people, are too stupid to run our lives. They think we’re unable to decide what to eat and drink, what to drive, how to invest our money, how to choose our healthcare options, etc. Do they now think we, the people, are too inept to take care of ourselves should someone fail to be nice to us?

I’m a small-peas political blogger and have been called many things, including, but not limited to: moron, idiot, delusional, stupid, dumb, etc. by liberals, who don’t agree with me on political issues. I wonder if I can make demands regarding those who have called me such things. Should I call for those people to lose their jobs, lose their livelihood, and be destroyed? Under the foregoing circumstances, calling for these things would never occur to me.

The far left and maybe some of those who espouse to be center-left, seem to be steering us in a direction where all transgressions are punishable with extreme measures. According to statistics, liberals comprise approximately one-half of the American population. Do I think all liberals want to destroy those who don’t agree with them politically and those who have said things that aren’t nice to someone else? I’m afraid I do.

The following is a summarization of the demands made by students at the University of Missouri:

  • That President, Tim Wolfe, write a letter of apology to Concerned Student 1950 demonstrators, acknowledging his white privilege and also acknowledging that systems of oppression exist. He is also to admit gross negligence in failing to act swiftly upon certain racial incidents.
  • Even with the above, the students want Tim Wolfe removed as UM president.
  • That UM create and enforce comprehensive racial awareness and inclusion curriculum throughout all campus departments and units, mandatory for all students, faculty, staff, and administration.
  • By the year 2017-18, UM increase the percentage of black faculty and staff members by 10%.
  • That UM compose a strategic 10-year plan that will increase retention rates for marginalized students, sustain diversity curriculum and training, and promote a more safe and inclusive campus.
  • That UM increase funding and resources for the UM Counseling Center for the purpose of hiring additional mental health professionals, particularly those of color.
  • That UM increase funding, resources, and personnel for the social justice centers on campus for the purpose of hiring additional professionals, particularly those of color.

The above came from an article on, a primarily southern college sports website.

These are some pretty ridiculous demands. Students do not and should not run college campuses. If the students at the University of Missouri don’t like the campus life there, why not just transfer to another school? If they think there’s systemic or institutional racism present, then leave UM behind and go somewhere else. But that’s not the liberal way. The liberal way, fostered by the current administration and all liberals, is to severely harm and or destroy anyone who doesn’t agree with their racist, bigoted, and anti-American agenda.

What’s happening at the University of Missouri should scare everyone. It scares me. When is it going to happen to me? When am I going to say or do something that the left decides, on the spot, is somehow offensive to others on the left and be libeled, slandered, or destroyed in some other manner? And does this also mean that I, a conservative, have the right to not be offended. Do I have the right to destroy someone who says something “hurtful” to me? Of course not, silly rabbit!

As a believer in Jesus Christ and a follower of his teachings, I am instructed to follow him, pure and simple. I’m not to concern myself with why my life is not perfect, yet there are so many in this world who appear to have perfect lives. Even though I have so much love to give, I’m not to concern myself with the fact that, to date, I haven’t married, nor bore children. I’m to follow him and know that he is in control. Furthermore, God never promised any of us a perfect life. In fact, quite the opposite. We will have struggles in life, but are comforted to know that God is in control.

I have friends and acquaintances who appear to have a blessed life, surrounded by many loving family members and wonder why I’m alone. I have friends who have never had a problem controlling their weight and wonder why I struggle constantly. Yada, yada, yada…you get my drift.

This planet is not a perfect place and won’t be until Jesus returns and sets up his thousand year reign here on earth. And while we should always strive to be the best we can be and never accept imperfection as the norm, we know true perfection cannot be achieved until Jesus returns.

Every day, though, especially since the current President of the United States took office, we see liberals, on the surface, at least, attempting to provide ultimate perfection in our lives. Sadly, they have made things worse.

Let’s begin with everyone’s favorite, healthcare. In railroading the ACA through Congress and making it the law of the land, this administration has wreaked more havoc on the American people that any other administration. Americans are being forced to purchase health insurance against their will. For those who are able to purchase health insurance, premiums have sky-rocketed and the quality of healthcare is decreasing. Many have been unable to keep their doctors and have deductibles so high that they would suffer financially if they incurred a health catastrophe. Yet liberals, told us to focus on the fact that everyone would have access to health care. Moon bat Pelosi even encouraged us to quit our jobs that we hated and “write that great American novel, follow your dreams.” We wouldn’t have to worry about healthcare. I could write a short story on this and will one of these days, but not today.

After foisting an extremely flawed ACA down our throats and shedding tears because now all those poor souls who didn’t have access to healthcare would not have it, it looks as though liberals are realizing that it’s not working. Now they’re telling us that we’ll get used to it, the high premiums and the lesser quality.

So, were they really wanting to make things perfect for us in the U.S.A. or were they just wanting to take control over 1/6 of this nation’s economy and exert additional power over our day to day lives. I’ll take the latter.

Currently, the current president and his liberal henchmen are advocating that companies, provide paid family leave for their employees. Also, anyone who is against a government mandate for paid family leave, according to liberals, is evil. Of course, I’m a conservative, and I think paid family leave would be a great benefit for companies to provide for their employees and think it should be encouraged. What I’m against is a government mandate for paid family leave.

The Family Leave Act passed by the Clinton administration in the nineties, requires companies to provide family leave to their employees, but it’s unpaid. Twenty years later, I still have yet to find anyone who has used Clinton’s Family Leave. Most workers will use the paid time allowed that their companies provide them, so they won’t lose pay. For me personally, using Clinton’s Family Leave would be a last resort.

Should the liberals get their way, companies, especially small businesses are going to be hit hard. And what’s this going to mean for employees? We all know the answer to this. Possible layoffs, a decrease in raises and other benefits, etc. Also, this would surely result in an increase in the price of goods and services a company provides.

But liberals seems to think that government mandated family leave is another panacea in their quest to make our lives perfect. And again, “be aware of Greek’s bearing gifts.” Liberals, including the current administration, do not care about you. All they care about is taking control over as many aspects of your lives as possible.

With liberals, step by step, attempting to take God out of our lives and foist all their government programs upon us under the ruse of making our lives perfect, are they trying to establish “heaven on earth?” Well, it’s not going to happen.
